My last pair of Danskos I have worn daily for work and casual wear. I am in healthcare and stand in an OR all day. I loved my old Danskos and my feet never hurt. Sadly, they actually broke in half in the sole and I had to replace them. I started with the Dansko professionals in the same size I had been wearing and they were too small and also made an annoying clicking noise when you walk. Ordered the bigger size and my feet were swimming in them. Then I read that Danskos were now made in china, but the original makers, "Sanita" was still making the old Danskos. Ordered a pair of these in my original size again. Again, they are slightly small, but the next size up is way too big. They are fine for my everyday wear, but not acceptable for standing at work. My feet go to sleep and get very tired when standing. They just do not compared to the old Danskos. Also, they make my feet sweat and I have never had sweaty feet in my life. So disappointed that Dansko and Sanitas have changed their clogs such that they do not resemble the old style. I will keep these as I have worn them too much to return and I am still hoping they will stretch a bit and be more comfortable. But, I still don't have an acceptable work shoe. I tried some Ariats and didn't like the higher heel or the fit. So the search continues.

This is in addition to my previous review, as Zappos seems to have edited my version and it's not clear. The Professional PU is a bit cheaper than the Cabrio, and appears to be made in China b/c it doesn't have the Danish flag inside -- I guess?? The bottom line is it's a #*!* clog, I've now paid even more to replace my beloved Sanita's from like 3 years ago that have worn out by getting the Cabrio's yesterday, but as someone else has written on here -- these clogs just aren't the same overall. I'm on my feet all day, and now THESE shoes were killing me. Old Dansko's and "old" Sanita's didn't require breaking in. I mean is anything made with integrity anymore??! I think I just wasted more money unfortunately, trying to make Sanita's what they used to be.

I just got the Professional PU in black. They are very comfortable so far. I have tried on Danskos and these feel similar but actually a little bit more comfortable, slightly lighter and less floppy on the heel. The black color is NOT matte and streaky as it is in the picture here, it looks the same as the picture of the Professional Cabrio to me, except white on the inside, a plain somewhat shiny black (plus they are $15 cheaper than the Cabrio and I think treated so you can wipe them clean?). People seem to see these as ugly compromise shoes but I think they are pretty cute and will go with all different casual clothes. My feet are a little wide just in the toes and I often have problems with shoes, especially sneakers, fitting everywhere except the toe box - so far I am not having that problem with these.

Thank you Zappos for your patience! After about 15 returns while trying to repace my size 36 Dansko clogs, I finally stumble upon Sanita clogs thanks to user reviews! These fit exactly like the Dansko shoes that I wore for years until they started to be made in China. I am very happy with them and have just ordered a second pair, so now I will have white and black.

A Sanita fan!!! I AM NO LONGER A DANSKO customer...every pair I have bought says made in China...no thank you! Last pair was made in Vietnam..no thank you! I bought Sanitas after reading all the NEGATIVE Dansko reviews (Google the Dansko & Sanita connection) and I am sold!!!!! Sanitas are made in Europe (my pair specifically says Poland) and they are a night & day difference in comfort!!! Bye-bye Dansko (they feel hard as a rock on my feet) and hello Sanita!!!! I bought both at the same time to compare...and Danskos are being returned after I type this review!!! Love, Love, love the Sanitas!!!

This is my third pair of clogs from Sanita. I wear them pretty much every day. I have wide feet, and these fit me! Yay! I don’t have to look in the men’s shoe section. With my last pair of clogs from this company, I got lost in a park for four hours and ended up bushwhacking to find civilization. The clogs held up remarkably well during this debacle, with no slipping and sliding, no blisters, no pain. They are my favorite shoes! Hopefully you will never be lost anywhere for four hours, but if so, I hope you will be wearing these rugged, versatile clogs.

Love and live in these clogs.

More like the old Danskos from 10+ years ago... comfortable from day 1 no break in period.

I absolutely love these shoes. This is my second pair and they fit so much better than Danskos and are so much more comfortable. Try them!

Too large

They look great and are comfortable. After wearing them all day though the tops of them were tight.

I have only been wearing these for two weeks but so far so good. I work in a busy restaurant and am often on my feet 8-10hrs/day. These have been very comfortable with good traction and are easy to wipe clean.

I have been wearing Dansko/Sanita clogs for over 15 years and these don't disappoint. The PU finish was recommended by a Sanita representative, as it cleans more easily than the other leather finishes and is more durable for work use. No surprises with this pair. As with anything, clogs are shoes that people either love or hate and I love these.

I wear Dansko faithfully because my tender achey feet tolerate 12 hour days in them. I ordered these because I needed a white pair but didn't want to spend the extra money ( they're for clinical). I'm happy to report that these are my number 2 go-to, Algeria was my #2 ! Dansko still remains #1 with me but I'm pleased with this purchase. They are very supportive ( I have high arches, morton's neuromas and plantar fasciitis - geez!)Good comfortable well made Shoes are a must for me so I'm happy to share my finds with others out there that have similar issues. They are considerably cheaper than my Dansko, we'll see if the last as long :)

Fit just right. Ordered Dansko which I always wear bad fit way to big then read reviews on Sanita and wanted to try. Will order more!

I bought these since I was unhappy with the quality of my Dansko clogs. They are softer, and I didn't need to break them in. Also, I just had TSA tell me that they wouldn't beep and indeed they don't so that's handy not having to take them off to go through security! I did have 38 in Dansko but needed a 39 in Santa.

I am a former sufferer of plantar fasciitis and I have found that good arch support really helps my feet not ache. These shoes are great for that - I work in a doctor's office and they look great with scrubs, but I also wear them when I'm not working.

I can fit into a size 3 in kids shoes and I got the size 5 in these, they fit pretty nicely, I just hope they don't stretch out. These shoes make me want to walk fast!

Seems to run wide, and probably a half size larger than I expected. The leather is VERY firm. I think if I went a size smaller it would squish my toes!

I have narrow feet so these fit me much better than the Dansko. They're very comfortable and no break-in time needed! Love.

These clogs feel different than other, less expensive clogs that I have tried. The arch support is great. The shoes still look new after three weeks of wear. I will buy this brand again, if this pair ever wears out.

I purchased these great clogs for my daughter's birthday. She always admired my clogs which I always wear. Sanita clogs are very stylish. They are very comfortable and I recommend them to everyone. I also wear Dansko clogs.
