Customer Reviews Wolford Jamaika String Bodysuit

I am a longtime Wolford devotee (discovered the brand while living in Europe many years ago). I've got many, many bodysuits (and other things) from this brand. This one is really nice under dresses or tops for more comfortable coverage than a bra (great under sheer tops). However, unlike a lot of bodysuits (Spanx, La Perla, and many other Wolfords) this particular style is not shapewear (although the nice tight knit fabric holds you in a little) so it's very comfortable and easy on and off. I can wear this all day and all night without even noticing it, unlike shapewear bodysuits, which by the time you get home you are dying to take off! Easy care, just hand wash and hang or lay flat to dry. I've even put this one in the dryer and it came out fine. I wear XS in Wolford and am 5'5' and 115lbs. I am so glad Zappos has Wolford as I love them both!

Runs big! I don't see it listed anywhere on Zappos, but on the bodysuit's packaging, the sizing is: XS: sizes 4-6 S: 8-10 M: 12-14 L: 16-18 XL: 18-20 Had I not known this, I would have ordered the totally wrong size. Otherwise, this bodysuit is amazing! super soft and comfortable, the black is not sheer at all. Highly recommend!

Was excited to receive this item but found the fabric, which is a cotton blend, to be rough. Maybe the fabric would soften in time, maybe not. $200 is too much to pay for rough fabric. Returning. On the plus side, the design is perfect, the packaging is beautiful & the fit is not bad. I ordered a size Small after reading the other Reviews & seeing the Wolford Size Chart. I'm 5'8" 135lbs & ordinarily order bodysuits in size Large to insure a non-binding fit. For the record, I've been looking for a stretchy microfiber or lycra-spandex scoop neck bodysuit for several years. The ones I have are still hainging in there but it's time to replace, however, it's virtually impossible to find these. Most are non-stretch nylon (tough leotard-type fabric) or are constrictive shapewear. I wear mine as an added layer of clothing.
