I bought these for my mother who needs a very comfortable shoe and adjustable straps. These shoes fit her perfectly. She is extremely pleased.

These are the most awesome sandals. They are incredibly comfortable (all Joseph Seibel shoes are). I am 80 years old and know a great deal about comfortable shoes! Zappos has the most extraordinary customer service. Prompt with free shipping and painless return policy. The best! Thank you, Zappos.

I felt that this was wonderful shoe (I sort of kept it for a spare as I am wearing it until I get the right size) - the size is off by half a size per Zappos' chart (i.e., it is a shoe size too large).

This is an excellent shoe -- well made and very comfortable I thank the Zappos company for carrying them in their stock as I could no longer find it in a local department store. It came only in med. width but had I ordered a wide they would have been too wide. Love the velcro straps -- wonderful if you get a foot swelling.

A while back I had a situation in which every pair of shoes in my closet promised to hurt my problem foot one way or another. I suddenly remembered my Seibel sandals which I hadn't yet gotten out for summer wear. Thank goodness! These great shoes offer both comfort and support in a way you would not expect sandals to do. They are very well made, sturdy and, with Velcro straps, easy to get on and to adjust to your foot's particular needs. I think they are much better looking "in the flesh" than in the pictures. I learned from the reviews, thankfully, that they run large and I needed a European size 38 instead of the 39 which I usually take. I expect to get them in all colors so that I'm not caught with no shoes to wear again! A really good buy.

Finally, a shoe that fits my problem feet! I have bunions and tend to have plantar fasciitis. The leather is pliable enough that it is gentle on my feet. They have comfortable foot bed with some arch support. I usually wear a 9, but sent these back and got an 8. They are rather stylish compared to most comfort shoes. Love these!

I love these shoes! I found these accidentally while stranded in Chicago with blisters from my other shoes. They are extremely comfortable for walking. I have rather large wide feet and in these I do not need wide size. The adjustable straps are helpful.

These are wonderfully comfortable and the adjustable straps work well, and they are true to size. I wasn't crazy about the gold stitching, so got a blue sharpie pen and eliminated the gold. They look great and I'm very pleased.

I ordered 3 other navy blue sandals hoping that at least one would work. My favorites (Clarks and Born) were too small and the leather was too tough. Then I tried these sandals, my first Josef Seibel's. The sole was very cushioned and so comfortable. The leather straps were very soft and pliable. I ended up wearing them all day the first day because I ended up taking someone to the ER and my feet were so happy at the end of the day. Love them!

Order delivered in very short time. After receiving, I decided wanted to exchange for different color. Again, this was done quickly, efficiently and without a hitch. I would not hesitate to place future orders with Zappos.

Another Josef Seibel shoe that's comfortable and provides really good support to flat feet. I have many styles of Seibel shoes and they all last and last. Although they are fairly expensive on my budget, the value you get is worth every penny!

The only reason that I returned these was that they were too big. I usually wear a size 36 or 37,the 37 were too big. Also the strap in the back does not adjust which I did not know.

I like the way these look, and the velcro closure is always important to me because I have somewhat narrow feet. But the back strap does not have velcro, and this is the deal-breaker for me. I just could not get a good fit because of that. If I tightened the front and middle straps such that my foot was secured in the shoe, my foot was not centered front-to-back, but was instead pushed toward the back of the shoe. The footbed was pretty much the right size, so sizing down would not have helped. Sadly, these are going back.

Josef Seibel Debra 02 was impressive when I put the right sandal on - then the left sandal - the additional leather on the back strap hit my ankle bone. Bummer as these are well made and very comfortable - Loved them but the defect is in my ankle, I guess. If I owned the Josef Seibel Company I would eliminate that additional piece on the back strap. I see no use for it. Cheers to Zappos for their great service. And to UPS for their great service.

The Josef Seibel Debra is a beautiful shoe, but the stitching in the heel bed rubs uncomfortably, and there is a big hard ridge where the foot bed and the leather around the heel meet. Very uncomfortable.

This shoe has the same soft leather and comfortable footbed as my old Seibel sandals, but the back strap, does not meet the back of may ankle: so sorry!

Wonderful shoe, I have 2 other colors. However, quality seems to have gone down and one shoe is 1/2 inch larger than the other.

Doesn't fit as well as original Debra, and not as well made. Materials are stiffer and padding less comfy.

These shoes are very pretty, but as much as I have tried to break them in with socks, they are still not comfortable. I try to loosen the Velcro, but when I finally get them comfortable enough to wear without socks...ouch, still hurt feet. Won't buy Josef Seibel again.

I wanted these sandals, I wanted them badly (in red.) OK they arrived. When I put them on look was odd: from above it looks like front of the sandal is same width as they are at heel area. Hm. Next is comfort. Try as much as I could to loosen Velcro straps I couldn't have them to be comfortable around my ankles. Back straps dug into my Achilles tendons and sides dug under my ankle bones. It is so upsetting. Years ago I had Josef Seibel Fisherman's sandals, I wore them to disintegration. They were supremely comfortable. These ones went back to Zappos.

I have worn this shoe for years & have it in 4 colors. Needed to replace the brown ones. Disappointed to find the shoes that arrived today aren't like any of the others. This one doesn't fit anywhere on my foot.

The Debra 01 fit perfectly and has lasted for several years. However, the new 02 design has a wider and higher back strap and cuts into my ankle. A real shame as this was a great product.
