I've never spent this much for shoes but these shoes are well worth the price. They are so comfortable. I'm a teacher and on my feet all day long. My feet don't feel tired at the end of the day whenever I have these shoes on. Every time I wear them I get compliments. I do, however, have one suggestion. These shoes run about a half size too large so you might want to consider this when placing your order. I wear a size 7 US and ordered a 38. They are a bit too big so a 37 might have been the better choice.

These felt great in the store, but after an hour I had bloody ankles from the straps rubbing. A month later, my ankles are still slightly bruised. Wish I could return them. Loved them, and the footbed is so comfortable. But I'll never wear them again. Hate that I wasted the money.

Love these shoes! I was wary after reading about the reviewer who got bloody ankles from the straps rubbing, as I apparently have sensitive feet since I often experience pain or blisters from rubbing. But these were incredibly comfortable from the first moment I put them on. They've got a feminine wedge that keeps them from looking clunky (my pet peeve); a soft, smooth, molded insole, like Birkenstocks but without the stiff outer edge (doesn't work for me because of my long toes); the adjustable straps make for a perfect fit; and they're truly comfortable (almost never happens for me, especially with any kind of heel). I just walked for hours on the hard sidewalks of Manhattan and my feet didn't hurt! I bought these in chocolate, which are a wonderful distressed brown. I liked them so much that I bought the Boardwalk in black, and the Holiday in camel! I'm also glad these come in large sizes, since I have big feet. I'm technically a 10-1/2, but usually end up having to buy an 11 since few brands make the half size. In European shoes, I usually have to buy a 42, although they're often slightly too big. I guess these run a bit big, because the 41 fits me perfectly. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this shoe. It's so great to find a shoe that is a fashionable as well as extremely comfortable. The toe and ankle straps can be adjusted by velcro which is great because it provides a custom fit. After I bought the first pair, I bought two more in other colors. I am a size 8 1/2 and I bought a 38.

I LOVE this shoe! My foot is very hard to fit, because I have skinny heels, tall arches/insteps, and a wide width. The velcro allows for a custom fit, and I'm now seriously wondering why ALL shoes don't have velcro closures everywhere. The shoe is super-cute and sexy. My only surprise was that the Zappos photos make the grey color look like it has a shiny silvery finish, but it doesn't -- it's just grey. It's still beautiful, but if you're looking for that popular metallic look, you'll be disappointed. I bought this shoe in grey and black and now want to buy them in every available color. I'm REALLY glad I bought this shoe!

I have these in the graphite and Taupe. Every time I wear them people compliment how nice they look and a few have asked for the brand and where to buy them. I am a busy mom of two and I wear these at least 4 out of 7 days a week all day to run around in. Best money I have ever spent on shoes. This will be my second summer and they still look brand new but feel like I have had them forever! If you are on the fence - buy them for sure.

These look really good on and the adjustable straps help with the width. I wish the footbed had more support or wasn't so hard. Hard on the heels, ball and no arch support. I'm going to look into sandal inserts because I really want to keep these.

These are beautiful shoes. I got a dusty watermelon color to match a sundress and they were absolutely perfect. People ALWAYS comment on these shoes. I actually bought a full size smaller - partly because they are oversized and partly because of the open toe. Since I'm not much of a high heel wearer, I don't walk too much in the shoes - they are strictly to wear to an event...but not all day.

Great looking shoe. Very soft leather. I love that you can adjust the strap across the toes. But I don't find these to have as cushy a bottom as some people have said. I stand most of the day and wish there was more cushion in the ball of the foot But I still love them and highly recommend them!

Super comfy and barely need "breaking in." I had a bit of chafing in two places, but we were experiencing a heat wave (less ideal for new shoes). I live in NYC and can walk happily for 20-30 blocks in these sandals. Both the toe and ankle straps consist of adjustable velcro.

Beautiful shoe but very sad the arch does not fit my high arch. There is a gap.

I have wide feet and it is difficult to find sandals that fit (feet hang over sides or too much extra space in length of foot bed for toes). These sandals fit and they are comfortable. I usually prefer flats but needed a little heel. They cost more than I would usually spend on a pair of sandals but they could be worn into the warmer days of fall.

These are the most comfortable shoes ever and are stylish enough to dress up or down. I have these shoes in 3 colors because the Velcro in the toe area assures a perfect fit, especially for those who have problem big toe joints or different size feet. Love these shoes.

Heads up ladies about size. Two years ago I had purchased this style in teal color, size 37 in a store and was able to try on any size. I absolutely loved them. So I ordered from Zappos, as Taos is not available where I live and wanted the grey. Never realizing 37 is actually a 6-6½ which is also on the box. I am 7-7½ really more a 7½ depending on style. I just wanted to pass this information on as 7-7½ is a popular size. I had to check "Felt true to size" because they fit fine! The Velcro tabs are great and so is the quality and comfort is amazing. I always get compliments on the teal and they need to bring back that color!

I love these sandals! I would say they run about a half size too large. I wear a size 8.5/39 in most shoes and ordered the size 39 in these, they were about a half size too big so ordered the 38 and they fit perfect. I haven't actually really worn them yet other than around the house since I ordered them in fall/winter - I just wanted to have them here and ready to go for next spring/summer! The only thing is I have a high arch and I do notice a gap in my arch area when testing them around the house but I feel that my feet & arch will mold in nicely with the high quality footbed with more actual wear. I got them in the Graphite color to go with everything, the color is gorgeous in person, not too "shiny" and can be dressed up or down. Yes, this is the most I have EVER spent on sandals but now I have one pair of very nice sandals that I LOVE instead of spending the same amount of money on several pair that are just o.k. - Highly recommended!

Pretty shoe, a bit high for me. I have a narrow foot and this one works because of the velcro tabs. I am having foot problems and cannot wear this at this time so am returning it. I think it is a bit expensive for the materials although under normal foot conditions, it would be comfortable. I am returning it because I won't get any wear from it this season and not sure if my foot problem will be solved.

Not so much orange, definitely more of a tan. Color does not look like the photo at all. Also run big. I normally take a 39, ordered a 38, and still too big.

I wore these to traipse all over New Orleans for Jazz Fest and they did not let me down. They are super comfortable - almost like Orthopedic level of comfortable, but look cute. I actually got compliments on them!

These are even cuter in person. I am thrilled. I'm taking a trip to NYC where I walk a lot and these may or may not be comfy enough o walk all day. But I will keep them for wearing around town here in LA because they are so cute and reasonably comfy. I have wide feet and these are good, really good.

Very cute and comfortable shoe. Looks great on. But I have very high arches and this does not provide the support I need. The 5 rating is for comfort and style but this would drop to 3 if the arch support was being considered.

Haven't had a chance to really wear these outside the house due to the winter weather, but they feel very comfortable so far and I'm looking forward to wearing them! The color is lighter than picture, more a light grey. I love the big Velcro buttons!

This is one fantastic wedge - comfortable and still supportive. It gives you a little height but is not uncomfortably high. You can get a super custom fit with the hook and loop closure. And it fits true to size!
