I am so disappointed. The reviews looked good for these shoes. I have high arches and tend to under-pronate, so I went ahead and got them. Wrong choice. After wearing them for a month, I have so much pain in my arches after running that I am having to take recovery days more often. I am stuck with them now since I wore them and you can only return shoes unworn. I guess I just have to deal with the pain or stop running. Thanks a lot, Nike. I should have switched brands and gone with Mizunos or Asics. These shoes also feel bigger than they should be. They feel so loose on my heel and I don't have narrow feet. AND the threads are coming loose. I only run on the treadmill so it isn't like I am rough on them or anything. Don't buy these if you have high arches. Just don't.

After trying several NB athletic shoes locally and with Zappos I stumbled on this Nike Flex 2013 Run shoe in the black/pink locally. You can't imagine the number of shoes I have tried with 3/4 orthotics, having bunions, neuromas and bent toes. This shoe felt right the moment I put it on, works for my narrow heels yet lets my toes spread. It isn't overly padded at the heel like so many NB shoes. It is light weight, cushy and roomy in the toes and I am experiencing no pain with my Theta Orthotics and this shoe. It is also quite cute!! It has some arch support but I require more. The shoe liner works great over the orthotic; it has the flange at the arch area to fully cover the orthotic. Unless you have orthotics that are full length to replace the liner this is an important consideration. I was so happy to find these shoes and now I am getting ready to buy other colors. FINALLY I am able to keep a pair of shoes from Zappos. THANK YOU Zappos!

For someone with plantar fasciitis and heel spurs, these shoes have saved the day. So comfortable with just the right support. Highly recommend them.

I bought a pair of Nike Flex's earlier this year (May or June?) and they are just about to the point where I am thinking about replacing them. I have logged roughly 10 miles a week, mostly outside. So these shoes have seen 300-ish miles if you include cross-training. I'm expecting a new pair of Flex's under the Christmas tree. :) Curious to see how much the shoe has broken down in comparison to the new ones, know if I can keep the current ones in rotation. What I like about these shoes: -Wide-toe box with a heel narrow enough to not feel like it's slipping (hard to find!) -Low-heel helps my mid-strike (if I could show you a picture of the bottom of the shoe--- all the wear is right across the ball of my foot) but somehow all those flex grooves or something make me feel like I'm running on air -There is this little bubble of cushion under the laces, and it keeps the pressure off the top of my foot--- awesome, because I have an issue with foot numbness with lots of other brands -My foot is fairly neutral, and I think when I first bought these I described them to my husband as feeling like a hug for my feet. Just enough support in all the right places, without feeling constricted or floppy. The style of mine right now are black and white, but I like all the color combination too! What these shoes aren't: Trail shoes: I would definitely stick to smooth surfaces in these-- someone else mentioned pebbles, and the same happens with me. I found an acorn stuck in the groove at the gym when I was stretching! And I could totally see how a piece of wood could puncture these.

Decided to give this shoe a go and am very pleased. These are incredibly comfortable and I love the colors! Also fit true to size. I am usually a 7 1/2 in shoe size but for the Nike Free series I'm size 8. The 7 1/2 in the Flex Run 2013 is perfect for me. Am even thinking of buying another pair in another color because I love these so much!

I have wide, flat feet and never thought that I could wear Nikes because they are usually too narrow. These are surprisingly comfortable - not too narrow or too wide. I love how lightweight and not clunky they are. I was anticipating that they may feel tight after working out but they feel amazing and do not pinch my feet which I really appreciate!

I can't get over how much I love these shoes! They are so comfortable and lightweight! This is my second pair so I am definitely a fan. I normally wear a 10 but got a 9.5 because they seem to run a little large and it might be because they are a little wider. They have good arch support. I have really high arches and these don't hurt my feet at all! I also get ingrown toenails a lot (have to thank genetics for that) and these shoes don't bother them when they flare up (gross I know but there has to be someone else out there that knows what I mean!). Seriously buy these shoes-plus if they don't fit Zappos is awesome with returns!

One of the most comfortable workout shoes I have ever tried on my feet! They provide really good support and are lightweight. Love the design too. Ordered a half size down from what I normally wear, based on other people's reviews, and they fit perfect.

Best part of these shoes is the the wide toe. I have problems finding workout shoes that don't scrunch in that area and cause my toes to go numb. The fit is very comfortable and so many great colors! The white tab on the toe sole bugs me but otherwise they're great.

These are my favorite running shoes. I have fractured my pinkie toes a few times (clumsy..!) and had a hard time finding a sneaker that didn't irritate my toes. These are perfect!

Bought these shoes after trying on 10 other pairs, these were the most comfortable and have served me extremely well. No problems so far, and I love that they have a splash of color without getting too crazy, like a lot of other running shoes.

These gym shoes are great, very cushy and comfortable.I wear them for step class.I have wide feet and these fit well. I just wish the bottom sides were dark not white like my old pair.

Zappos was the only place I could locate this 2013 by Nike. The service was excellent. I am very pleased with the quality of the shoes. I bought two pair.

So comfy - I could run for miles. For some reason these shoes seem like they don't have much support, but yet I never have any foot issues no matter how long or how far I run. Fit true to size. Super cute colors - they go with all my workout clothes.

Right out of the box these sneakers performed! I ran 3 miles and had my best time! I've continued wearing them for a few weeks and they are holding up well. No complaints!

I love these shoes! They are light-as-a-feather and don't hurt my feet even after hours on them. I usually have a hard time staying on my feet for long periods of time, but not when I wear these!

I love these sneakers! Both my daughter and I have them in different colors. So comfortable and they really hold up well. This is a great color combination.

These shoes are perfect for a workout at the gym and running on a treadmill. I normally wear size 9.5 in Nike, which is the size I ordered...perfect! These shoes do not hurt my feet at all. I previously purchased the Nike Free 5.0 V4 and they were killing my feet after my feet swelled up during a run on the treadmill. Remember, shoes fit differently after running. They ran way too narrow. These were the perfect alternative/ replacement. The front of the sneaker is wider and the soft material allows my feet to breathe, as well as make the shoe more flexible. These should not be used outdoors, as debris will get stuck underneath, unless you live in a city with concrete everywhere. I am super pleased with my purchase.

These shoes are so light and comfortable. I've run in them outside several times without any problems. They are really cute and true to size.

Love these shoes... they are from 2013 but I didn't care. Very light and comfortable - which I like. I LOVE the pink color. Would buy again.

I have been very happy with these shoes. They are light, comfortable and stylish. That is what I was looking for.

I have very high arches and over stretched ligaments. I have custom orthotics to support the arch and these sneakers house the orthotic very well. My heel is narrow and the front is wide and the toe box is on the boxy side, making this style great for my feet. These sneakers are so flexible and comfortable that I have multiple pairs to wear when I'm not running. I wish this exact 2013 flex was more readily available. The 2014 flex is completely different.

Love these shoes! I just got them and wore them for the first time to a Zumba class tonight and they were perfect - comfortable, flexible, breathable and supportive! And super stylish in the pink color.

Best pair of sneakers I've ever bought. I had purchased these the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer walk that I did last year. It was a 2-day, 39 mile walk and aside from the sore leg muscles, these shoes did my feet good. Great price for the quality and comfort too.
