I wore out my last pair of Vasque boots - over 1000 miles, including the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. (I was the only one in hiking boots - but I didn't have blisters or sore feet after hiking 39.3 miles in two days.) These boots are breaking in nicely and not creating any new sore spots, so I'm happy. Note - Although I'm a woman, I buy men's boots. They are larger in the front. I have "duck feet" so they fit me much better women's boots and honestly there's no way to tell. And, of course, Zappos was wonderful as always!

Wonderful shoes. Super sturdy, rugged and strong. Been through thick and thin with these for three years now with zero signs of wear. I recommend everyone get a pair.

Fantastic boots. Keep in mind this review will need to be updated as these are fresh out of the box. The insoles are very impressive. they actually tried to make good ones. They're maybe a small step down from my orange Super Feet and that says a lot! Solid construction, comfy, and much more breathable than the last Vasque boots I purchased years ago.

Husband bought these. Writing for him. I bought womens -same. Mens: True to size unlike the womens that runs a size small. Great ankle support (he's had ankle broken twice in same spot that start to bother him after a few miles)- no problems with this. Great arch support perfect for him (i felt moderate arch support on my womens ones but I have flat feet) He has been in the army for years and says these are the most comfy supportive boots ever. Didn't need breaking in.

These are very comfortable boots. I have wide feet but, the D width fit fine. I purchased a size 12 (I usually wear an 11½) and they fit me perfectly. I took them on Angel's Landing without any break-in and they performed well. They gave excellent grip in the Fiery Furnace, followed by a hike to the Delicate Arch. After nine days of hiking, my feet were tired but, still in good shape. Walking through several washes, I did not notice any discomfort from stepping on any stones. You have to be careful with the tongue placement. If the tongue is not centered, the metal from the lace hooks tend to bite a bit. I will probably try some different insoles, as those included are the standard cardboard stiff basic type (the insoles do dry quickly, though).

Love these! I have wide feet and I had a pair of Vasques hiking boots that were a men's 9.5 that fit, but in these I took a men's 10 wide. Super supportive and comfy and I like the way they look.

This is a wonderful boot. Very well made, looks good, but it is not really a wide when the shoe is marked wide. It's in reality a "D" width. I wish they'd have fit!

Great boots! Got these for my 13 year old to wear when he mows lawns (his new business) and when he goes hiking at summer camp. He is very picky and loves these boots -- I love that his toes are protected from the mower!

My wife got these for Christmas (I had picked out a few options for her) and am I glad she went with this one. The boots feel great and are comfortable. They do feel warm when wearing indoors for a long time but I am just being picky. I have worn them cleaning snow and for general use during the winter and I am very happy with them.

So far they seen great. Some of notes that these boots tend to run small - my normal size is 8D, they were tight, the 8W seem fine.

Beautiful shoes. Lighter and more flexible than my old Vasques which put up with tremendous abuse. Worth the dough. (They run a bit small, go up a half or full size.)

These boots run quite small. I wear a woman's 12 in dress shoes, but wear a man's 12 for running shoes with super thick Thorlo socks. I'm wearing a man's 13 in these boots with medium weight socks, thinner than what I wear with my running shoes. They provide great ankle support and lace up well. Very solid boot for backpacking with 20+ pounds.

Excellent hiking boot - easy to break in, and fits well (I purchased a half size larger than I normally would, and then purchased in a "wide", since I needed to fit an orthotic in it. They fit perfectly, and are very comfortable - can't wait to take them out on "real" trails, rather than just the "break-in" walks...

Excellent boots. I have had 2 pair of the Breeze and 2 pair of the Breeze 2.0. I also have a pair of the Takus. This has been the most comfortable boot I've ever worked in. I am a railroad conductor and do a lot of walking on ballast (rocks). My only issue has been the last 2 pair (the Taku and the 2.0) have felt a bit tight over the top of the ball area of my foot after working in them for while. The Takus haven't stretched out yet but I only wear them when there's greater than an 80% chance of rain. I haven't noticed the 2.0s being tight in the last week or so. Both pair are Gore-Tex. (I bought the Takus because they are very similar to the 2.0 and were on sale.) I also use custom fitted insoles to help prevent plantar fasciitis.

I had a pair of Vasque hiking boots for many years. Wore them on hiking trips around the world. They were reliable, durable and never gave me any problems. They finally wore out; so with all of the choices of hiking boots on the market, I decided to stay with a brand that I really had faith in and enjoyed. These Vasque Breeze 2.0 GTX fit the bill. I love them.

These are comfortable shoes that really durable & resistant. Bought them for the Boston winter of '14 and they did really well. I ordered like 5 different shoes and this one won out.

Got these as a replacement for an old pair of Vasque hiking boots that lasted about five years. So far they're better in the snow - less breathable, but I'm ok with that trade-off. A little roomier than the old pair, too.

Do not but these boots, because I want all of the compliments on the great style. Seriously, the style and fit are fantastic, but it is the comfort and support that exceeded my expectations. I suffer from, what I call old feet and ankles. My feet are flattening and arthritis is starting in my toes. After even moderate activity, my feet hurt and ankles hurt. I ve been through all kinds of boots and shoes and inserts, nothing really worked, until now. I now float through my day wearing these boots. Best purchase I ever made. Happy feet, happy wife, happy life. (Don t tell my wife she came after my feet.)

Felt good right out of the box. Vasque always fits my feet well. Have about 25 miles on them now. Ordering half size larger than normal shoes for distance hiking was a good idea.

I love these boots. They fit perfectly, they are light and are well made. Went fishing and of course the boots got wet but my feet did not. I look forward to using them a lot.

These are excellent hiking boots and my second pair! The first pair lasted hundreds of miles of hiking.

Finally wore out the predecessor to this model Vasque, which last a full year in hillside vineyards, a new record. Have gone through many good brands of this type of boot, and this new Breeze is my favorite so far. Light but sturdy, comfortable, breathable, and waterproof, and lookin' good!

Really like these boots. I used them for a week at a family camp in the California mountains. I have bad ankles and they provided the support I needed, but I never had to carry more than my own weight. They are lightweight and breathe well. I noticed little to no moisture buildup wearing them all day. They delivered what they were described as. I am a satisfied customer.

A very comfortable boot with great forefoot adjustment. I had surgery on my foot (Hallux Rigidus) with a plate installed over my big toe joint, since then my foot does not flex the same. This boot is one of the many I tried that flexes well enough and has support. I've backpacked with it with a 40 lb. pack and had no issues.

Unfortunately, user error here, I picked up a size too small for my overly large bread pan feet. The boot is handsome, nice curves, nice lines, nice colors. Love the steel lace eyelets up top, nice finish. Pricey for a Made in China boot though. I have not taken them out for the test run into the mountains here in Lake Placid yet. My feet are so wide and the E-wide is a must. My bad for picking up a Medium and only size (14) instead of size (15). Imbecile, me that is. :) Looks better made that my previous Keen's which suck.
