We took this coat to (of all places, given the style name of the coat) Stockholm and the Arctic Circle in the middle of winter. Our son remained snug and warm and has been very happy with the coat now that we're back home in NYC. He likes that it's very lightweight and soft, but has a very high "fill power" and keeps him really warm. When he outgrows this one, we'll probably re-buy it in a larger size!

Got this jacket for my son to keep him warm during the harsh NY winters, and it has done just that! It looks great on him, keeps him warm, and handles the beating he gives it everytime he wears it. Great jacket for outdoor activities in cold weather, or just going out during the holidays.

I bought this coat in an XL for my 12 year old son. He wears a size 14 in clothing. The jacket has some room for growing. It is very warm, stylish and he loves it. In his own words, "It's cozy, keeps you warm, and I like that you can detach the hood". This coat is replacing a North Face, and in my opinion it's a better jacket. It's basically like wearing a down comforter. I highly recommend this jacket!

This is a great jacket for kids! Bought the blue in 6/7 for my 6 year old who is probably a little lower than average height. He has room to grow, but it fits fine now also. The quality is fantastic! Super lightweight and warm. It has a snap off hood. Love the versatility of that, but I think it would be better as a zip-off, to avoid any cold air seeping through the spaces between the snaps. I was worried about having a hood velcro closure in the front, but there aren't any issues with it, works fine. The velcro seems to attach pretty lightly, so I am hoping it holds up with use. It seems secure enough, though. I think they probably did that intentionally, to avoid any heavy velcro ripping or snagging the nylon fabric. Overall, we are thrilled with this jacket. It is pricey, but I certainly don't mind paying more for a quality jacket that will hold up to the activity of a 6 year old. Definitely recommend.

I ordered this coat and it looked thin and flimsy. I ended up returning it.
