I used to have a wide foot (8.5 W), but since my pregnancy my foot has gotten shorter and wider (8 WW). I also have a slight bunion but it isn't a bad one. I have struggled for many months to find a basic black pump that doesn't squeeze and pinch my foot. I do a lot of walking and standing in my job, and I refuse to wear shoes that hurt or mutilate my feet. I also refuse to wear shoes that look orthotic or like they belong on a grandmother (I'm 30 and I like to consider myself as relatively stylish). At last, I have found a pump that fits and looks good. My husband joked that Zappos should fire me as a customer because I ordered and returned like 10 pairs of pumps (Seriously. It was a lot of trips to UPS.) looking for a black pump that fit. I wish I'd tried the LifeStride Parigi a long time ago, but I didn't think that the shoe in the photo was stylish enough or the brand cool enough. However, in person this is a very pretty, classic shoe. Like another customer mentioned, it makes you feel like Kate Middleton. It isn't trendy, but it isn't dowdy. I think it's the perfect all around pump, the kind that every woman should have in her closet. It's not like walking on a cloud, but it's not uncomfortable. I'll be ordering it in another color.

In my quest for the perfect nude pump, I tried five different brands: LifeStyle Parigi, Naturalizer Michelle, Rockport Seven to 7 Low Pump, Bandolino Lantana, and Chinese Laundry Palace. LifeStyle was the winner, with Naturalizer a close second and Rockport in third place. I wear 8.5 medium in just about every brand of shoes. LifeStride Parigi: The first time I tried this on, I actually said Wow! out loud. I didn t expect a pump to be so comfortable. I thought I wanted a little higher heel, but after wearing these to teach all day I m glad I went with a lower heel. I found these true to size and width with a creamy nude color that has the slightest hint of pink. Great choice, and the winner of my comparison. 5 stars. Naturalizer Michelle: I love the color on these it s a little more tan whereas LifeStride and Rockport are creamier/paler in color. They also look very professional with a slightly higher heel and a little bit of a platform. These Naturalizers were very comfortable, but slipped off my heel and squeaked as I walked. 4 stars. Rockport Seven to 7 Low Pump: Looks similar to the LifeStride and comfort is pretty good. Unfortunately, it slipped off my heel too much and didn t fit as snugly as the LifeStride, so they won t work for me. 4 stars. Bandolino Lantana: A small toe box, too-tight grip around the heel, and a slightly lower cut at the toe area turned me off of these. They are a little more gray in color, but still attractive with a 3 heel. 2 stars. Chinese Laundry Palace: No doubt about it, these shoes look sexy. But the toe box was too small and my foot kept slipping forward. I had trouble with the stiletto heel and prefer a more solid heel for comfort while walking and standing. 2 stars.

These shoes look exactly as you see them in the photo. However, they are vinyl and not leather. They may say "kid" but inside the shoe it says 'all manmade materials.' They are simple shoes, which is exactly what I wanted and super comfortable. The nubs on the sole are great for stability and the heel is just right.

It's impossible for me to find heels that fit my extremely wide, flat feet plus overgrown bunion. Honestly, these are the first pair I've ever found in 20 years that even come close to fitting. I ordered them in a 6.5 WW. That being said, it's still a little narrow for me in the toes, but I'm going to put a shoe stretcher in them to help out with that. My heels slip out, but a couple leather-pebbled heel inserts (try Tacco or Pedag brands -- they are the best; I've tried out of all of them) solve that problem. One last thing -- they could definitely use more cushioning. Not so comfy on the bottom of your feet.

This pair of heels did not hold up well at all. By the second or third time I wore them, the color was chipping off. Loved the shoes. Loved the fit. But I did not expect the leather to compromise so quickly.

I will preface this by letting you know that I have short, fat feet, and consequently HATE heels. With that in mind, these shoes are the most tolerable heels I have found to date. They do tend to run a little small though, I usually wear a 7 1/2 WW, but had to get an 8 WW for these.

I have NEVER worn heels. I was going to a black tie event so I figured I should try them. There was a TON of cushion in the toe. I walked a lot in these shoes and only at the very end of the night did they start to hurt (which says I shouldn't have done laps around the event). There was ZERO rubbing on any part of my feet. If you want or need to wear heels, these were fantastic!

I bought these for my friends' dressy spring weddings. The patent makes thes dressy. The flesh tone makes them versatile and makes your leg look longer. I do not wear heels, following a pretty severe ankle sprain. I usually feel wobbly on them or find them generally uncomfortable. These don't have as high a heel as some other pumps, and the heel is chunkier than a stiletto, so I felt stable on them. The footbed was also cushy and the toe-box is spacious. I brought flats to wear just in case, but they were comfortable all day long. They do run a little big. I usually wear a 10-10.5. Those sizes were sold out so I bought an 11 and crossed my fingers, and they felt great. I used inserts to keep my feet from sliding too fall forward. So I would say they run a little small.

The toe box of this shoe is very short and cut right across my bunions. Ouch (and not a good look)! Thank you, Zappos for making it so easy to find the perfect pair of shoes!

I feel like I need to update my review...I was the one who loved this shoe in black kid in 8 WW. The black fake leather scuffed up after one wear. Also, the taupe glory did not fit at all the same way.

Only got to wear these once. Side of one shoe broke 2 hours into wearing them. Very disappointed.

Okay, I know everyone is different. But for me personally, this is the only pair of shoes (heels, flats, sandals, boots, anything) I have ever owned that has never given me a blister or sore spot. I have worn these all day long several times and been amazed at how good my feet felt. I even have other Lifestride shoes that I have not found to be as comfortable as these are. I have them in three colors and am tempted to buy more. Hey, when the shoe fits.

I have been looking for the perfect taupe high heels and I finally found it! I am extremely picky when it comes to a good size heel and support. I wore the shoes for the first time today to work and my feet don't even hurt. You know that's saying something about the great quality!

I am dealing with plantar fasciitis but I needed a classic pump that I could spend a day standing / walking in. I was hopeful when I received my Zappos box and even delayed opening it and trying the Lifestride Parigi on. As soon as I did tho, I was so pleased. The insole is so soft and perfectly padded especially at the heel. The upper is soft and pliable. The color is beautiful taupe. The sole is soft with slight nubs and feels like it will also cushion my steps and be safe, not slippery. Once again, I am very pleased with my Zappos order and the customer service. Excellent

For a high heel, these have good cushioning, but the toe box is a bit too narrow (even though the shoe I purchased was a Wide). Look closely at the picture and you will see a little bulge where my toe needs more room. I like the looks fairly well, but will not be able to keep them.

Great shoe and comfortable fit. Just the classic design I was looking for. I had to return for a different size since my bunions complicate everything, but ordered this in a different size and it was perfect! Highly recommend!

I own these in nearly every color and fabric. Please don’t stop making these and please make more colors and patterns! They are the most perfect work shoe! I can actually walk around the city and wear them around the office all day without pain!

I loved the WW option of these, and with a wider shoe I sized down 1/2 and they fit great! A very moderate heel and lots of cushion makes these really comfortable.

I can wear any size between 61/2 to 71/2 narrow. I purchased this in 7 wide. Love the fit and comfort. These are for work and I do walk a lot on Friday and Saturday nights for at lest 8 hours each night.

I struggle to find comfortable heels after a lifetime of sports injuries. I've purchased these in 4 colors and love them. High enough heel to feel glamorous and professional while still being comfortable to wear all day at work. Please make more colors!

Absolutely the most comfortable heel I've ever worn. Fits my slightly wide feet perfectly and doesn't pinch anywhere. The shorter heel is super practical and perfect for all day wear, but I'd love a higher heel too.

These are a great pair of pumps, especially for those with wide feet. It is the first pair that I feel I can actually wear for more than a few hours. I purchased the WW. It's the first time I have ever been able to purchase extra wide so I did have to drop down a half a size.

I found these shoes at a Famous Footwear store in nude and purchased them because they are a great basic heel. I like that the heel is less than 3" so I wore these literally all night at a wedding (think 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM) and never took them off. I rarely wear heels so my feet were a little sore towards the end of the night but that is pretty amazing for a pair of heels, right? Now I am at Zappos to get them in black. These heels are definitely a style that I hope LifeStride will keep around for a while!

This is the perfect nude pump every woman should have in her shoe wardrobe. The heel height is sexy but not too high. The footbed is comfortable and the rounded toe is just classic. Right out of the box I wore them for hours and they were fabulous. I have a small bunion on my right foot and this pump is cut high enough to miss any painful spots. Even though I tend to have a narrow heel these did not slip at all. I wear them with everything from dresses to jeans and they look great.
