I have owned a very similar pair of Camper boots for many years. It was time for a new pair. These Campers are just as comfortable and I love the simple design. I can stand on my feet all day at work. My only trouble was with the sizing. I normally wear a 38 and the 38 was too small. I had to size up to the 39 and it seems just a little too big.

Design, fit, and craftsmanship are top notch. Worth the price. I am an 8.5 and the 38 was a bit snug in the footbed. I have 15" calves and I could not zip them all the way. However I only need about another 1/2" or so, which surprised me. I'm used to knee high boots not fitting my calves and I've always heard Camper runs small. Wide calf ladies: If you are willing to pay to have them stretched 1/2" to 1" I'd say it's worth it.

I read others' reviews which stated that these ran slim in the calf, but I ordered my normal size. The others were right....they were way too tight in the calves. I exchanged them for the next size up and they fit perfectly and are really comfortable.

OH MY GOODNESS! These are LOVELY! FINALLY a FLAT, sleek, smooth, no frills, WELL MADE, modern boot. Leave it up to the Spaniards to design it. Unfortunately, the calf area is REALLY REALLY NARROW. I am not fat, I am not obese, I'm not chubby - I am fit and my calves are slender and toned - I could not get these to zip over my calf area for the life of me! UGH UGH UGH UGH! Please perfect this design Camper. PLEASE! I wear a 38, ordered both 38 and 39. They actually BOTH felt fine. Not really a HUGE difference in size. 38 was sung, but very comfortable. If you plan on wearing THICK socks, order up to a 39.

These boots are so cute and exactly what I was looking for (a simple, slim fitting knee length boot with no heel and surprisingly hard to find!) but sadly they are just too small. :( I usually wear a 39 but occasionally can fit into a 38 but not with these. They do seem to run a little small. I love that they are pretty snug in the calves. I don't think i have skinny calves, but most boots have that ridiculous puss-n-boots look on me. I wish these fit me in the foot!

I was dilemma-ing over whether to order 38 or 39 (I'm usually a size 7.5 US). I finally ordered 39 based on the previous reviews that the calf was extremely narrow even. I think 39 was a bit too big, although I can still walk in it with reasonable comfort. The calf size is perfect for wearing with tights or hosiery. It didn't feel tight at all. Don't expect to fit in a pair of thick pants or jeans unless you are super slim. For reference I am 5'4, 112 pounds.

These are very nice boots, but they run small. I am returning them, since I am accustomed to the quality leather of Frye boots. I would have tried the next size up, but it was not available.

Wow, I normally wear a 10 and these boots were tiny on me! Returned for an 11 or 41 and still way too small! I love the narrow calves though since most boot companies assume that as your feet get longer your calves get huge! They feel like they would be amazingly comfy in the correct size. Very lovely leather and I am forlorn that they will never work for me...unless they make a 42 someday.

Ordered a size up as per other reviews. Fit fine in the foot but could only zip half up the shaft. Granted, my calves are beefy, but now I'm nervous to order a size up in case the foot area is too big. Such a shame; the simple design is my very favorite.

So disappointed this sexy boots did not work. There is a hard, uncomfortable part that hugs the heel. The width is awesomely narrow- can't imagine this working for most women.

I've worn a similar style camper boot for the past 10 years so was really disappointed to discover that this boot runs small to size. The boots have been purchased in the US and brought back to Australia, so unfortunately I can't change them! The width of the calf section for me could actually have been more slim fit as the previous style was. Still a great boot that I would recommend but only if you have the chance of trying it on in store for fit or postage return.

These are really cute boots and I want to keep them, but they run really small. I always wear a 10-medium. (I'm 5'11") European sizes throw me off, and this one says a 10 = 40. But I was pretty sure I have worn a 41 in EU sizes before and I read another review that said these run small. So I ordered the 41 which the site says is an 11. And they were still really small! There's no way I am a size 12--so just know you need to order about 2 sizes larger to fit in these. No kidding. But they are well made and would be very comfortable if they were long enough. The calf is very slim which is nice. Big sizes often have huge uppers in boots.

Ridiculous. I have worn size 10 in every brand of shoe my whole life. These are at least two sizes too small (like everyone said, wish I had listened!). I went to the camper website so not sure what the deal is. Zappos should look into it. Disappointing because they are really cute and would be great in the right size.
