The fit is great and the straps keep the suit on when surfing; the waves do not knock it off. The fabric tends to lose elasticity after a rather short time though; and I take care to wash it off in fresh water and never put it in the dryer. I continue to buy this suit anyway because it is the best fit and look I have found.

Pool suit--laps. I have a Beacon suit bought a few years ago, and I carefully cut out the entire bra because it pulled, and looked terrible on me. I loved the fabric, and without the bra, it fit pretty well (I'm a 36A). Carve seems to have solved this problem though, and this one fits lots better. Am very happy with it.

This is a really cute, quality suit but it was too short for me. If you've ever considered yourself "long torso" then this suit may not be for you. I did size up but the proportions were off at that point so I had to return.

Based on the size chart I should wear a small, but the extra small was the best fit overall . I'm 5'2 and it fits really well in terms of the torso length, so I imagine if you are very tall and slim it may not fit well.

I'm 5'4", about 142 lbs. or so, with an athletic/curvy build. I find swimsuits shopping so confusing size-wise. I'm typically an XS/S/2 in tops and a 4 in dresses, coats, and a 34C bra. I had to buy a large in this suit, which feels so odd to me. The shape is adorable, and the double strap design is really fun. I found the suit oddly short for my torso, but not so much that it didn't work. There did seem to be a little extra material right under my arms, which made strange little protruding pockets. I wish the extra width at the chest/bust had been used in the length instead, but overall, the suit works and it was nice to not have to worry about the girls popping out of a bikini top. I will say, after wearing this suit only a few times and not doing any vigorous activity other than swimming, there's already a small hole at the bottom of the scoop at the back of the suit. Very disappointing. These suits are adorable, so if you're interested, order them, knowing that you can always return.

Love the swim suit but had to return it was a little too tight around check area not meant for fuller chest. Ordered the small but would have needed the xsmall. I'm 5'2", too much material in the back for me. Does have great tummy support and I thought the back straps gave it a sexy look for it being a one piece suit.

Probably the single best bathing suit I have ever owned. Fits like a glove, stays in place, comfortable, supportive, and cute! The only negative is the straps are kind of annoying, they get twisted when putting the suit on. Also when it is wet and your are putting the suit on or taking it off, the inner bra pads get out of place.

Finally found the suit! Very nice quality with a print and fit that is both retro and current. Plus it looks really good on! Slimming through the mid section and enough coverage on the backside! This is not a matronly suit. The low back scoop gives subtle sex appeal. I felt confident running around on the beach and doing other outdoor water activities. Never once felt like I was having wardrobe malfunctions! This might help in ordering: I am 5'6 and 120lbs. 34-26-36 Usually wear size 4/6. I ordered a medium and it fits great.

The crossed double straps and low, scooped back elevate this suit from basic to stylish. The bust support is not fantastic, but acceptable for this 50+, 34D. I would not recommend this suit to normal or long-torsos. I'm quite short-waisted and it works great for me. The binding and straps are dark-colored so they won't stain from sunscreen. The dandelions save it from being boring. Seems well-made.

Studied model's size and ordered the size I usually wear--a small--and it could have worked, but the back straps dug into my back. The suit was very cute but flattened me out. Considered ordering a bigger size, and may still. This arrived with another Carve item--a tankini--to go with bottoms, so I may just use that until I find a one piece in the store.

This suit runs waaaay too small. I returned this twice for a bigger size but it was still too small, even though I used the size chart. The style in the front was very wrinkled, too.

Is it just me? ALL your suits have very little butt coverage, even the ones that have a tad more. This may be fine if you are toned and young but please offer a few options for the older, more modest body that looks more flattering with some coverage. I mean something that is NOT French cut, NOT thong like, maybe a little more boy short coverage [or even longer], without having to buy shorts. It's also just not comfortable to have the suit covering 1/2 the cheeks. Wedgy. Other than this fact, I love your suits. I only wish I could wear them! I bought some other things from you but unfortunately I have to return the suit and buy one elsewhere.

Overall a decent fitting suit, just a bit boring. There wasn't anything that wow-ed me about it.

Post-menopausal women aren't as hard-bodied (even if really fit) as we'd like to be--one reason I love one-piece suits. The straps on the "right" size cut unattractively into my back. Returned it, ordering up with hopes the same problem won't occur.

I wanted this to fit so badly because of the reviews and style. The side gaped under the arm and did not fit snug enough. I thought it was just the one suit that was maybe stretched out so I ordered another, and it was the same. Sadly I had to send back.

I love the pattern and shape of this suit, and the low, criss-cross back. The suit gapes a little bit at the sides of the chest area, though, but I found that with a little tug of the straps I could get it to lay back down. Also, I wore this suit only twice before a run/tear developed where the seam meets the material at the bottom of the scoop in the back. The run is inside the suit, not on the outside, so you can't see it, but it was still very disappointing. Lastly, the removable cups rolled in on themselves after only two wears, so I ended up having to take them out. If I hadn't already taken the tag off the black one, I would've returned that one, but now I'm stuck with both suits.

I really wanted to love this suit, but I have a longer torso. Didn't work for me. I wish there were more one piece suits for longer torsos. It was so cute.

Too small. Returned.
