I had high hopes for this simple slip as it seems perfect for the bodycon dresses in my closet, but commando seems to be the better option. I would have preferred if the fabric were slick so an outer garment would slide over rather than cling to the slip. A cotton or rayon jersey dress on top of this doesn't work very well due to the cling factor. This is basically a long seamless cami top. I'm 5'8, 34A 26 36 and this fits fine, plenty of length and it does not ride up. I hope the straps and top seaming will soften with wash. Keeping the black one since I already wore it, but sending back the ivory and still looking.

This slip is really great. It is very tight. I like that, because it does not make folds under your clothes. I was happy because my back and waist are a full size smaller than my chest and hips. This did not have any pulling or gaping associated with my body shape. It does not ride up when I walk. I wish Zappos had a lot more colors, but I found more at the Free People site. For reference, I wear a 4-6 and the S/M worked very well.

I know that people did not like this. But I'm only 5 feet and about 110 pounds. Slip stayed where was supposed to stay. If it's under a very formfitting dress or see threw dress it just keeps lines away. But it's not a Spanx. I happen to love it, so for the little money and it cost it's awesome. Like I said, it is tight, it is formfitting and it is short. So for the little black dress or something see through it is perfection!

I wore this slip once under a very thin cotton dress. The slip started off feeling great, and then as the night went on, it kept rolling up and bunching. I kept pulling and adjusting it. I'm very petite in height, so I also found it a little too long. I wouldn't recommend it unless you plan on standing up the whole time you wear it.

It was a very comfortable slip with on major flaw...it doesn't stay in place. I have spent the majority of the day pulling down. I had high hopes for this slip, but it fell short.

Nice slip to wear under a see through dress or to help with slimming and smoothing. Wish it came strapless. I'm 5'9 150 m/l fit fine.

I love these, I got one in every color. Great for layering. I wouldn't wear under a dress really, rather as a slip for pajamas.

I've been wearing this slip for a few months and I am very happy with it. It stays in place all day, which I really appreciate (I've had some slips like this that I feel like I'm have to tug on all day to keep down). The only thing that disappointed me a little, was that the strap broke on the second washing, but it was an easy fix and I haven't had to fix it since the initial break.

Fits well, tight but not uncomfortable. I'm 5'8" and the small is a little high, but won't show under most of the dresses I'd wear it with. It doesn't ride up at all. I would've preferred a little more of a v-neck, but happy overall.

This slip was really great for a sheer baby blue dress I had. I didn't realize when purchasing the dress that it was completely see through so this slip saved the purchase for me. My only complaint would be that it rides up pretty easily bc it is such smooth, soft material. I enjoy the comfort level but I was having to pull it down all night.

This is one the most affordable slip that I was able to find. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that I was going to wear a few times. This works great, and I bought the xs/sm and it worked fine. At first looking at it, it looks so small. However, when you put it on it stretches out. It works great, and doesn't cost a lot!

Good slip, rides up a lot which is the only reason I didn't give a 5. Still though, if you don't mind tugging it down its a nice comfortable layering piece.

I was looking for a slip without any lace. This one works perfect for the dress I will be wearing over it. However, it is very fitted and I am a size 2. If you want it loose, I would recommend getting the larger size.

I really wanted to like this slip! I am 5'4" 120lbs with an athletic build and needed something that provided a little more shape. If you're looking for a slip that's basically a cami but doubles as a form-fitting "shirt-skirt," then this is your item. I am returning this since the XS/S was too tight to wear with a bra underneath...the MD/L may work better for that purpose. Ladies looking for a slip to wear underneath a form-fitting dress, this may work if you don't need to wear a bra. The fabric feels great against the skin! I can't comment about potential bunching underneath a dress but I think this piece of clothing would look great as a stand-alone cami dress for a casual night out.

I ordered this mini slip thinking that it would hit mid-thigh, especially since I am 5'9" I was worried that it would be too short. To my surprise, it was quite long and hit right above my knew which rendered it too long to wear under the dress that I had intended. Thanks to Zappos' great return policy, it was no problem returning it. It was very stretchy, and comfortable, and true to color (Ivory), just be aware that it is longer than you would think!

I wore this slip under a dress that was a little see through. Although it was comfortable and did the trick in terms of covering up, it did not stay in place. The bottom hem kept creeping up, forcing me into the bathroom to readjust all night. So overall it's a good product but don't plan to dance much.

This slip felt great when I tried it on. Perfect, actually: form-fitting and just the right length. The problem was in the actual wearing of it, though... It started riding up immediately when I moved in any way and I kept having to duck out of the room to pull it down. (At one point it was practically at my waist). Unless you plan on only standing in place, I would not recommend this slip.

Like other reviewers mention, this slip constantly rides up. I purchased a size larger thinking I could avoid it, but it still rides up, making it useless.

I absolutely did NOT like this slip. It is heavy, clingy, itchy and uncomfortable. I should have believed the other reviewers! I love Free People and thought it would work under a see through dress i had already purchased. The color is rich in deep plum. Wish it had worked. It is returning to Zappos as I type.
