I have narrow, big feet (15-16), and cycling shoes are impossible to find that fit properly. I have to added a second insole and to take up volume, and still have to cinch these all the way down. I miss my old (ancient) Nike ngumas that fit perfect right out of the box.

These shoes are fine. I had a tough enough time finding wide-sized mountain bike shoes that I'm pleased that they worked out at all. The adjustable ratcheting top strap was also tough to find on wide MTB shoes, so +1 there. These shoes are easy to walk in and are reasonably comfortable. They're not the most comfortable MTB shoes I've ever owned, but they'll work. I wish that they weren't completely synthetic leather; it's quite apparent once they're out of the box. And there's surprisingly little venting. Hasn't been a problem so far. My only other gripe is that the two cleat-mounting slots on the sole are quite long, i.e., there's quite a big open hole in the sole even once the cleats are installed. Shimano provides a plastic sticker that one installs from the inside of the shoe over the cleat slots (do it only once you're sure of cleat fore-and-aft adjustment). This seems like a weak design solution for a shoe at this price. It also seems like it'll fail in not too long. Not looking forward to that during winter commuting rides.

I've had these shoes for about a month and I've been racing with them each weekend. The toe bed is a bit loose, but that'll just be more comfortable for those without slim feet. The ratcheting strap provides good adjustment, and the shoe is appropriately stiff. This appears to be a shoe built to last. (Though the sticker you put below the insole to keep water from entering through the stud holes is a bit phony.) I recommend this shoe, for on or off road riding. The recessed clip makes it easier to walk with, also a plus.

This review is for the wide version of this shoe. If any of you are having trouble finding an acceptable wide width cycling shoe, consider this one. After searching for months to find a wide enough shoe, this one actually fit great. I normally wear a 9.5 EEE size and I went with the 44, wide version. For me, these fit better than the Bontrager wide width and much more reasonably priced than the Sidi mega. I've been using these in spin class for about a month now and I'm very happy -- and so are my wide feet!

I purchased a 45 wide (10 1/2) wide. Note very wide at all very narrow at toe section. I am disappointed I even paid for quick 2 day shipment.
