I absolutely love these boots! I purchased them in the mint color and they look exactly like how they do in the picture above! I am a size 8 with wide feet and they fit perfectly even with thick socks on for colder days! I highly recommend these shorter version if you have large calves like me! I went back and forth with these boots and the Hunter classic shorts -- needless to say, I am much happier with these.

These rain boots are the best I have ever owned. I have muscular calves so I hate how tight normal tall boots can be. In my search for a short boot, I spent lots of time researching different brands. After purchasing these, the level of comfort and style are superb but it is the high quality at a low price that I love. Considering my rain boots are only worn a good 30 times a year, I did not need to spend an exorbitant of money ($150-$200) on the purchase. These boots are totally waterproof, and are not too heavy in weight. My last few pairs of rain boots made me feel like I was wearing sandbags as shoes, but not the Chooka boots. The buckle is adjustable so you can make the top portion wider or tighter depending our your preference. The foot bed is relatively comfortable and my feet never hurt after I wear them for extended periods. I am usually an 8 or 8.5 and ordered the 8, which fit like a dream with normal socks. I have the Taupe color which matches with everything, and I get many compliments on. I highly recommend these boots, they are by far the best high-quality short rain boots for an affordable price. It feels good to actually have cute and lightweight rain boots that I enjoy wearing.

Finally! I must have the most gargantuan calves of all time, because I've been hunting for rain boots that fit for YEARS. These fit like a dream, are extremely comfortable and keep my feet dry in the rain. That's all I ask!

Super comfortable. I have somewhat wide feet and wear between a size 9 and size 10. I ordered a size 10 and they fit snug and warm with moderately thick socks. The insole included fell apart almost immediately so I would recommend purchasing separate insoles. They can be worn without insoles for extra space vertically but the bottom seam might add minor discomfort. The color is a little duller than the picture, not as neon pink, which is nice. Great for the frequent rain in the PNW and comfortable enough for a short hike. Just remember when wading in water that these are shorter than normal rain boots! Conveniently, they dry nicely after getting thoroughly filled with water. Overall, I love these boots and couldn't be happier!

excellent boot for spring, summer and fall. size up if you're not sure, so you can wear thick socks on cold days. the mid height boot shaft is much more comfortable than the knee-high version.

These boots are great for mucking about in the damp, whether you are on a soccer field or in the woods. The lower length makes them easy on/off. And they are warm, without being stiflingly hot. My one wish is that they not feel quite so heavy. As they made my legs tired - though my feet had no complaints - after walking about 5 miles.

These are perfect and stylish. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 and the 9's in these fit me very well.

I loved these boots I bought them twice. Unfortunately I just had my second pair come apart at the seam leaving me with wet socks (bleh). Overall the shoes are great and super wide (I had to size down), but when they come apart it defeats the purpose in buying rain boots. Won't be buying a third pair. Sigh! :(

Haven't wore them out of the house but.... MY foot actually went in!!! Those who understand, get it - those with slim calves couldn't possibly understand what a HUGE thing this is that it actually went in and is comfortable!! So far, SO HAPPY:)

I love these Mid Chooka Boots. I wear a 6½-7W and the 7 fit is roomy enough for heavy socks in cold weather. There is plenty of room at the top to tuck wider leg pants into. I bought the mat black color.

I have a very high instep so often it hard for my foot to 'turn the corner' so to speak with slip on boots. I could get these on which was very exciting, but alas, they were a bit too narrow. (I often wear a 9.5 wide so while I'm sad, I was not terribly surprised.)

Poor quality! Boot so not worth it...love the fit and comfort but split across the top foot on both and leaked. Lasted a few months never will buy again. This price for 3 months - such a shame!

Very good boots for the price! I have big feet (size 11, wide) and big calves--double whammy. So I purposefully chose short rain boots with a wide calf. These fit comfortably on my calf and slip on and off very easily. I first ordered an 11, which were WAY TOO BIG--even with a thick sock! I ordered the 10, received them the next day, and they fit perfectly. These are going to be so useful now that all this snow is starting to melt! And I've already received one compliment on them...not even 24 hours in to owning them! Only fit negative (besides running big): my big left toe is rubbing a little underneath and on the side--while the fit of the boot lengthwise is much better from ordering one size down, the width is probably JUST perfect, which is causing a slight amount of rubbing. But I only intend to wear these on my walk to/from bus stop daily to work, so this is not a huge concern for me.

Well it's 2019 and I finally have to buy a new pair because the ankles have cracked. Not bad. :-)

Can’t decide between these and the taller version, so I tried both. Very cute and comfy! I normally wear an 11 but a 10 fit perfect.

Excellent rain boot! I prefer the shorter style so that my legs (shins) don't get too warm on a rainy muggy day. These work great and fit exactly as expected straight out of the box.

Bought for my 18 year old daughter to have on rainy days when she goes away to college. Size wise ,she wears a 7.5 in shoes so I went with an 8 when ordering these boots. Fit is great- I think the 7 would have been too small. Aqua color is pretty . I was second guessing myself on ordering size up after reading the reviews about how roomy they are and needing thick socks ... but they are just right for her.

Finally, a pair of rain boots that are wide enough throughout the calf not to rub up against my leg while walking. The overall fit of the foot part is perfect to size and my feet stayed dried all day long while walking about in the woods. These are the best rain boots I've purchased.

These are very comfortable rain boots. I have big calves and they don't fit tight at all which is awesome!

I have legs like stove pipes, and it's very hard for me to find boots that fit. These have excellent room at the top of the boot . I'm very satisfied with these!

I love being able to slip rain boots on and off, and these did the trick. I can wear them with leggings or tuck jeans into them due to how large the opening is. The only thing I would disagree with is the color. The stock images show a much different hue blue that arrived.
