These are amazing boots! I tried so many boots looking for comfort, warmth, support, shock absorption, quality and waterproof. These boots have it all plus the convenience of a slip on. I use them daily for errands and four mile walks in the snow. The traction is average and not great on ice, but I did not find any boot that really gripped on ice. I have both lower back and neck issues, so I am always looking for shoes with good shock absorption and these have it. I am using an orthotic for a little extra support. I only started wearing them this season, but so far, they keep my feet warm and dry. I absolutely recommend them!

I wear a size 10, so I wanted a good pair of snow boots that weren't bulky. These fit the bill perfectly. They are really nice looking in person. I love the combo of brown and black! I've gotten compliments from both strangers and my husband! The only drawback, which I discovered two days ago, when I wore them in real life snow - the shaft height is a little short. Snow somehow kept getting in the back of the boot and I had to scoop it out. I'd say these are great city boots, maybe not for someone who lives in an area where they have to walk through piles of snow. Also, they are very warm. Was 11 degrees yesterday and my feet were toasty.

These are awesome boots! They are incredibly comfortable and toasty warm. I wore them in a light, cold rain recently and did a fair amount of walking around all day. They were perfect. I tucked my jeans into them and wore with a pair of lightweight wool socks. Excellent fit right out of the box and no breaking in required. They are beautifully made and the buckle detailing adds fun style. I absolutely love these boots! I am so pleased. I felt good in them all day.

I purchased these for my 16 year old granddaughter who lives in northern Wisconsin. She picked them out because of the other reviews, they were warm...and yet stylish. Her words...not mine. She received them and loves them.

Beautiful well made boots. Even more stunning in person. Great tread, very comfortable. I would choose to order a half size larger then you wear because they run a little small. I had to send my regular size back, they fit too snug- for a half size bigger which made all the difference. Also if you have a wide foot i would suggest looking for a wider boot.

I really like these boots except for one thing. They are winter/snow boots, but they have so little traction in the snow/ice. My drive is a hill and after shoveling it, and a fine amount of snow is still on it, I cannot walk on it with these boots. I slide all over like I was on an ice skating rink. I guess the treads keep the ice inside them and do not melt so I am walking on ice on snow and ice. Its very strange. I like these boots, but when I have to shovel, I will go back to my old reliable LL Bean boots I have had for over thirty years. They do not hold the snow in the treads.

I really like these. They are a little baggy around the ankle but still cute. I've worn them in rain and snow and they're definitely waterproof. I'm glad I got them!

Nice product but I had to return them. I have large calf circumference and this boot was very snug to zip up. I have a high instep so donning the 8.5 (which is my true size) was very tight. So, the 9 allowed me to don easier but it was too big. Other than that, the boot is very nice.

Good investment! Super comfortable and waterproof. I have large calf muscles so I can't zip them all the way up with jeans on, but even with them half zipped I have no problem walking in them.

I usually wear a size 10AA shoe, I ordered a size 10 1/2 and they fit like a dream. My heel doesn't lift, my toes have decent room without feeling like I am wearing clown shoes. I originally wanted a taller boot, but for long distance driving that just wasn't practical (not enough flex in the ankle). There is no getting around these are spiffed up snowmobile-style boots, but they do have a certain amount of lumberjack chic. I ordered the Keen Betty Boot, Sorrel Joan of Arctic, and another Merrell (Haven Autumn). These were the most comfortable by far.

I have worn these several times in wet chilly weather. I stayed toasty warm and dry. Got my usual size. I guess they run a little big because I wear them with thick wool socks for added comfort.

Ordered this boot in an 8.5 for our daughter for Christmas...my wife tried it on to check the fit...she wears a size 7 and it fit her perfectly...had to send it back for a size 10...hopefully that will fit our daughter and able to wear a nice boot sock. Must give the customer service lady an A+ for all of her help in assisting us on returning the smaller boots...thank you so very much!

Super comfy. A tad big so room for extra socks. I ordered my usual size. I hike more than an hour a day up here in northern MN and my feet stay warm and dry. Love Merrell...mostly all I buy. They fit my feet.

These truly do run a large. Normally a 10.5 would be comfortably roomy, but it was very large in this boot, even with a sock. So within the space of 3 days I ordered a 10.5, exchanged them for a size 10, and received credit for the first pair. Thanks, Zappos! The boots are prettier than pictured, as they're a sort of deep, creamy white.

I tried so many different winter boots and finally chose these. They are so comfortable and warm. The perfect boot to slip into after a long day of skiing. They zip up which also makes it easier to get on- you don't have to tie laces. I highly recommend these. They fit true to size based on your dress shoe size (not athletic shoe).

These boots are adorable and practical. Just enough rubber to be waterproof but buckles and style are cute Usually wear a 6 in Merells but based on other reviews, also ordered 5.5 and lad I did. They run a tad large.

Usually I like the Uggs but they did not have them in stock. I am glad that I got these boots. I have tried many snow boots and these are the best ones. They are warm and easy to put on. They are not too bulky and have a zipper.

Super warm boots that are light and comfortable to walk in. The side zipper makes them very easy to put on and take off. I bought a half size larger so I could wear thick wool socks.

Initially I purchased these boots to serve as my footgear when commuting, or walking dog during sleet and snow. I have found that they are so comfortable, I frequently forget to take them off when I get inside! If you only have money to spend on one pair of snow boots, get these. You will not be sorry.

I needed snow boots for a trip to Chicago. Ordered these one afternoon and they arrived the next day! They worked great! And again Zappos came through for me.

I love these boots. They keep my feet warm, are comfortable to wear, and they look great on me. I am 5'1 and normally don't like to wear flat shoes but these are like tennis shoes, so comfortable. I wear size 5.5 to 6, but purchased in 5.5. They seemed a bit tight at first but are perfect after wearing a few times. You'll love these boots too.

I love these boots! They are warm, waterproof and much easier to walk or drive in than Pac boots. I wear an 8½ or a 9 and the 8½ fit perfectly with normal weight socks. I was a bit nervous spending so much on snow boots, but I am very glad that I did!

I just received my new pair of Merrells. I sometimes wear a 7, but ordered a 7 1/2 in case I wanted to put in an insert or wear thick socks. I also bought some knee high smartwool sock and I love them. Expensive though. Back to the Merrells, I am very pleased. I haven't had a pair of Merrells before, but am very familiar with the brand from way back. They have a great history behind them. The reviews on some of the Uggs were not so good for the snow/rain, even though they are warm. I did a lot of researching and got confused, but am happy with what I got. The weather here in Oklahoma is nice this week, but I am ready for anything now.

These are really cute boots. They are warm enough to wear without socks in Alaska. I can put on without unzipping and they are really waterproof. These boots fit my narrow 8½ feet and they are light and cushy and made with tough material. Buy them!
