I love prAna products! These pants are great, but I find that they stretch out easily throughout the day.

They actually fit. I love that I got to pick the style and colour so that I will actually be able to wear them! Thanks!

Love the fabric and cut. Unfortunately, the short length is still too long for me.

I have the Halle convertible pant from last year and love them. At over 6' its hard to find 36" inseam pants, so am happy to have an option with Prana. I thought these would be the same except for no zip off, but the pockets are tiny, unlike the older convertible that had nice deep front pockets. Prana - please bring back usable pockets!!

I am always on a quest for a pant that makes my butt look good, and these do that quite nicely. As a frequent hiker in Colorado, I got these to replace some old Prana hiking pants I had from years ago that zipped-off and had cargo pockets. Those Prana pants used to dry very fast and were great for sliding on rocks or sitting trailside to rest. These Halle pants are lacking sufficient cargo space, and the material is so thin that even thorns and shrubs HURT scraping against your legs as the material is like wearing nylons when hiking. Disappointed that this brand has degraded in recent years. That said, on very hot days in arid climates, these pants keep you cool. Not good for cold icy wind days. In any humidity, look forward to your sweaty lower regions being obvious to other people.

Great pant. Kept the size 8 36 in. Insean & having it shortened. Love fabric, style, color but wish pockets weren't so shallow.

Nice color & lightweight fabric. Sadly, because I have a 33"inseam, I cannot make this pant work and will have to keep the 36" inseam and have it shortened by 3 inches. Like other reviewers, I cannot understand why 30, 32, & 36 inch inseams are available but not a 34. Also this designer needs to take leg length into account when placing the tab for the roll-up option. Where it is on the 36 in inseam would mean rolling up a wad of fabric too large for the short tab and also placing it too high on the leg of a 36 in leg. Do not purchase if you need pockets for anything between a credit card and small phone. The side pockets are very shallow and do not fasten.

I wanted to like these pants. They are cute. The waist band is comfortable. However, I felt the material was a bit scratchy and stiff feeling. It becomes annoying when I walk in them, and so I will be returning these pants.

The fabric is 95% Nylon & 3% Elastano. Very stretchy. I ordered a 6 Short and the dimensions are as follows: Front rise 9", back rise 14", inseam 30", outseam 40", waist 32", hip 39", thigh 22", leg opening 9". I ordered the green which was more bright than drab or olive. Overall a nice pant but larger than the Prana size guide. I would recommend erring on the small size because of the amount of stretch. I gave it a 4 only because I felt mislead by the sizing. I wouldn't recommend for a petite person, hence I am returning.

The only pants are wider legged than I thought. Probably good for mobility but not my typical style. Definitely seeing some vanity sizing going on because I am 150lbs (5'6") and not generally a size 6 right not outside of brands known for vanity sizing (e.g. Gap etc) I ordered both 6 & 8 because I was unsure. The 8 is going back.

Loved these and really wanted to keep but saw that they were scotchguarded. Not sure I want to wear something with those kinds of chemicals in it.

Love these pants! They're super versatile and comfortable. Unfortunately, I had to return them because the fit just wasn't there. The waist is a little low for me. It wouldn't have been a problem on its own, but the length was also an issue. The inseam choices are 32 and 36, and of course I need a 34. I tried both pairs and even thought of altering the 36 to the right fit. But the price of the pant and the low waist gave me pause. Ultimately I returned them and am patiently waiting and hoping for a 34 inseam!

I'm 5'9" with a curvy athletic build. I love these pants. They have a nice stretch so they don't pinch at all. I like the inseam option so they are a nice length. Great fit overall.

36" inseam is much too long & 32" too short. I wish a 34" inseam were an option. Great colors and nice fabric.

Great color and fabric. The 32" inseam is not long enough. Slightly short in the rise for me.

I do love these the feel and comfort of these pants. The short length is perfect for my 5'4"-5" height. But Prana, PLEASE! PLEASE! make the front pockets useable. I don't understand why "outdoor" clothing for women has such tiny front pockets. I like to use them, need them, want them. Also, the knees get a little baggy because of the way they are sewn. Otherwise, I am happy with them and wear them often.

Pricey, but worth it for comfortable and functional hiking pants that are actually flattering and presentable enough to wear off the trail. The very slightly boot cut silhouette works well with hiking boots and also regular shoes or sandals.

The Prana Halle Pant is true to size. I ordered 1 size down after reading other reviews and had to order my normal size and return the first one. I'm 5'10, 190 lbs and size 14 was the correct fit for me, as is common for me in most pants. This is a form-fitting pant with no baggy areas like I prefer, but the material is comfortable and the shape is flattering to my thighs and legs. I will be hemming them once I wash them a few times. They are fashionable for vacation evening wear worn long and comfortable and sporty rolled up for hiking along trials. I got the green shade and these will be my warm-weather deer hunting and 4-wheeler riding pants. They are cooler than anything else with the hard-to-find long inseam for protecting my shins from scratches when moving thru brush. I was aggravated that the pants tore on either side of the inseam about an inch behind the cross-section. But I bought some matching thread and hand-stitched a reinforcing stitch on either side of the seam and I no longer have the issue. It happened when sitting, as if I should have tugged my pant up slightly at my upper thigh as I was sitting. No sign of problems with the buttons yet as other reviews indicated. I will purchase this pant in black also.

Very comfortable and flattering around the waist and hips. However, I didn't expect the material to loosen so much over the course of a long day. I found myself "adjusting" too frequently.

These pants run extremely large, especially for Prana which in my experience usually runs small. I usually wear an 8 or 10 but these pants fit well in a 6. The long inseam is fabulous, although an inch shorter than advertised (35" inseam, not 36"). However, they're still longer than I need so not an issue. Great hiking pant, very happy with them.

These are great pants, but the same size fits differently in different colors. I own these in khaki and can wear them everywhere (hiking, walking, even to work in a doctor's office). I'm 5'5, 150, really hippy and the 10 fit great (a tad long) in khaki. But I ordered coal and I could barely get them buttoned. I tried on the khaki right after and still a bit baggy in the waist. Weirdest thing, but just be aware that if you buy more than one color, make sure to try them all on. Love the Scotchguard, makes these pants dry really quickly.
I'd also recommend:
Merrel, patagonia

I purchased these pants for a cross-country road trip and wore then for nearly two weeks straight. As usual, I ordered a bunch of pairs from Zappos and these were the best so I kept them. Size - Normally I am an 8 Regular, but in these I ended up with a 10 short. I am 5'7, and though I do have shortish legs, I've never had to wear a short before. Quality - After two weeks of nearly straight wear, the pants held up moderately well. The top two buttons both fell off, but fortunately I had a sewing kit along with me. The pants also have a hidden drawstring, which is kind of nice and better than nothing, but as the pants get stretched out it's not as helpful as one might hope. I do like that the pants can be rolled to the knee, rather than messing with the zip off bottoms. Overall, I gave them a 4 because of the weird fit and the button thing. Aside from those, though, would recommend these.

I like the style and basic fit of these pants, but one should count on ordering smaller than usual. I'm usually a size 6. I got these in a 4, and I think a size 2 might have been better. I still kept them -- quality, wrinkle-free travel pants.
