Love, Love, Love SW I own several pairs of the 50/50's and was dying to get my hands on a pair of these. I typically wear a 9 but in the 50/50's 8.5 fits with still some room, so I decided to go with an 8.5 in these as well. They def fit more snug, but I won't be wearing a thick sock in these. They run very narrow in the calf and are made for thinner legs. My legs are a little chubby (5'4.5" 130 lbs.), but i can make them work. Unfortunately, I returned them from Zappos and ordered them from a different store. The packaging on these boots was like any other shoe. For the price they should come with a dust bag just like they did when I received them from the other store. Zappos, please pay attention when sending out higher-end shoes because presentation does play a key role in such expensive purchases.

I have been eyeing these boots for more than a year now until I finally decide to give in and buy these boots in topo suede. They are perfect! They are definitely an investment, but they are worth every penny! I have not found any other over the knee boots that are just as good as these ones. They fit my skinny legs and are not baggy. I am a 7 or 7½ in shoes (usually 7½ in boots for sock room). I did not see a 7½ available so I got the 7 - It fits perfectly as it still has a little room left for socks! I am 5'2" tall and these boots make my legs look long and lean. I am just imagining all the outfits that will go with these gorgeous boots.

It took me a long time to commit to buying these shoes. They are definitely the most expensive shoes that I own, and they are worth every last penny. I have read every review out there on these boots, and it seems half of reviewers think they run true to size and the other half think they run half a size large. For reference, I consider myself a true 9½, but I have some shoes that are a 9, some shoes that are a 10, but mostly 9½. I reached out to Zappos customer service and to Stuart Weitzman customer service trying to get some guidance on what size to get. Everyone told me to try them on in person, but living in nowheresville, Louisiana there is not a store near me that carries Stuart Weitzman. One Zappos customer service representative told me to get the 9 while another told me to get a 9½. Same thing with the Stuart Weitzman representative. I got different answers from everyone that I talked to. Finally I decided to just go with the 9½ and I could exchange if they were too big. When the 9½ came, I thought they were perfect. Everything seemed to fit just right. But I could not help but think the 9 might fit better. So I called Zappos customer service again and they had the 9 sent to me free of charge so I could compare the two. It seriously took an entire week of trying on both pairs and comparing the two until I finally settled on the 9. What ultimately led me to chose the 9 was not necessarily how it fit in the foot but how it fit everywhere else. I have super skinny legs and ankles, and the 9½ bunched up a little more around the ankle than the 9 did. The one thing I did like better about the 9½ was that it came up a little higher on my thigh. I believe the bigger the shoe the longer the shaft is. But I am super happy with my purchase and will have these boots for years to come. I would recommend these to anyone and I would also recommend sizing down a half size!

Online, the leather boot looked great and I read online (elsewhere) that the boot is perfect for petites (I'm 5'3, 105 lb). However, I was really disappointed when I received the boot. 1. The leather feels really cheap, almost plastic-y. Not worth the nearly $1k price. 2. It wrinkles in all the wrong places for me (ankle, around the thigh). Those 2 reasons alone made me doubt these boots. For $1k, there should be 0 doubt. I wish the leather wasn't so cheap looking, although if it was better quality, it might not be so stretchy. I'm also a 7.5-8 and I got the 7.5. With thin socks, it felt pretty loose. I might purchase the suede boots to see if those look better. For now, I am passing on the leather ones. Not worth it in my opinion.

Beautiful ,sexy boots. I waited a long time to finally purchase. Zappos had the best price, quick shipping and I knew if they didn’t fit I could easily take them to any ups and drop off with no hassles.

Absolutely gorgeous boots! Been coveting for what seems like ages! Got a black suede pair and when I saw the sale price I just had to get a second pair in lorn suede! So The boots are narrow as many have said, however, not as narrow as I was afraid they could be! I'm 5'6 (won't mention my weight as I just recently had a baby lol ) & currently my legs are chunkier than I'd like them to be but the boot fits perfectly. Goes over my knees up to my mid thigh. I'm usually 8/8.5 got these in 8.5 and the fit's great. I know I won't be able to wear it with skinny jeans under but I could with jeggings & tights, or bare legs! Overall in love with these amazing boots & extremely happy with the purchase, worth every cent !

These are gorgeous boots! Every time I wear them I notice people looking at them and I receive compliments. They are not for women with extended calfs or thighs. They are very snug on the legs and I'm quite thin on the lower half. I am 120 pounds, 5'1". They come up on me almost to mid thigh but not quite half. I wish money was no object as I would own the grey ones and the burgundy ones too. As a first pair, I opted for the black as it is more classic.

Love these shows. I have a narrow foot and they fit great. Also, the block heel is great for an outdoor wedding.

Beautiful looking and hopefully comfortable like my other SW shoes. Haven't worn yet but know they will go with almost anything. Looking forward to wearing them!

The best high boots on the market. Looks and feels expensive. Soooooo comfortable. Unlike other luxury brands SW doesn’t compromise comfort for style. I swear by these boots and own in 2 colors: tan and black suede.

High quality boot & absolutely beautiful! The theigh-part must stretch easily, as I've tried on two different size 9's. The one that had clearly been tried-on before was bigger (and much looser) than the one that was clearly brand-new and hadn't been touched. Something to take into account...

Gorgeous, soft. The "londra" color is best described as a medium to dark grey, or a charcoal color. No brownish hues in it. I don't think I can pull off both a high heel AND an OTK boot at the same time, so I'm returning to wait for a sale on a Lowland.

Gorgeous, soft, very nice. Ultimately, I just decided that I can't pull off both an OTK and a high heel at once. I'm hoping one day the Lowlands go on sale.

At first I was hesitant purchasing these because they're all leather, but they look so beautiful and elegant in person. I was also pleasantly surprised that for a 4 inch heel, they feel comfortable. I can't wait to wear these with tights, jeans, skirts, leggings and dresses! SW always impresses with the quality of leather. They hold up in NYC streets, which is hard to do. Love that they were on sale!

For several years I've coveted these boots. I took the plunge when they went on sale. They are perfection. You need thin thighs if you want to wear pants with them. And on thin thighs I'm not sure how long they will stay up as I've only worn them in the house. I've tried numerous cheaper versions of an over the knee tight black boot and these are by far the best. My size is already sold out in black suede but if you can get your size I highly recommend going for it!

Beautiful boot! I have narrow feet and my usual size fit well. The 4 inch heel isn't too bad. They aren't uncomfortable. The price for these was amazing- I couldn't pass it up!

These boots are gorgeous! I wear between a 7.5-8 and took a 7.5 in these. They fit perfectly. Padded footbed is very comfortable. If you have larger thighs these may be a tight fit though.

Fantastic boots! I got these Highlands in my usual SW size, a 7.5M, since they're made in Spain and I find European shoes run half a size small. I normally wear a size US 7. They're definitely slim in the calf, and while I have somewhat chubby legs due to gaining weight, they make my legs look slim, and without the dreaded 'muffin top' at the top of the boot I get with my Lowlands (which in that style I took a size 7 because I felt the footbed seemed roomier like the 50/50). The calf stretches very little, which is great so it doesn't get slouchy; the footbed is perfect. I say go with your normal EU size, especially if you have slightly chunky legs and a wider foot. For reference, I found the difference in these and the Lowlands to be that Lowlands have a larger footbed, while Highlands are true to EU size (meaning size up half a size from US size); calf is slim in both, but the 7.5 Highlands gave me a little more room than the 7 Lowlands. Glad I got these on sale during the summer months...will be looking forward to rocking them in the fall and winter!

I was torn between the Lowland and the Highland. I had tried on the Lowland at a dept store and loved it!! However, I needed a higher heel otk boot since I had a couple (one Charles David and one Vince). I am so glad I invested in the highland. This is a beautiful boot. The quality is amazing!! And the overall look dresses up whatever you're wearing. I will mention you won't be able to walk around the city all day long however they are very comfy for the height of the heel. I wore them with an above the knee dress. Its getting a little warm to wear now but can't wait to wear with skinny jeans next fall. They fit true to size. Highly highly recommend!!

I love, love, love these boots! I own them in Black suede and Black leather. I think Black suede is a classic, while the leather versions are fun. I actually like the leather ones a little bit more. I also love the Taupe color and would buy them, but I already have the Lowland boots in Praline, which is a very similar color to Taupe, but just a bit darker.
