I gave these sandals an overall rating of one star due to the fact that they make your feet stink, especially if you have sweaty feet like I do. They are supremely comfortable and saved the day on a recent cruise. My feet swelled like never before and these sandals were the only ones I could wear, again, super comfortable. However, I was horrified that after 7-8 hours of wear, I could smell my own feet! Argh! I cannot take away from style as they go with anything and can be dressed up or down. But be ware if you have feet that sweat. They are supposed to be coated in that anti microbial stuff on the foot bed, but you could not prove it by me. I did wash them (yup, it was that bad), leather upper and all, when I returned home. But I know they will stink again. They did wash well strangely enough. And I do love the comfort!

My feet were happy the minute I put them on. It's hard to combine comfort and style. These are very comfortable flip flops that are dressy (ish). They have good arch support and do not fall off my feet. My feet are wide at the toe knuckles and these were perfect.

The footbed is nicely molded and comfortable. The top leather is very soft. I especially like the fact that the design covers the inner side of the foot with the bunion, which is hard to find.

Pure bliss. I wore these out of the box to an event in an urban neighborhood on a hot summer night. It was love at first sight. My feet were happy - excellent support, very comfortable, no trouble walking blocks in these. I just bought another pair in a different color. It will be hard to buy any other brand of casual sandals now!

I bought this shoe while on vacation in Coronado, CA last summer. It was love at first sight! Have never worn such a comfortable sandal before...and I am very picky about my shoes. So I just purchased another pair in black and am looking forward to more stylish comfort. While it is rather pricey, I probably would have paid more...that is just how unbelievably comfortable they are. This sandal is especially great if you do not like to have your toes bound with straps, etc. I have seriously happy feet! Wish I could have a pair in every color!

I was looking for a comfortable but stylish shoe to wear to work, as I work in an upscale women's designer clothing store in a resort, and have to look stylish and professional at work. This has been a real challenge for me, as over a month ago I broke the little toe on my right foot, and the only footwear I could wear because of my swollen toe were flip flops, which did not give me any support, nor did they look professional. Well, I just opened up the box to my new Taos "Gift" in Bronze, and I fell in love with them, even before I put them on. I have had them on for 2 hours now, and I do not want to take them off, they are so comfortable and great looking. I cannot wait to wear then to work tomorrow. I will order another pair, either the Light Gold, or the Pearl Navy. I must also mention that they do not hurt the big bunion on my big toe either! A true find indeed!

These sandals are the most comfortable I have. I sized up to a size 8 from a 7 because it is a little narrow, and the 8 is perfect. Soft, soft leather, stylish, excellent arch support, and comfortable, even though my toes have been through three surgeries. They stay on well, too. I couldn't ask for more!

Wow! What a find. These shoes are great. They cover up my huge bunions and are comfortable enough to wear all day and night. It's hard for me to find shoes that work. These are a definite. When my feet are happy...I'm happy! I will be ordering in different colors. Thanks Taos and Zappos.

I love this shoe! I was looking for a cute shoe with arch support (I have super duper flat feet) and this shoe is great. It fits snug, so my feet feel very supported. The arch support is great.

I wanted to love these sexy bronze sandals. They are the perfect Look with skinny jeans! But they are cut away over the widest part of the outer edge of the foot. They do not feel anchored by the ball of my foot and it feels like they will fly off my feet. I bet if I did not have freaky-high arches these would be perfect.

I always wear a straight size 10, and although these sandals felt great, my baby toe hung off the side and my heel was right up on the back edge. Assuming an 11 would be too big, I guess I'll just have to pass on these beautiful sandals.

These are absolutely amazing sandals. First, they have arch support, which seems impossible to find in summer sandals. Second, they're cute. Third, they feel like slippers. The leather is buttery soft. I've also got slightly wide feet and these are very forgiving. I don't have bunions, but if you did, you might consider trying these.

This is my 3rd pair of bronze and my 2nd pair of black. Usually wear a 9-1/2 but the 9 fits fine. Will panic if Taos quits making this style. No breaking in required and no rub spots or seams to contend with. Always receive compliments. Looks great with shorts, jeans or maxi dresses. My go-to sandal.

My first pair was blue. They are incredibly comfortable and I still get compliments after 3 years. I have 7 pairs of Taos shoes but these seem to be the pair I pull out.....I admit that I have abused them, gotten them wet and muddy in the garden etc. And they still look pretty darn good. Shortly after I bought the blue sandals I purchased two more pairs, I wanted to make sure that I had other pairs when they were discontinued. I don't like to look "real fussy" and didn't know if I would like the light gold color. They are great. And the sandals don't slip around on your foot like "flip flops". I'm suppose to wear closed shoes with an insert but for me these work great and don't have foot pain. The description says they are butter soft and they are. After some time the shoe bed molds to your foot.

LOVE these sandals. The color is very unique - a muted bronze/gold which matches everything. Similar to another reviewer, I was looking for a sandal which covered an ugly bunion. More importantly, these were very comfortable right out of the box - some of the best support I've seen in a sandal. I wore it on some of the hottest days of summer and didn't have any issues with odor that another reviewer stated. I'll definitely buy Taos sandals again in the future

I rarely write reviews simply because I am too lazy to do so. But I do buy shoes based on reviews. So, I thank all of you who take the time to write reviews and help me make my choices! With that, I am writing about this shoe because it is the most comfortable sandal I have ever put my feet in. I bought them in both colors since they were on sale and I am very pleased that I did. I have slightly wider feet with bunions. These sandals hide the bunions and at the same time have enough give that doesn't stretch the leather. KUDOS Taos for making a great casual sandal.

These sandals are comfortable right out of the box - no "breaking in" period required. Unlike other sandals I've worn, these have some arch support which is a plus.

Very nice looking shoe. Unlike some other styles, not for narrow feet; won't be able to walk long distances, but will look good for informal gatherings.

I needed a sandal that would give me adequate support without rubbing too hard on my little bunions. I have nightmares about straps hitting the wrong spot and aggravating my nerves! But this shoe is like a slipper. the leather top is absolutely gorgeous but keeps my whole foot in place and doesn't rub the nerve! It isn't really my style but I am finding it growing on me... i love it with black trousers and with jeans. I highly recommend this sandal for those of you like me who have bunions or baby bunions to hide, but more importantly, want to avoid aggravating those sensitive nerves around your foot bones. I hope Taos never stops making these.

This is my third pair of these beautiful sandals. They are soft and very unique in styling. I hope they do not discontinue this line and incorporate new colors (I personally would love a soft pearl pink). Your site was the only one that had my size (8). Thanks for carrying this product.

A beautiful sandal with butter soft leather, comfy between the toes, and nice support. Alas, the size 8 was just a tad short for me although the width was good, but my foot swims in the size 9. Sad that there are no half sizes.

This is the third pair of this style of sandal that I have purchased. They are amazingly comfortable.
