The footbed and insole was deeply contoured and I actually felt a ridge running between where the ball of the foot and the toes meet. I thought this might be in place to help keep the foot from sliding forward in the shoe, but it was too noticeable for me. The shoe felt very snug, good locking in on the heel cup, and the heavily padded tongue would keep the laces from cutting into the top of the foot, but I just couldn't wear these due to the strange feeling foot bed. I am writing review because I only saw one other review on another site mention this odd feeling in the shoe. The other person said they felt as if they had a small ball underneath the ball of their foot. This is a nice looking shoe for the price, but it is not a premium offering from Nike.

The shoes do not look like the picture. They are more of a hot pink than a red. My son will not wear them, so I am sending them back. Luckily Zappos has an awesome return policy!!

Like so many Nike shoes I have tried in the past, this one is narrower than normal for the size as found in other brands. Nice design, but for me a disappointing fit.

Great shoe within my price range. I play lots of squash and some tennis. This shoes holds my foot firmly as a jump around. Firm, good traction and takes a lot of beating before showing signs of tear. I recommend it. It's wide, which is what I need and I buy one full size larger to make sure my toes don't get crushed. I recommend them.

I've tried a lot of different tennis shoes throughout the years and these are best all around tennis shoe for those with forefoot on the wider side and a healthy natural arch pronation. Like its more expensive (and a bit more narrow) Vapor Tour 9 brother, this light shoe seamlessly bends with with your foot while providing excellent low-to-the-ground feel, stability and comfort on hard stops. You put them on and forget they are even there - exactly what a good shoe is supposed to do for you. Durability wise these are pretty good, though obviously not as durable as the 16oz tanks like Barricades.

These are great for tennis or indoor cycling. Very firm with good traction.

My husband is very pleased with the fit and performance of this tennis shoe. He is very particular about finding a wide shoe with adequate arch support. He has had no complaints as to the fit or ankle support.

Great tennis shoe that holds up to rough hardcourt surfaces. The style reminds me of the old Challenge Court series but with a modern twist. I prefer these over the more expensive Vapor Vapor Tour shoes.

Worn the shoe 6 to 8 times now. It fits nicely. I especially like the broader toe area.

My son plays plays tennis and is very happy with the fit, comfort, stability and traction of these sneakers. He's only worn them for 2 weeks (practices or games every day), so we can't comment on long-term durability, but so far they are holding up well. If they last, they'll be worth the extra money.

The shoes look great if you are a middle aged guy. This is a high performance lightweight tennis shoe. Good for knees with a lot of miles at a great price. Nike put out a shoe that is too good, won't be on the market long.

As someone with a slightly wide foot, I've had a challenging time finding a good tennis shoe that doesn't feel like your wearing cement blocks on your feet. The Nike Vapor Advantage seems to fit the bill. Great support, not too heavy and doesn't squeeze my feet. Quite stylish as well. Highly recommend.

I bought this shoe for my son who plays tennis nearly every day. He was very glad that the shoe came in his size though the colors were limited. It's only been a week, but I think the shoe will hold up to all the running and stopping he does on the courts.

Very comfortable shoes. Spent three weeks in Europe with these on walking tours. Absolutely great, comfortable and just the right style to go with everything. Big fan!

Like these a lot. They are very comfortable and true to size. I tend to have a narrow foot but these fit well. Only con is that they get dirty easily.

Fit seems true to size. Lateral support is okay, but not great. There is pretty good cushion and shock absorption in the foot bed. More leather rather than mesh would probably provide greater stability, although it might cause the shoot to be hotter.

I like the style of the shoe. I switched to these from Adidas because the Adidas have gotten too narrow to wear comfortably. The reviews on these said they were generally wide. I have worn a lot of Nike and found them to be very comfortable, but these were actually very narrow mid-foot, so much so that they hurt my foot almost as much as the Adidas. I am going to wear them for a while and see if they break in and get more comfortable, but for now I would not purchase this style of Nike shoe again.
