I love these boots because they fit perfectly. I have very large calfs (19-20). It is hard for me to find a store that sells this size but Zappos had them. I love you, Zappos! You are my favorite online store.

I absolutely love this boot and just can't wait until the winter months to wear them. It's very stylish and I wear it with leggings, skirts and jeans (not tucked in). Very sturdy too, I am going into my second winter season with them. For those who have big calf's this shoe will work. I wear a 11W and my calf is big and it fits good, you will not be disappointed.

Loved these boots. Really cute. However, they have to go back they are too tight around my ankles. I was hoping these would fit. The calf fit great and I'm a 16 inch calf, also they run a little big to size. I were a 8 I think because a ordered ww width. Perfect in the width very comfortable. I will keep trying...love Zappos! Best ordering site ever!

This is a great boot. After ordering 2 or 3 other pairs and having to send them back (too big or small in the foot; not truly wide calf etc.) I was so happy when these arrived (overnight) in time for our family photos. They are made very well, comfortable, durable and fit very well. I would buy these again in another color! I am not sure about the cushion in the heel. I can't really tell it is there and my high arches wish there was better arch support, but again, I love these boots!

I ordered these boots last night at 10 pm last night and am wearing them before 2 pm today. Zappos is crazy organized and efficient to make this possible. The boots are nice. Comfortable, though I think I will add a thin comfort insert. The leather is soft with a pebbled texture. The wide calf fits perfectly, with plenty of room to zip over jeans. The zipper is on the inner sides, not the back as pictured. The height is perfect for me, I am 5'2" and these hit about 1.5 inches below my knee.

I was sure these boots were gonna be great. Out of the box, they had a great look, and I was happy about the thin, insulating lining in the shank. On my feet, though, they were a huge disappointment. The heel box was really rigid, so even though the toe box didn't pinch, I had to jam my foot into the boot, even though I was wearing only a thin sock. Then as I walked around in them, I thought something was cutting into my heels from under the foot pad. I pulled the boots off to look and realized it was a plastic tear-drop shaped brand name, sewn into the footpad of the boot, that felt like it was poking up. Ugh! These are going back.

I love these boots. The material is high quality and, on top of that, they are very comfortable. I would say that the bottoms are a bit hard if you plan on walking all day in these boots and would recommend some kind of insert for day-long use. Other than that, I am very happy with these boots as well as their swift delivery.

I love these boots! I had previously bought another style in Fitzwell boots, but the bottom surface of the heel came off, and Zappos did not have any more in my size. I was so disappointed, but I ordered these, and they were just as great as my others. I travel a lot for work, to some very cold, snowy territory, and these have been life savers through this terribly cold, snowy winter. They look great with slacks, jeans, even skirts. I will definitely be buying more Fitzwells!

I have larger calves and these boots fit perfectly! I really like the boots... the inside heel is a bit "hard" but the lining of the boots is awesome.

3rd time's the charm. These fit my 17" calves perfectly (size 8.5 boot). Pebbled leather looks pretty good. Like the buckle. They fit well but maybe need some padding in the sole. I don't mind the heel thingy, not much arch support.

I wanted a plain black boot and these are exactly that. Nice pebbled leather. I really like the plush lining. There is not much arch support and they are a bit tight across my high instep and the toe box is a little more narrow than some. The shaft was wide enough for my larger than average leg...maybe even too wide. I really wanted to like these but after wearing them in the house a couple times, I think they are just too tight. I will try again...Zappos has many to choose from.

I absolutely love this boot! I have an extremely hard time finding a tall boot that fits my wide calf (19") and my wide foot (I call them duck feet). I had just about given up ever being able to wear a tall boot again until Zappos! This Myla boot fits like a glove and has exceeded my expectations. I really thought I'd be returning them because it's been years trying to find a boot that zipped up - I am thrilled these fit my foot and calf and will be worn all the time. I ordered the 11 and the extra wide width based on previous reviews - the extra width provided more in the calf area and this was true and the width was perfect for my foot as well! The quality of the boot is A + and the black pebble leather is stunning. Zappos you have made be a happy lady and one that can be stylish again! Zappos shipped the boot instantly and I received my order in a matter of days. Thank you Zappos - I will definitely be back!

I was a little nervous about buying boots online, but I'm so happy I did. I love these boots - they're stylish, the slightly pebbled leather looks great, I can wear them all day, and they fit my 16"-17" calves with room to spare. The calves are lined with a thin, furry lining that's really toasty - I'm looking forward to slightly chillier weather so that I can wear them without getting too warm! My only (tiny) issue is that the heel is a little low, so it looks a little less graceful than ones with even a half inch higher heel.

Pleasantly surprised. Cute boots... I'm 5'8 and I thought the length was great. I've worn with both tights and jeans and have worn the last 3 days in a row... Without any discomfort. I have plantar fasciitis - so there's always that threat- Looking for brown now!

I love these boots. They are comfortable but I just hate that they are wide calf. I have big feet but not wide calf. It would be nice to have then in big sizes without the wide calf. I had to take them to a shoe repair place and have the boots taken in.

They fit my 17½" calfs! I ordered 9M. The medium width felt just the slightest bit narrow. As other reviewers have mentioned, the Fitzwell Gel Comfort Heel Pad feels like it is a little too far forward on the footbed. This makes walking in these boots feel like you are walking on a ball. I am just happy to find a pair that finally zipped up my monster calfs.

LOVE them. Ok wide calf is just another word for fat or athletic calf...which I will own up to having. These are great. Fits right over my 18-inchers and were easy to zip up. Nice soft leather and even softer interior. Great for when you are wearing tights and a dress. Nice height. Nice heel and detailing. Reasonably priced. Will love forever. Great for both coasts and in between!

I ordered a size 11ww since I usually have to size up in boots from my normal 10.5w size. The 11 is too long, but the ww is perfect. So I will be exchanging for my normal size and only upsize in the width (10.5ww). I don't agree with the people saying the pebble texture looks cheap, I think it looks really nice and high quality, I got the black. My calves measure 17" and these fit great with jeans tucked in. If your calves are much wider or if you want more room, I would recommend the Fitzwell Lauren wide calf which was too wide in the calf for me.

I checked out the other sister reviews, which helped a ton. The boots are exactly as expected, I ordered my regular size in a wide, and they fit my calves, and, bonus, look great with jeans and tights. I tried many different styles for my 15" calves, these rock!

Finally a boot that fits my calves! Tried the regular wide width and it zipped but tight and the shoe was a whole size to big, sent it back and got this one in the WW wide width in a whole size smaller, it fits perfect. My calf measures 17" and it zipped with no problem at all. Love these boots! Real leather, soft lining inside boot shaft.

I travel a lot for work to cold weather. I had been looking for a good pair of leather boots that fit my 17 inches wide calves for years. I always had to buy fake pleather elastic ones. After a long search and reading all reviews I chose the Fitzwell Myla and they fit my calves perfectly, even over jeans! I was so excited when the zipper closed easily! I'm a size 9 and always buy boots a half size larger. These 9.5 look like a 10. When wearing them the shoe looks longer/ bigger to me. My husband said they look fine...nevertheless I'm keeping them! However, I will try a gel insole for extra comfort.

After searching a long time for a boot with a wide calf and a style I desired, I seemed to have finally found them. Very stylish, comfortable and reasonably priced. At first when I took them out of the box I wasn't sure if I liked the 'pebbled' look of the leather (like a few of the other buyers), but honestly I feel they look so nice on I didn't seem to notice anymore.

These are just wide, so if you need extra wide they will not fit. Also the leather is pebbled, FYI.
