This shoe took me through two weeks of heavy walking in Japan -- no small feat ("feet?") when you consider I'm facing surgery for a raging case of hallux rigidus. My expensive running shoes (complete with orthotics) and trusty Mary Janes were no match for the Dansko Pearl, so they remained in my suitcase throughout the trip. I can't say enough about how much I love this shoe!

A winner for me! I know that some of you don't like the more narrow styles of Dansko but I'm in heaven with those few styles. I tried the Prima and the Tamara and they were both way too wide--like I was a little girl with my feet in my dad's shoes. Not so with the Pearl. #1 It has a great arch support. #2 It is roomy in the toe box even though it doesn't have that squared off toe look. #3 The back strap has just enough elastic in the strap to keep this shoe from not flopping on the back of my heel the way that most wide toe box shoes usually do but not so tight that it squeezes your toes into the front tip of the shoe. I will say that I intend to wear them with socks so that if I was to wear them without socks a size 38 (which is exactly where I usually fall) would be a little loose. But to me that's the beauty of it---it means that for those of you that don't like the more narrow cut you will be fine with no socks. My best advice is if you are a person that needs a high arch and a wide toe box but a much narrower heel then you will definitely find these are the Danskos for you.

Excellent shoes! I ordered my regular Dansko size 36. While I have to order a Narrow in the Professional style, the regular width in this shoe fit me perfectly, from the toe box to the instep to the strap. These are by far my most stylish Danskos, and the fit is just wonderful. I ordered these in the black veg and raisin, and have so far worn them without socks - very comfortably! I plan to wear these mostly to work (on a tile-on-concrete floor, on my feet all day) with pants, skirts/dresses with tights, etc. They really are stylish enough to go with anything. Have also worn them with cropped jeans. My only complaint is not enough colors - especially metallic! Love these shoes!

I've been really frustrated with Dansko lately. The fit is way off and they haven't been comfortable till the Pearl came along...I love this style! It's very cute and comfortable. I've been wearing a 37 or 38 depending on the style however, in the Pearl, 38's fit the best. I wear them with socks and I don't think they look weird at all! I'm going to order another pair since I like them so much!

Good shoe. Less 'clog'y and clunky looking than the professional. Fits narrower feet, particularly narrow heels, much better than the professional but remains roomy. It is better than the Tamara for narrow heels. My feet are 6.5 - 7, the 37 Pearl fit well. I am between size 37 and 38 for the Professional so for those few of you who just can't seem to find the right Dansko fit, try this one. The arch support is a bit high / misplaced for me and it still feels quite heavy / clunky to walk in so I am returning this [like the Professional line]. If you are looking for a less awkward feeling but supportive Dansko with a similar fit /style, try the Tamara which seems to have a lighter sole. Will be keeping the Tamara.

I so wanted to love these Danskos, but they are a bit too stiff in the bunion area. Too bad, the raisin color is perfect. I would love to see this color in other styles.

I am a longtime Dansko wearer and usually wear their Professional clogs. The Pearl is a newer design with a sleeker, narrower toe and a platform that puts more of a "rock" in your step. I really like this shoe, but it felt smaller than expected. This could be because I'm used to the loose fit of the clogs, or maybe these are meant to be worn with tights or bare legs (?) but when I put even a thin dress sock underneath it I felt like I needed to size up. I am exchanging this for a larger size. As for color, the Tan Veg was a bit lighter/brighter than I expected, but the Raisin Veg was a nice, deep brown shade with just a hint of burgundy to it. Very nice!

Great shoes, comfortable, high quality leather, look good but the heavy rubber/polyethylene soul squeaks terribly when you walk on an uncarpeted floor.

Beautiful shoes but the strap is too lose and not enough cushion for heels and arch support. If it only have more cushion and arch support, then it would be perfect shoes.

I love lots about this shoe: the heel height (not too high), the back strap and ease of putting the shoe on, the more tapered front, and the versatility this style gives for wear. I do want to say that I ordered this shoe in my regular size to wear with socks, but also ordered it a half size down to wear without socks. It seemed to run slightly large for me - but I do seem to fluctuate between two sizes in other shoes as well.

You can't go wrong with Dansko. I got these for walking in Paris. I know I won't be disappointed.(with shoes or Paris) I have another pair of sandals I have worn for four seasons.

Very comfortable shoe. The back strap is a little long for me, but it doesn't detract from comfortably wearing the shoes. May buy another pair in different colors. Like the way it looks, too.

LOVE these shoes! I love clogs. I love that I can slip them right on and take off. However, I don't love them when I am walking my son back and forth to school, especially, if I am wearing socks. I find myself trying to grasp the clogs with my toes so that they don't slip off. This causes pain in my shins, like shin splints. So, I was looking for a slip on shoe like a clog, but something that held my foot in it. The Dansko Pearls fit the bill perfectly! They are super cute. I love the color (I got Raisin, which is basically brown, but a pretty brown). And, they hold my foot in! I know I will wear these shoes all of the time. Also, I would go up a half size larger than you normally wear. They run a tad small.

Very comfortable and well made. I have 3 pairs of Dansko's - I love them. This style however was not the "cloggy" look I had hoped for. Looks and feels like a great Dansko, just not for me. I'm returning for an XP Dansko!

Love. These will be my everyday shoes for fall and winter super comfy. I am usually a size 9US. Got the 40. Fit perfectly. Look like a slight heel but feel pretty much flat when on.

These are cute and extremely comfortable. These shoes are the answer to my summer work shoe fashion dilemma. The make my feet happy and they look good with most of my work wardrobe.

Unfortunately the size 42 just arrived & it's too tight at toes so I have to return them, & they don't come in size 43. I loved the style though & will look elsewhere for the 43.

Love them. I have over 20 pairs of Dansko, this one is my favorite. They look good with professional attire and are super 10 hour per day comfortable. These are working girl shoes, that look great and feel great. Pearl was a good fit, a tailored fit. Wish they had more colors.

The pearl is a great shoe! The color is amazing and the style is just a little more modern than the usual Dansko nurse-shoes look (which I rock every other day of the week!). The pointed toe is a bit more cramped than my rounded toe Danskos, but I am willing to suffer it for the great style. I have a narrow foot and am usually a 39 or a 40 depending on style. I wear a 39 in the Pearl.

I usually go for the Dansko clogs but haven't seen any low heel ones that I like. These wear a lot like a clog even though they have the strap at the back. They are extremely comfortable (they're Danskos, after all). And they look professional under slacks for work.

I have always loved Dansko clogs, and these are no exception. I like the more pointy toe look. This is the first time I have had clogs with the back strap; it is very comfortable. The Pearl has the same terrific arch support that Dansko always provides. Fit is true to size.

These are supportive, attractive, and comfortable shoe. They are tall for mules, so be careful if you have any trouble with weak ankles and might wobble. The strap gives, which makes this style work for me; Dansko makes a wide heel that usually slides off the back of my foot, but these straps fit nicely!

I ordered this shoe in one size larger because I wanted to wear ankle socks with them. The shoe fit perfect with nylons, so I would recommend ordering one size larger. Great looking shoe, great arch support. I did return them because I wanted a little lower heal.

I love the fit and look of these shoes! My only complaint is how easily they scuff up on the toes. I ordered the tan and in a week they were scuffed.
