I love Karen Kane dresses. I am 5'5" and 154 (size 12) and this fits well. Will be a comfortable, cute dress for work.

Medium fit well, I am 5'5", 145# The dress just looked frumpy on me.

I love this LBD. Perfect to dress-up or just casual. It’s a littl heavier weight for summer but fir nights it’s perfect.

Love this dress! It is plain, but incredibly practical. You can machine wash and dry it, ball it up in a suitcase, and then wear it to dinner. Perfect for travel. It's also flattering. You definitely want a necklace or something though. Order your true size, it's not the same sizing as the Cascade wrap dresses where I usually go down a size.

Very nice dress. I had to get an XL when I usually wear a L, but am glad I did since the material is the kind that can show your lumps and bumps, but not too badly and the color is black. Nicely made, comes to the right place on my legs and I plan to wear it with black leggings and a fabulous long necklace.

Love it. I’m 5’8” and it hits a few inches above the knee which is what I wanted. I plan to wear tights or leggings with it. It’s very comfortable.

Karen Kane makes wonderful knit dresses. The fabric has good weight and the fit is flattering. They run on the small side. I wear a small in some brands (FIG, Horny Toad, Kamali) but take a medium in KK.

I was hoping, since I'm 5'3", that the dress would fall below the knee. nope--it hit right above my knee in a most unflattering way. also, you can't really tell from the photo, but there is a seam around the scoop neck that I was not expecting. makes the dress much more casual than what I wanted.

This dress is just too big and swingy for me. I am a size 8 and ordered a medium. It might have worked if I'd gone down to a size small. The fabric was a nice and soft and the neckline was nice. But in the photos it looks like it skims the figure and this seemed to have a ton of excess fabric everywhere. Just not the right dress for me.

I wish I could agree with all the previous reviewers but this dress was a complete disappointment for me. Having worn Karen Kane dresses before, I eagerly ordered a medium since this seemed like the perfect dress - simple, unadorned, great for traveling. The medium arrived. It was too tight allowing every bump to show. I exchanged it for a large which promptly went back since it fit exactly the same way. Ever hopeful, I exchanged it again for the extra large (totally depressing but I so wanted a dress like this). It arrived yesterday. Anyone who is reading this probably knows the result. Yup, the extra large fit exactly like its predecessors. I am 5' tall and a size 12. Obviously, I am not a petite 5 footer but I am not a little barrel either. And why was there no difference in the fit ? I own quite a few jersey/rayon/lycra dresses and a size 8 in any of them would not fit the way a size 14 would. The search goes on.

Perfect everyday dress. Worn to work, evening, sophisticated dress.

The only reason I returned it was it was to long. Beautiful well made dress, very nice material.

Just what I was looking for - medium-weight fabric, very flattering. I'm 5'5", 150lbs, size 10-12 usually, and the large fits well. I have large upper arms and the sleeves on the Large fit!

Thicker quality material, when I'm standing outside in the sun you can't see through me. This is a classic staple dress with again I can't say enough how great the material is! Very flattering!

This is a great dress - very well made. However, it is heavy for summer wear and a little shorter than I like to wear - was hoping that it would be a little past knee. Really torn about sending it back because fit through middle is so good.

This is the perfect casual little black dress. It travels well and can be dressed up or down depending on where you are going. Love it! Just wish it came in more colors.

Soft, thick fabric. I'm adding a diamond pendant & wearing this to a semi-formal event. I'm 5'7", 120 lbs. and the XS fits perfectly.

Flattering line for larger hips. Fabric is nice but not fancy. Just to the mid knee length on 5'5". Could be dressed up or down...all around basic black dress. Bought five, only kept this one.

So cute! I ordered this dress in an XL because I have a little extra in the middle and it fits beautifully. I would say this dress runs true to size. The drape of the dress is VERY flattering. The material is heavy enough to feel luxurious. I would definitely recommend!

What a great find! This dress is beautiful! It's a perfect fit, not too clingy and very modest. Will go great dressed up with tall boots or heels, or dressed down with flats. It's also super comfortable so you could wear it all day!

This is a great dress! So well made, not flimsy at all. I am a little chubby at the moment and it is still a flattering dress, especially with tights, boots, and a longer sleeveless, thin cardigan. Love it!

Love this dress! It's thick material is comfortable and forgiving, as well as flattering! I am 5'7" and the length is appropriate for work - it falls just above the knee. The scoop neck is also super cute. An instant classic!
