I took three pair of sandals to Italy in August and these were the best! Wonderful while walking up to ten miles a day and over 100 degrees. If you are going to be in hot, hot weather, do not buy a smooth leather foot bed. These sandals have a suede foot bed and they were perfect! Love the velcro closure. So comfortable and good looking!

The Taos Trophy is an extremely comfortable sandal. I absolutely love it and plan to order other colors. I got this in black, size 10M. The fact that these are adjustable across the widest part of the foot is a huge plus. For comparison purposes, let me say that I cannot wear Nike sneakers because they run too narrow for me. The Taos Trophy was perfect in the width out of the box. Ladies who have a true medium or more narrow foot could adjust the width easily for their comfort. According to my podiatrist I have an extremely high instep/arch, and these do provide excellent support compared to many other brands I have tried. No shoe that I have tried gives me total arch support, but these come close. I love where the strap nearest your toes hits, because I do have a long foot and long toes, and that strap hides some of the toe area making the foot actually look sort of cute...no small feat for my size 10 feet. Highly recommend!

I've never felt the need to review a shoe before. But after my experience with these sandals, I am compelled to sing their praises. After wearing them to work for a quick, one-day break-in, I wore these sandals for three straight days at Disneyland. We spent between twelve and sixteen hours at the park each day, and these sandals were absolutely incredible. Not one blister, not one sore spot, not a single moment of discomfort. I've never had a pair of shoes that performed like these sandals, including my hiking boots. I can't recommend them highly enough. Well-made, cute, and extremely comfortable. Taos Footwear has won a customer for life, and I will definitely be purchasing more shoes from this company. Wow!

Great shoes! Bought them right before going on a month-long trip to Europe, and I needed something really comfortable to walk around in but that also looked good with dresses, skirts, and pants. These did the job! The fabric of the sole absorbs moisture so your feet never get sweaty, they're light, breathable, and contour feet nicely! My feet still got tired and achy but I think it was because I was doing a lot more walking than usual. Highly recommend!

Love this sandal! It's very cute & light & I like that the velcro straps are less noticeable than on the Naots sandals. I usually order a 7.5 so tried an 8/39. Its too big and that is the only reason this is being returned.Haven't worn Taos brand before so, wasn't sure of their sizing.

I wear a size 7½ and have somewhat flat feet, regular (medium) width and size 7 was the best size for me. In detail: size 8 was probably the best length but the foot pad was a bit too wide. Size 7 was just long enough for my feet (there are just a few millimeters to spare at the top) but the width was perfect and my foot felt more supported and secure. One additional note about the fit: the footpad is molded subtly in the shape of a foot including inner and outer arch support; it also is raised so there is a subtle line between the big and second toe, and between the ball of the foot and base of the toes. For me, my foot does not lie correctly within the impression such that the raised part is under the top of the ball of my foot instead of between the ball and toes. The ability to adjust one of the top two straps and the ankle strap made it possible to eliminate any gaps which is not possible for me with most sandals. I also like that the straps are styled in such a way that they do not appear to have Velcro underneath making the sandals so much cuter and stylish. I do not think that there is such a thing as a perfect fit for my feet - these sandals are about as close as it gets and I am happy to have found them.

Very comfortable. I wore these walking 78 miles in Europe in a 10 day period of time, during the hot summer months, including some rainy days, and my feet were never tired. They are very durable as well. If they ever feel uncomfortable at all while walking, just re-adjust the velcro and wallah! Problem fixed! I'm not sure I was winning any beauty contests with them, but they were cute enough with my dresses and capris during the day. They are worth the investment.

I highly recommend these! Got the Vintage Blue which is actually a nice medium-dark gray. I normally wear 8.5 or 9 in sandals, depending on the style. Got these in 9 and they look great and are really comfortable! I have very high arches and a hard time finding sandals that fit right - especially T-straps. The top strap near my ankle only reaches halfway on the Velcro closure but is secure, and everything is exactly the same gray color so it's not very noticeable. The sueded footbed is so nice and I also love the little bit of padding on the inside of the heel strap.

I was looking for a pair of comfortable sandals that was also somewhat fashionable. At age 48, I need some arch support and comfort if I'm going to be on my feet for several hours at a time. But, I'm just not ready to go for the full-on senior citizen look yet (no disrespect intended to my elders!). The Tory Burch sandals, while cute, let's face it, are not all that comfortable for more than a couple hours at a time. I'm afraid I'm going to have to leave those with my 20 year old daughter. The Birkenstocks I bought from Zappos last year still don't fit me right so I wear them infrequently. I have lots of cute flip flops but wanted something with more of a sandal look. Enter these. I bought them just sure they'd arrive and I'd put them on, only to take them off because they made me feel too aged. But to my delight, that was not to be!! Not only are they much cuter on than the pictures would indicate, they are extremely comfortable on, right out of the box!! I got two colors and can't wait to wear them out. I am between a 7.5 and 8 in most shoes - got the 8 in these and it is perfect.

I will be traveling in Italy late this summer and am on the hunt for a pair of sandals I can wear with dresses and walk miles. I have a wide foot and need arch support. I have ordered about 15 pairs of Sandals from various sites and decided to order these due to the 5 star rating. This is the first pair I have tried on that meets all my criteria: wide width, arch support, and cute. I wish they were just a tad more fashionable looking, but at this point, I'll settle. They are so comfortable right out of the box. The trouble I've been having with other expensive sandals is that although they meet the criteria I have set, there is something on the sandal and rubs my feet wrong, and I know wouldn't last 1/2 mile. This is as perfect as I can find, so will keep. Just so hard to believe I"m paying this price for a sandal...but if I can walk miles it's worth it!

I was looking for a more stylish neutral colored walking sandal than the Clarks Morse Tour I took to Italy last war (which were incredible in comfort...but not very stylish). These are really cute. They don't look like walking sandals, and aren't doudy looking. It seems that's the eternal challenge, something comfy to walk miles, but cute with dresses. I was hesitant about the vintage silver color, but it's beautiful. It's not too shiny silver, and has a mixture of another color thtoughout, I've not seen a sandal like this begore in that color and it's very pretty. I can wear silver or gold, and it will match. I can't wear flats anymore when I need to tour, and don't like walking sneakers if I want to put on a dress or skirt when doing so. As far as comfort....wow! I am a wide width and they were comfortable right out of the box. I don't know if they would work with a narrow, but they should with a medium because of the Velcro. I have plantar fasciitis, and there is arch support in them. I currently own the Taos Party in black that I took to Italy last year. In truth, I could only walk about 3 or 4 miles in those, and then my arches did ache if more after that, at the end of the day. The Clarks had padding, and my feet didn't hurt after 8 to 10 miles. I'm going on a trip that I'll be walking about 3 miles or so. These sandals actually have more padding than the Taos Party, so I have high hopes they'll be great for longer distances. I cringed at the price and decided if I didn't truly like them in any way whatsoever, I would return! But I went ahead and threw away the box as they are keepers! Neutral with a little pizazz!

These sandals are great! I've worn them through France and Spain, walking a zillion miles, every day for nearly 3 weeks. No blisters, no pain, felt great straight out of the box. Lots of compliments!

Ordered Taos Trophy sandals in Black, 8 M. My feet are slightly wider than medium at the front with a narrow heel and a high instep. My foot length is between 8 and 8.5. Although the sandals would have been a good fit for my feet, the strap over the instep reached only half way across the Velcro strip, which rendered the sandals unusable. I returned them.

Big fan! I have these sandals in black, white, green, blue and just purchased pewter. I love the simple T strap style. They are comfortable enough to walk for several miles comfortably unlike all other sandals that I have tried (although I do appreciate Vionics). Great for travel and summer fun!

I bought these for a four day trip to Disneyworld in 85+ degree weather. The first day, I chickened out and wore my ASICS kayanos. The second day, I wore these and never went back. They were extremely comfortable, very stable on uneven ground, very easy to run after kids in. I saw three other moms with these and we kind of gave each other “the nod.”

I love these shoes. They are stylish, and go with dresses, shorts and long pants. My only complaint is that the arch is not high enough, causing pain across the metatarsal area. I will wear them around the house for several more days, to see if they become more comfortable. I wear 8 1/2 med, but the 8 fits me very well. I purchased a pair of Rockport Cobb Hill (Hannah), which have a bit too much bling for me, but was told by the phone representative that they gave great arch support, so will try them, when they arrive, and make up my mind, .

I love these sandals! They are quite comfortable on my feet all day long, and they look cute with anything. I can stand for long periods comfortably. I can't walk a long distance comfortably; my feet need more support for that. I like how adjustable the straps are, and the cushioning across the back of the heel. I should note that after I've worn them most days for two summers, one of the velcro strap closings is pulling loose from the stitches that sewed it in place.

I wore these on a trip to France in August. They were extremely comfortable, offering just enough support and cushioning to handle cobblestones and lines without being bulky. The light stitching leaves them on the casual side, but they're not frumpy. I normally wear a size 10.5 or 11 in a lot of shoes, but a 10 was perfect.

Very comfortable sueded footbed, adjustable straps, except for the first one across the toes. That strap seems pretty loose so it's not constrictive for me, but I guess it depends on the foot. I am a B-C width, For very long walks of 4+ miles or so, I think the sole might feel a little hard. There is no sponginess to the footbed as there is in Sketchers for instance.

At last fun, red sandals that fit my wide feet. I wear an 8W sometimes even a WW and these fit perfectly. I went to the mall to make sure and walked for an hour and did not even think about the shoes. Thank you, Taos, for getting that that woman with wide feet also like to feel feminine and wear something besides clunky shoes.

This is a great, comfortable little shoe. It only comes in full sizes (no half sizes). Thanks to another reviewer I was able to order the correct size. I'm normally a 6.5 and ordered a 6. I'm fine with it. Not sure I couldn't have ordered a 7 and been okay too. The velcro straps across the toes and the ball of the foot enable you to tighten or loosen the width. The support and sole of the shoe provide for more comfort than I was expecting. I would definitely recommend this shoe.

I really like these sandals. I needed navy blue and these are a nice color. I wore them a lot all summer and they were comfortable and stylish. I have lots of trouble with my feet (I am recovering from foot surgery as I write this) and it is hard to find stylish shoes that do not look like orthopedic shoes. These are adjustable for my wide instep and have a very comfortable insole.

These are the most expensive sandals I've ever bought, but I must say, they are super comfortable right out of the box. They look cute, and are dressy enough to wear with skirts. All 3 straps are adjustable, although I prefer a bit of room around the toes, so I only tightened the ankle strap. The footbed is supportive but also soft/flexible. The color is a rich brown+copper, very close to the photo. No complaints.

These are the best sandals I've ever owned, and I am picky. I usually buy sensible shoes like Keens. I got these because they are a little bit dressier and they look great with a skirt or capris. I bought a pair three years ago and they still look presentable and are as sturdy as ever. I walked all over Europe in them, and they are comfortable for my mile walk i to work. I have high arches and wide-ish feet and these sandals have never given me any blisters or sore feet. Highly recommended!
