These are comfortable and cute but so slippery. I've fallen twice down wet stairs because of these boots. They are waterproof and great for snow, but if you're on a wet surface like concrete or steps be really careful! Seriously the most slippery sole I've ever experienced when it's wet out. Weirdly slippery for a boot with what looks like good tread.

Don't be quick to send them back! I have been wearing Timberlands since 1979. I always have at least one pair in my closet, usually two. I wear them to death. This is the first pair I ever received that felt so snug out of the box that I was ready to send them back. They were tight on both of my feet, they felt too narrow. The right boot was also snug on the top of my arch so much so that my foot was getting numb. But these are also the first pair of Timberlands I ever bought that have a warm, thick lining. I put on thin socks and wore the boots around the house. Within an hour the pressure eased up on both feet so that they no longer felt too narrow. Within two hours the pressure on the top of my arch eased. Within three hours I could wear them with heavy winter socks. I wore them for several hours last night, I put them on first thing this morning with my winter socks and they feel fine. I am a 7 medium and they feel great today. It's 19 degrees here and they are WARM! Don't give up on them until you've worn them a few hours.

I've tried a couple Timberlands and didn't like they way the looked on me and were uncomfortable! These are more feminine in my opinion then some of the others. I love these boots! I got them in wheat size 7M fit perfect! I was debating for a few days what size to order because reviews seem to say either size down or size up a few true to size ugh so I had a 7 and a 7.5 in my cart and last second Before checking out I just picked one and with the 7 glad I did! I have a tricky shoe size I am mostly a 7.5 but in certain riding boots and flip flops I'm a 8 so I'd say a 1/2 size down from your true size would be perfect sizing up would of had a lot of wiggle room and maybe some like more room but I like my shoes to fit perfectly don't like a lot of room. So bottom line absolutely adore these tims! Fashionable/comfortable/flattering.

I was looking for boots that I could wear when it was cold out, but not too snowy. With the fleece lining, I though this style would fit the bill. It was sturdy enough and the bottom has great traction. It also looks good. After reading the reviews, I ordered the 11W (I am usually an 11M). I had tried Timberlands before and they always ran small on me. Holy cow! I could barely get my foot in it. I am not sure who Timberland is using to base their shoe sizing on, but it cannot be the average American woman. If you order these boots, I would suggest you order up at least a half size or maybe even a full size.

Really good-looking and functional boots and I'm really happy I bought them. They've kept my feet warm and dry commuting in inches of slush and shoveling out of a couple of blizzards and yet look cute with a pair of leggings. They also, surprisingly, don't at all make your feet look big. I'd say they run true to size, but I wear them with thick socks. If for some reason you prefer very thin socks or your feet are narrow, you might want to size down.

These have been my main shoes for 6 years. I hope they never stop making them. You can wear them in the workshop or for a night out. It's really hard to find work boots for women that are also cute. These are it!

I bought these boots for my teenage daughter. As she was walking out the door this morning she told me that they were the most comfortable boots she has ever had! And, they look great too!

My 13 year old daughter chose these boots after she determined UGGs do not fit her feet. (She has a high instep.) She absolutely loves them. She normally wears an 8, but I bought them in an 8 1/2 so she hopefully can get more than one season out of them. They are a little big, so I'd say they run true to size. They don't run wide, which is perfect because she has slightly narrow feet. They are extremely comfortable and seem like memory foam soles. But best of all, they are super stylish! In fact, I would have kept them for myself if she didn't like them. Thank you Zappos for helping me save Christmas with next day delivery!!!

Great style, good traction, comfortable for long walks and feet stay warm and dry! Plus got stopped by people asking where I got them! - the burgundy colour rocks by the way! Reminds me off Dr. Maertens I used to own. I did put Superfeet insoles in the shoes because I need more arch support though.

I do not understand the reviews that say these are too small. I ordered my regular size 10 but I did order a wide and these boots look and feel much too big. I have exchanged them for a 9½ medium. I will post an update or a new review as soon as I receive them tomorrow.

As advised, went with half size larger. Bought black, wide. Excellent width for toes and no slippage on my narrow heel. Amazingly comfortable with my arch support orthotics. Also, way more stylish than one might think from the photo. I wear with slacks, jeans and even skirts with tights.

I wanted some durable/waterproof black boots for winter. I wear an 11 wide. These did not feel wide, so back they go. However, some pluses - I loved the fleece lining.

Do to previous reviews I was nervous. They fit absolutely fine! I’m familiar with this style of boot. It fits the same from the 80’s!!!… I’m very happy with my boots!! ZAPPOS definitely impressed a lady!!! Im sooooo pleased with my app order???. Arrival was on schedule. The shoes were untouched. I’m looking for more items to purchase!!!???

LOVED this shoe. But wide width doesn't mean will fit thick ankles. I couldn't get them on, and must return them.

Love that you can get these wet and they are comfortable and match with so many things.
