My daughter size is 13 and in running shoes 1, first I ordered size 1 because last year she wore 13 in Livie & Luca and after a while she complained about her toes hurting because the shoe was to tight. I figured if she grew up the size 13, she will fit in size 1, I was wrong size one was so huge on her, returned them and ordered a size 13, today they arrived and they still one size bigger. Definitely this model runs 2 sizes bigger than the other Livie & Luca models. She has been wearing this brand since she started to walk, and not any issues with sizing. I hope this review is helpful to you.

The problem is the foot box is huge. My daughter's toe came right to where it should but I could fit my whole hand inside the front box with her feet so she felt like she was flopping around in them. Bummer because we both loved the shoe and color.

Fit perfectly! My daughter is growing out of 11s and starting into 12s. I ordered 12s and they fit comfortably with slight room to grow. They are a beautiful, rich raspberry color. They pair perfectly with the MJ release that came out this year!!

My daughter lives in these shoes. We buy a new pair every year. She's a girlie girl and doesn't wear sneakers unless required. These are a great playground shoe for her that stay on while she runs around but still look stylish. The black patent is beautiful and classic. I'm so thrilled with these shoes year after year!

It’s very cute spring, summer shoes. I like the color and style a lot, it goes well with all color of leggings or dresses or skirts. It runs half size shorter than other style Mary Janes in this brand. The only thing make me concerned is the top is low and the toe box is kinda wide. After my daughter wears for five minutes in the house, I already see a red line on top of her feet where the top of the shoes meet the top of her feet. The leather is pretty soft compared to other patent leather shoes. I don’t know how much it may stretch over time. I really hope the company can see my review and check it and improve it.

I love Livie and Luca Petals. But between the strap changes two years ago and now going back to the Trac sole, sizing is all over the board. My daughter currently wears a 12 (with room to grow) in last season's Petals. The size 13 in dark green, while stunning in color, barely fits her. Worst part is, they don't make this in Youth sizes. Not quite sure why Livie & Luca went back to the wider toe box and Trac sole for non-Toddler sizes. It gives the shoe a much younger look and makes it less flexible as an active shoe. I just can't justify keeping this shoe, when she will most likely outgrow it in a couple months, unlike her current pair of Size 12 Petals which she still has room to grow, and has the more durable sole (Flex?). Such a shame.

I’m enclosing a photo just to show the wearing away of the glitter on the toes of these shoes. I bought them for my granddaughter and love Livie & Luca; she has many pairs. I thought they were dirty only to realize the glitter is gone.
