The dress was great, but unfortunately it just wasn't my size and I'm not interested in going through rounds of alterations. For reference, I ordered a size 0. I'm 5'6", 115 pounds, 32C. The waist and hips had extra room but the dress could barely zip around my chest/rib cage area. This would be a fabulous dress for someone if she happens to be the exact proportions of the dress!

This is a beautiful, simple, classic dress. I am still deciding on whether to keep it or not. I want something simple like this dress. However, like many millennial women my age, I find the idea of spending even a thousand dollars on a dress that I will wear only once quite ridiculous. That said, $1200 on a wedding dress is not terribly bad, and this one seems to warrant that price to some extent. It is fully lined, with a boned corset-like underbodice. The dress is made from what appears to be a taffeta like fabric, only I believe it might have a bit of stretch to it. Additionally, the train is what I believe is "chapel length" which makes it all the more wedding appropriate. Should I choose to keep the dress, I will likely wear some sort of lace topper over the dress for my November wedding and remove the topper for the reception. For reference I am 5'0" (30-23-33) and the 0 fit fairly well, though I would likely have the waist and skirt taken in slightly to accentuate the "mermaid/trumpet" look. The length would definitely need to be altered as well.

Perfect combination of modern and vintage! This is such a timeless dress. I'm so excited to wear this for my wedding. I was amazed at how light the dress is while still being substantial enough. The silk faille fabric is gorgeous. If you google, you can find lots of ways to style this dress. I plan to wear it with a beaded sash with some shine and a fantastic beaded capelet. Zappos customer service, one day lightning fast delivery, and caring are off the charts, as usual. Thanks so much Zappos! I also bought a gorgeous pair of Badgley Mishka wedge heeled shoes to go with this dress from Zappos.

This dress is perfect. I thought it was way too simple until I tried it on. I felt so glamorous even with out the frills and sparkle of other wedding dresses that I had tried on. It's a total blank canvas and I love the idea of being able to add my own glitz with accessories. I would say it runs true to size. I'm normally a 0, but had to get a 2 because there wasn't a ton of room for my chest. I'm glad I had to go up a size because the boning doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room. I will definitely need to have it taken in on the sides, so the boning won't be an issue. It will also need to be shortened because this dress is supermodel long, even in the smallest sizes, but it's worth it because this dress is a dream.

This dress fit true to size. I am 5'4", 120 lb and I normally wear a size 4. I needed a size 6 in this dress only due to chest (34C). I will need to have the sides taken in below my chest, as everything below the chest is a little loose and this is the kind of dress you want to really fit you snugly. I absolutely love this dress. I went to boutiques where the salespeople struggled to find me anything remotely decent for less than $1,700.00. So glad I was able to find this dress instead. The style is very flattering and the dress really lends itself to accessorizing. I was worried that the material would be thin and unflattering (no layers of lace to cover up any imperfections), but it is NOT. I also read complaints about the ribbing on the dress but I did not find any issues with the structure of the dress. The built in bra/corset is great. Was so happy Zappos carried this beautiful dress.

I still can't believe I ordered this dress on Zappos and received it at my door less than 24 hours later. My wedding dress! This same dress is at nice wedding boutiques in Chicago and it almost seems "wrong" that I can just order it this way but you can't beat Zappos' return policy! So I did. The dress is perfect- which I already knew. Sophisticated, romantic, and beachy (for my beach wedding) all in one. This dress is very flattering and you feel like a bride but can still be comfortable.

Beautiful dress but runs quite large. I'm 5'6", 32-24-34 and ordered a 2 because there were no 0s left. The 2 is huge and will have to be taken in quite a bit. The material is wonderful, a silk cotton twill. I had tried dresses on in bridal shops and felt that their dresses were made of cheap fabric disguised with masses of beads and lace. This dress doesn't need any of that to look good. No frills, no fuss. There is an underwire bra built in which is a little unfortunate because the underwires are too small. The bustle it comes with is also pretty wimpy, will need to be reinforced properly by a seamstress. Overall though, this is a classic and will be my dress.

I LOVE THIS DRESS. Unfortunately it did not fit my frame because I have a very short waist and the cut is meant for a normal length in waist. (I'm about 5" from my belly button to the base of my sternum. Pretty short.) As a result, it bunched at my hips enough to warrant a return. HOWEVER.... Because the return process with Zappos was a breeze and Zappos is the best ever..EVER... If you have any curiosity regarding this dress, you should order it. It is truly stunning on, despite it not quite fitting my body. FYI I'm 5'5", 34d, 140lbs, usually wear a 4-6 in dresses. I ordered the 6 and it was slightly snug getting zipped up top due to my chest, but overall fine otherwise. It is long, so the bottom may need hemmed unless you're quite tall. Anyway, the style of this dress itself is fabulous. The lines are so clean and classy, the color is gorgeous, and the fabric is a beautiful matte. It really allows you as the bride to shine, instead of a dress taking over. I was bummed that this gorgeous thing didn't fit me right, but that's okay. Win some, lose some. It's still a stunning dress and worth trying on. I hope it works for you!! Cheers!!

I ordered this dress in a 0 and 2 not sure which size would fit. I'm 5'2, 102 lbs and the 2 was too big, the 0 fit but I had to find a seamstress to take it in and to alter the hem. It's a very pretty dress, no frills no fuss, but still elegant, comfortable, love the fabric. I think it says the color is ivory, but I would definitely say it's a white (not blinding white, but off white). Love the bustle in the back and overall the quality of this dress as an affordable wedding dress was perfect! I've purchased Nicole Miller dresses to wear as a guest to weddings in the past and always been very happy with the style, weight, size and quality. Now if only they had petite sizes!

Stop looking for a wedding dress the instant you read this review, because this dress is AH-mazing! I ordered it on Monday, received it on Tuesday, and as soon as I got home I put it on and gasp, it is sheer, utter, unadulterated PERFECTION. Now, I'm not 'skinny' but I'm 5'7, athletic and have some curves, so I ordered a size 4. This dress has the most beautiful silhouette, nips and hugs where it should, and is classic light ivory color. Granted, I'll need to add a little 'oomph' to the chest, take in the waist slightly, and hem the skirt about an inch to work with 3" heels, but all that aside- I said a wholehearted YES to this dress as soon as I put it on. Now, the fabric- the silk cotton blend is lightweight, but doesn't leave you wanting for substance. It is not 'shiny', which is perfect for those wedding photos and the construction throughout is high quality and well-conceived. I should mention that there is a button and loop for a one-point bustle sewn into the underside of the dress, which should probably be reinforced by a seamstress during the alterations. As one seriously picky chick, I went out on a limb and ordered my wedding dress (of all things) online without ever having tried it on. Crazy? Yes. But boy, am I going to sleep well knowing that I have a gorgeous dress, that will highlight me, rather than me highlighting it. Yay!

I LOVE this dress! I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about! If you have a large chest and a small waist this is your dress! The material is a perfect blend of silk and cotton. It basically reads like sateen sheets, formal but understated. I'm wearing it with an all lace veil. :) LOVE! This is my second and final dress.

It's a gorgeous dress but it runs on the smaller side. I ordered size 8 despite usually being a 6 but the zipper would not go up around my back/ shoulder blades. I needed to return it.

The dress arrived in a dirty garment bag that looked like the bottom half had been hanging in a damp, muddy place. The bag was ripped and had several pieces of tape over the holes. There was no insulation or any kind of wrapping in the box that it arrived in. I'm very disappointed. This is a $1,000+ wedding dress. I expected much better wrapping. The dress does not appear to have any damage, but I have mold allergies and I'm very concerned with the state of the garment bag and where the dress had been stored before arriving. Very disappointed Zappos, as your shiping and customer service is usually great.
