It feels flimsy. There is only 1 adjustable strap. I was hoping for a fit like the Freesia model I've worn for 3 seasons. I hope they revive that model with 3 place to adjust and a sturdier material in place of the ribbons which can cut into flesh.

Beautiful lightweight sandal. I wanted to keep this since it looked so nice and felt so good. But I am leaving forever on a world journey and need a sandal that has more stability and maybe Goretex or quick-dry.

I love these shoes. Even with my bad feet they feel good and I took a long walk in them. Also I could adjust the strap. I have a very narrow foot and needed something adjustable The arch support and open toes feel good. I recommend them as the real summer comfort shoe.

I am writing to tell you how wonderful this shoe is...it fits perfectly, which is hard to find these days and everybody loves them when I wear them...they are comfortable and have the best arch support which is why I bought them. I love them.

I'm glad I stuck with them for a while, because they did require a little more break-in time than Merrells usually do. I like them a lot now; they're pretty comfortable, easy to get in and out of. I like that the back strap is elastic, and I like that they're very lightweight. I wouldn't mind them being just a little wider; even better, if they were offered in wide sizes.

Love these shoes and got them cheaper on Zappos than anywhere else I looked for them. Merrell's are the best sandals for your feet according to my podiatrist.

My Dr. recommended this brand of shoe to me after I had an ankle surgery. He also told me Zappos was the best place to get them. I absolutely LOVE them! They have great support, and are so comfortable. I wear them everyday.

I'm not typically a fan of "sporty" sandals but needed a pair for a trip to Maine, where we'd be hiking and kayaking. These shoes were GREAT! Cute and functional...though I don't recommend getting them soaking wet.

Love these sandals! I need surgery on my right foot where the metatarsal joins the big toe. Hurts all of the time. Once I got these sandals within 20 minutes my foot stopped hurting! I wear an 8.5 N and these fit my foot and the heel strap is great. Hope I can find a winter shoe that fits from Merrell.

These are very comfortable and totally cute sport sandals. They offer good support and a grippy sole with comfortable ankle straps that keep them in place. They required no break-in time, were comfortable for a full day right out of the box. Highly recommend.

Super comfortable shoes! I'm normally a 8.5M, and these fit like a glove! The arch support is great, especially for a summer thong. I would definitely order these again! I only wish they came in a dressier version, too!

Very comfy shoe. Runs a tad small as I wear a perfect 4.5, and this size 5 fits me without any slippage on the heel. I like the elasticized heel strap. Good arch support.

Absolute love! I get a pair of Merrell's every summer and put them through their paces in NYC (concrete sidewalks and cycling, rain or shine). These are beautiful, extremely comfortable, and the ribbon is not uncomfortable at all. This purchase validates my complete faith that Merrell makes perfect summer sandals.

I have tried all the other popular brand walking shoes that everyone raves about but to no avail. I have a very low arch, almost flat; and most shoes are built up in the arch area, which most people like, I guess. People with lower arches cannot and should not wear high arch shoes. These are perfect! I bought for a trip to Israel, and I've been wearing to make sure they are good to go! Walked in wet and all day, and I love them. Could use a little more cush or padding but still soft and comfy. I also have wide feet (you're getting the picture of duck feet, that's me), and they are pretty wide as well. Think they are ready for 13 days of walking!

These are super comfortable sandals. That provide great arch support. The black looks quite dressy. I am a little worried that the back elastic might become too loose with no way to tighten it. But for now it is okay.

Love them! Fit like a glove. Have never had any issue with Merrell shoes. Brand new can wear them all day without getting a blister from the strap around the Achilles.

After reading the other reviews, I was hesitant to purchase these. However, I love Merrells so I went ahead and got them. I am so glad I did. They fit my feet perfectly, look great and can be dressed up or down. I have had three foot surgeries and also carry a lot of extra weight. I need cushioning and support. These sandals have both.

This shoe is everything you said it would be and I really hate to return it. The toe strap gave me some grief and wearing for a long period of time would be painful - would've love to have kept them.

I had to send these back due to narrow footbed. Liked everything else about them.

I bought these shoes to replace a pair that was very similar three years ago. While very comfortable in the sole, the straps gave me two blisters on two parts of the tops of my foot from the straps. The eight fit just a tad snug (I'm an 8.5) and the 9 was super long in the toe. So there's quite a difference in sizes. Overall I want to love this shoe and I wore them often at first, hoping to get through the "blister" stage. But it just keeps happening and that is discouraging. I love the look, it is so comfy and goes with dressy and casual shorts. So I am giving this a four just because of the strap rubbing.

My favorite Merrell sandal was the Siena. I wish they still made those. These sandals work well but do slip a bit due to the elastic back. I would give them a higher star on comfort if it had an adjustable heel strap.

This shoe is stylish and comfortable and sporty and casual and fun to wear... but the decorative ribbon used for the toe section is too short, too tight and there is no way it will ever stretch. Buy this if you are totally comfortable wearing a thong-style sandal. Otherwise, cross these attractive shoes off your list.

Cute sandals for daily use. I loved the style, the color, and the comfort. However, it does feel a little heavy and the sole material gets very sweaty very quickly here in FL. Still, I wear it quite often and receive compliments on how cute they look. Overall, still satisfied.

LOVE these sandals. I have found that, with Merrells, I have to order up a size since they don't carry half-sizes. (6-1/2 to a 7) I have 4 different Merrell sandals and this one seems to run a little narrow. They provide a little cushioning, not as much as other "comfort sandals". This style looks very cute on!

Really liked this sandal, but the front half is very loose, for me, and not made to tighten so had to return them. The back half is great and loved the way it fit, very secure. Too bad the front isn't. I normally wear 7 1/2, so ordered an 8, and the foot bed was a good fit. Bring back the Freesia...it is still the best!
