I wanted to like these so bad. I love my keen river sandals. Had to send back the first pair & order Wides (my feet are not wides) I like a tough boot but these are still stiff & clunky after a year of being worn every 2nd or 3rd day. Doesn't prevent them from being wearable, but it's not ideal. They SQUEAK. It's not my sock rubbing, not the sole on the floor, it is something internal to the boot itself. To counter all those points, theyre still in great shape. Maybe they would break in, if someone wore them laced too tight every single day for a few months, but i need to rotate boots for foot smell.

I am about to order my third pair of these boots. For my particular situation I have to wear a heavy duty boot with acceptable durability and comfort. I wear these every day I work, and they've been through the wringer this year. They stand up better than any I've tried, and I've tried them all. These are the best I've found, though not perfect. They are quite heavy, and at the end of a long day, you know you have a nearly 3 pound boot on each foot. My current pair are just over a year old, and have started to delaminate at the toe cap and cover on both boots, though they are still functional. I'll retire them to nasty duties, and start with another new pair. I use Dr. Scholls orthotic inserts with these, and they make the boots a perfect fit for my old worn out feet. I've found Keen footwear to suit me quite well. I have 2 other pair of Keen boots, one a lighter work boot, and a pair of light weight hiking boots. I also have a pair of Keen surf sandals that I dearly love.

I really give shoes a job to do. Protect my feet. They get weather of all kinds, I kick, lift, push etc. and at long periods just drive so it is really nice to find a pair like this! When not working I slip them on for a walk with my dogs. I love them!

I have abused these boots for 3 years now (1 pair per year) and I'm about to buy my 4th pair. These are by far the best work boots I have ever owned. I wear these boots 5-6 days a week for a minimum of 10 hours each day and my feet never hurt. Break in time was about a day and after that, you're walking on clouds, clouds that way ~3 lbs per foot (the boots are heavy, but you get used to it). I also throw in some insoles on top of the ones already in there due to my foot situation. They can get a little warm in the summer, but all boots are. I also highly recommend using a PEET drier if you like clean, dry boots. Buy these boots, they're good in all conditions.

The quality of this shoe is superb. However, it just doesn't quite fit too perfectly to my feet. It felt okay but not quite that comfortable when I first put it on walking around the house but then that is no real test. I thought maybe it will break in nicely at work. So I had no choice but to actually wear it to work. Well, the first three times, I was crying for mercy. It was the worst breaking in period of any shoes I have ever tried. Then I heard someone say to change the insoles. So I bought a pair of Dr. Scholl insoles and that saved my life. No doubt the styling and the quality is great but inside the shoe has very little padding and is not soft enough to cradle your feet with kindness especially at this price. After the killer break-in period and a change of insoles, it is now tolerable. The key lesson here is that if it doesn't feel quite right while trying it on inside the house, you should not tempt fate, and just return it immediately. Otherwise you won't be able to return it and you will be stuck with an expensive pair of feet killers.

This boot/shoe will NOT work if you have anything over a low volume forefoot. The length and width were true to size, but they are very shallow at the forefoot. I was able to get them on, but could not handle having them on for more than a few seconds because it was so painful. They ARE well made, and clearly a quality boot. I'm disappointed, to say the least.

Great fit, very comfortable, true to size. Only issue is that there doesn't appear to be a truly waterproof shoe.

Wide size is slightly less wide than in past years. Be Ref. n ordering the same boot for 10 years now. Also left boot always squeaks after about 6 months. Super annoying. Still love Keen boots.

I love these boots, I have owned several pairs over the last 7-8 years. They are tough and durable. They are very heavy, but comfortable enough that you forget. Although I love these boots, I love taking them off at the end of the day too!

Just bought the Milwaukee's. Been wearing them a few weeks now and after the initial break in period they are very comfortable. This is my 3rd pair of Keen boots/shoes. They maintain their durability for years. If I didn't get a boot allowance from my company for boots every year I'd probably still be wearing the first pair.

This boots are monsters built to last for sure! The first weeks it feels a lil sturdy but pretty soon it becomes the most reliables boots in the market. I wear them in the snow with no problem and Not water coming through, don't get intimidated for the price, you will be paying quality! Excellent job Keen.

I always heard great things about Keen boots, and these work boots met my expectations. Stylish, very protective and comfortable, but also heavy! To me the boots were comfortable right out of the box, the only exception was at the top which required some break in. The sole is rugged and provides great traction. My only comment is the weight aspect. I like the room in the toe box, good arch support, definitely recommend these boots, excellent quality.

I've been a Timberland boot wearer since about 1985, and have purchased a new pair about every 3-5 years. I'm pretty hard on my boots. The last pair of Timberland boots that I owned were ok, but didn't last as long, and were hurting my feet a little. I don't know if Timberland boots have changed or my feet have changed, or both. But regardless, it was time to look for alternatives. I've owned Keen sandals for about 5 years and have loved them - very sturdy and very comfortable. So I decided to break my 30 year Timberland habit and give Keen boots a try. I purchased them a few months ago. Best boots I've owned. Very sturdy, very comfortable. I don't have a single complaint. I can't say how warm they are because I haven't tried them in winter yet, but they do seem like they will be warm - which is important where I live (Vermont). I hope they last as long as my Timberland boots have. Time will tell.

I have been wearing keen for a few years now. I got these boots about a month ago and they are awesome. Quick break-in, comfy and rugged. I would buy another pair in a heartbeat. I hope keen does not stop making them.

I bought Keen sandals a year ago and they've been super comfortable and they look great. Now I needed boots so decided to stick with Keen. I bought the Milwaukee WP and the Keen Pittsburgh together to compare (both are steel toe), and even though Keen Pittsburgh has a lot more reviews (Pittsburgh has 135 reviews and Milwaukee WP has 26 reviews), after wearing both around the house for a day, I ended up liking the Milwaukee WP more. Both shoes are great quality, but my toes felt crowded in the Pittsburgh. The Milwaukee WP is little taller than the Pittsburgh and that seemed to help jeans stay over the shoes at all times. The height of the Milwaukee WP seems just right. I wore both inside the house for a few hours and I'll be keeping the Milwaukee WP. People's feet vary and therefore any complaints on comfort have to be taken with a grain of salt. Some people need more padding/support in their shoes than others. Overall, I feel Keen puts good quality into their shoes A to Z. It's that attention to detail which won me over in the Ssndals and these Boots. I would definitely recommend Zappos and Keen and Keen Milwaukee WP boots.
