These boots are adorable and we get tons of compliments. I love the versatility of being able to put them over shoes or wear as snow boots with the liners. But they really do not hold up on a walking child. After just a few uses the very thin plastic soles started coming apart at the seems and shortly after wore holes. And honestly looking at them and the kind of material on the soles how can I expect anything else. Of course they are going to fall apart virtually immediately. Still as boots they really do not do much more than look awfully cute. Probably perfect for a non-walker...who really does not need boots.

Love these little boots. Purchased them for my 11 month old for the cold winter months. We baby-wear mostly and his little feet stick out so I thought he should have some extra protection from the winter weather. Every time we wear these out in public, we get someone commenting how neat/unique/genius the design is. I really like I can open the cords all the way to fit his foot in all the way, and then close them tightly. They stay on perfectly. My son isn't walking yet so I don't know how they will hold up to a toddler, but they have a rubber bottom so I think they should be just fine. I don't know how warm they are as winter has just begun but my sons feet come out toasty each time. These are so great! I would recommend.

These boots were a lifesaver for us. Our 2 year old broke his leg in the middle of an Iowa winter. These worked wonderfully to keep his feet warm and dry. They fit over his cast and the traction on the bottom was enough to keep him from slipping outside or inside on our polished wood floors. I debated buying them last winter before he could walk well (or had a broken leg) and now I wish I would have. Would have been great on cold mornings in the stroller, in the snow, or inside!

I wanted to update my review to be fair. After I had the issue with the booties gripper breaking Zappos contacted me on behalf on Stonz and sent me a new pair of booties for free. I didn't have any further issues with them for the rest of the season and got so many compliments on how cute they are. I would highly recommend these to families with small children. So much easier than trying to get traditional boots on little feet. Extremely pleased with the customer service as well!

These are great and made seemingly well. Though, BE WARNED, they are not waterPROOF by any means. Puddles are no match for these things, and the insides get soaked and are not quick to dry. Large fits ours from 16-18 months so far.

These are only appropriate for non walking babies. They were fine keeping their feet warm and dry when they were just sitting in a stroller, but for walkers they are totally useless. They don't fit over shoes properly (as advertised) and take in water horribly and hold onto it. When I discovered that they'd do nothing to keep my kids' feet dry with them just wearing socks, I tried using them over their shoes and their shoes were soaked to the core as well. Based on the advertising of children walking in the snow, I really thought these were going to be great for my kids, but I hardly needed them before they started walking, and now that they are walkers they are just expensive decoration. So disappointed.
