These are not molded quite the same as the normal cork Birkenstocks and the foot shape is a bit different. This model runs slightly longer though the toe moldings are closer to the front of the shoe, the width is the same as my normal/wide sandals, and it has a pointier toe (see photo). I've been tripping over the front of the shoe because it gets caught when I'm walking--not sure if it's the pointy toe or extra length. I can't decide if I'll return them, try a size smaller, or just wear them around the house.

I just got these in white, and I love the way they look. They are comfy and fit like my other Birks. However, the first night of wearing them, I was cooking and something splashed on my foot. i think it was tomato paste. I wiped it off but there is now a discolored, yellow spot on the shoe. Perhaps this is just an inherent danger of having pure white shoes, but considering they were advertised as being totally washable and waterproof, I didn’t expect them to stain so easily. I’ve tried putting white vinegar, baking soda, and mild soap on the stain - nothing gets rid of it. Pretty disappointed. It was my fault for wearing them while cooking I guess but I truly thought they’d be easier to clean. Also, they make really obnoxious squelching noises if you wear them with your feet even slightly damp (say, from lotion).

Love the EVA styles. Disappointed that the Arizona only comes in “narrow” for women. With a high instep and thick feet, narrow footbeds are not for me. I will be returning both pairs I purchased.

For some reason, it seems that the women's colors are only available in the Narrow fit. This shoe is about 1/2 an inch narrower than the regular fit. I have a pinched nerve in one foot that gets aggravated if the ball of my foot is compressed at all, so I wouldn't have ordered these had I known about the width. I'm getting by with just wearing the front strap on that foot a notch looser than the other foot. My reason for getting these is to have a pair that I can wear while puttering around in the yard, watering and such. I didn't want to ruin my leather pair. The upper straps on these do rub on my foot in a painful way, so I just wear ankle socks with them. That doesn't look great, but for puttering around the house and yard, it's okay. I'd love to be able to get the regular width in some of the pretty colors! I do like the light weight and easy to clean material of this pair. The sole of the shoe is comfortable and gives my metatarsal arches the support they need.

Normal...not narrow. I was worried that these were classified as narrow but took a chance and it is all fine. Not sure why they are called narrow...they fit my wide-ish feet the same as my other Birkenstocks. I even lined up the sole to compare. I also saw some questions about if these were "slippery" and I don't feel a slip risk. I wore them on wet grass and wet pavement...I think if you adjust the straps and buckles right, you'll be fine. The bottoms have good traction, same as the normal Birkenstocks tread pattern. I'd say I feel more confident walking around on sandy or wet terrain in these vs. traditional flip flops. Happy shopping!

Pleasantly surprised! I have a wide foot with bunions. When I saw "narrow fit" i figured these would no way fit me. They fit great and the adjustability was perfect. Also, I have flat feet and the arch in these did not bother me,

Moving into spring, I needed something to wear around the house that provided support but didn’t break the bank. Since I love birks for day-to-day wear, I figured these were worth a shot. While I can’t speak to whether they’d hold up to daily outdoor wear, I think they’ll be perfect for house shoes! I’d also consider a second pair for beach, pool, etc. They’re comfier than expected and super light.

38 firs my size 8 foot. 39 is an inch too long. Purple shade is a pretty but very soft pastel. So much more comfortable than the Honolulu with the toe insert. Easy go- to slip on. I was comfortable for all day walking. I have in 4 colors! Price works for me.

Don’t hesitate...buy these! I have considered buying these for a few years now but always changed my mind. I hate the Arizona Birk in regular leather, it just was clunky and not comfortable to me. So I finally decided to try these. These lightweight molded rubber ones are not clunky. They are super comfy. My test is always to wear them right out of the box on a 1 1/2 mile walk with my dog. No blisters, no discomfort! I may buy in other colors. The watermelon I bought is absolute beautiful.

Perfect for the beach and pool. They provide comfort, no scratchy sand getting between your toes in flip flops, 100% waterproof! Easy to rinse off coming off the beach. Wore morning and night on my beach vacation. Perfect to bring littles to the pool in and play water games in outside.

Great shoes - bought the hot pink as I will only be using at pool, beach or on a boat, so wanted something fun I wouldn’t wear in real life :):):)

Fits perfect! These are comfortable slip on sandals. The 40N fits my sized 9-9.5 feet perfect.

Comfortable. Not as firm as regular Birks.

Initially concerned about the "narrow" but it was perfect, and I don't have a narrow foot (it is average).

A little bigger than the regular "Arizona" style, definitely size down some if you prefer to wear WITHOUT socks.

My last pair of Birks died after over 12 years to be replaced by Arizona Soft Beds, which I love, but I knew I should not wear them out in the rain. Enter the Essentials in yellow - love them. I wear a 91/2 average in U.S. sizes, and the 40 fits me perfectly, even though they are marked Narrow. The Essentials are cute, slightly goofy-looking in the bright colors (which I don't consider a problem), and very comfortable. Eventually, I will get another color, equally bright. I have gotton compliments and the price is certainly right!

Look like Birkies. Feel like plastic Birkies. Birkies but plastic. So they are a different feel and look. They look a lot nicer and seem to be a better quality than the knock-offs I have seen. I am glad that I bought them. I’m glad to have a pair that don’t mind getting wet. They are not slick when wet. They are comfortable to wear as a water shoe. I had a little rubbing on the top of my foot the first day and had to adjust the strap so beware of a lot of walking until you have tried them out, just like any new shoe.

Finally, a Birkenstock that I don't have to worry about getting wet! I bought these in blue, and they have actually helped with my lower back pain. I have a wide foot, but there is enough room in the straps to adjust for the width. The straps were a little hard to adjust, in that the holes weren't smaller than the hooks. I had the holds opened a bit more, and that did the trick. I wonder what took Birkenstock so long to some up with sandals like these.I intend to buy another pair in the pink.

When I first got these, I wore them around the house for a week because I wasn’t sure if I was 100% satisfied with the fit. I ordered the same size as my leather bike sandals. I felt like these were a little smaller than my other birks, but still fit pretty good. I am so glad I decided to keep these. They are super comfy and light weight. Just like all Birk sandals, the more you wear them, the better they feel!

When purchasing, the only width available was "narrow" which made me nervous, but these fit just fine. I actually have the buckles adjusted almost to the last dot. They run a little big, I usually wear a 9US (40) and a review recommended sizing down which I did, to a 39 and I'm very happy that I did. The coral color is much more bold than the picture shows which I was pleasantly surprised with. I love these for throwing on and going out in the yard or for after a run to change out of my running shoes/socks. They clean up well, are comfortable for walking all over. More supportive than I expected for a rubber sandal! Great gardening/camp shoes!

I am between a size 7.5-8 in most brands and was worried about ordering the 7-7.5, but they fit great and even had a little room! I was also worried about the narrow width, but they feel like a normal width. Overall they are great, run a little large and wide, and have great support! Bonus: they are waterproof.

These are AMAZING!! I have a half dozen pairs of Birks and these are the MOST comfortable!!! Ordering more colors!! A+

Not as supportive as my leather birks but I love the waterproof option. They have a pointy toe and look narrow but aren’t tight on my wide feet. I have some room at the big toe which looks a little odd but doesn’t impact comfort. Took a few days to break in but now they are my go to sandals.
