Love these boots. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. Very handsome boots.

This is the first review I have ever left, however these boots are so beautiful I feel the need to write one. To start, these are extremely comfortable. The insole felt soft and cozy immediately. The width was perfect for me. I don't quite have wide feet, but maybe a bit wider than average, so some shoes can feel snug. I can't quite explain how gorgeous these are though. They are sleek, but not too dressy. They have a bit of edge from the buttons, but aren't trying too hard. They.are.perfect. That being said, I'm not sure why exactly but these hit me at a strange place on my leg. I would give my first born to have these in a 10-12" boot, but alas, it is not offered. There is a similar one, but the toes are super pointy, which I don't care for. I'm kind of heartbroken. I LOVE the style and comfort of these boots.

Do yourself a favor and go up a size in these! My mother ordered me a pair for a birthday present and I tried them on after they arrived to ensure they fit... and I'm glad I did! A size 8 fits her size 7.5 foot with a sock perfectly. I went up to a 8.5 and they fit me! She ended up keeping the rejects and now I have to wait another two weeks. These are too adorable to pass up!

Great little short boots, Felt true to size and width I like the snaps, they really work so you could leave them unsnapped if you wanted, even thought they have a zipper on the other side. easy to tuck in your jeans or just roll them up to the top of the boots. Get these you won't be sorry.

So I ordered these and they sent another boot. Same thing but without the buttons and brown. Loved it! So then I ordered this one again. Now I have two pairs. They give pretty good arch support and they break in pretty quickly. I do prefer the dark brown ones to the black though. It's a brown black and you can kill two birds with one stone.

I love these! They are very comfortable. I can wear them all day and my feet feel great. The only bad thing I have found about Frye boots is that once you wear a pair you are spoiled and it is difficult for other boots to measure up!

I love Frye. I have been looking for great short black boots and didn't want harnessed (already have a pair Martina Engineers) or something too hard edged either. These really caught my eye. But I really don't know my leg dimensions, other than it's skinny. The Lynn is 13". I would've been okay, except that it gaped and kind of peaked forward in a weirdly unflattering way that is not apparent in the pictures. Maybe the leather is flattened from shipping and would've softened and molded to a more natural form and shape? The gaping was really too much for me so I returned and am going to try the Phillip which is the 11" version of this shoe. I really hope it yields better results since I really like this style.

Nice looking boots. I have to wear socks above the boot because the shaft rubs my leg. The leather should soften more. I wish the boot had some traction instead of the sole being flat. There isn't much arch support so comfort is just okay. They are a quality boot but Frye could have made them better.

I really wanted to love this boot, but when I tried it on, it felt too clunky. The toe box is a little too rounded, so it looks more like a work boot. It would have been a lot more attractive if the toe box area were more tapered. It felt true to size, but I could tell that they would be a little slippery on carpet. The style is nice, and I was sold on the buttons, but I just couldn't get over the clunky look and feel of this boot. Overall disappointed and returning.

These are as cute in person as they are in the photo but they weren't nearly as comfortable as I need boots to be when paying this much. I seem to be an 8.5 in most Frye boots and this held true for this pair (in nearly every other shoe I try, I need a 9). The shaft was a bit big around my leg but I have small ankles so this is not uncommon for me. Style-wise I wanted to keep them but like I said, they were not comfy - very stiff, hard footbed and rubbed in a weird place on my right foot. I'm also comparing them to the Carson Pull On, which are so comfortable. This boot would have to be like walking on air to top the Carson. I love Zappos though. Just ordered these two nights ago and they were on my doorstep today. So fast! And thanks to the free shipping and returns, it's a safe way to try on boots that I can't find locally. So thank you Zappos!

Cute boots but not as rugged as I had hoped given their "military" description. I've got very narrow feet and Frye boots usually fit me perfectly; but these were much too narrow. Seemed about a half size too small. Returning.
