If you're looking for a running shoe, go for the Nike Free Run. The Free TR Fit is most definitely for moving around the weight room. I got these in yesterday and wore them to the gym - they were amazing! I did a few warm-up laps on an indoor track and felt right away that I wouldn't be able to wear these for long run days. The rest of my workout in them was great -- they're a pretty flat shoe, which is what I was looking for. Highly recommend the TR Fits.

These shoes were designed for people doing cross fit, gym training, etc. If you work out and are looking for a gym specific shoe, these are excellent. They give just enough support, are highly flexible and extremely lightweight. They provide just the right amount of stability for sharp fast movements. They are not a fashion statement or meant for running. Nike makes a running specific "Free" model for that.

My workouts generally consist of weight lifting (including squats, deadlifts, etc.) and these shoes are perfect! They are very lightweight and have a natural, barefoot feel not like other shoes that seem to work against you. Keep in mind that these are not running shoes, I don't think they would be very comfortable for an extended jog or run. Normally, I order a half size up in Nikes but these feel true to size. Got them in red and I just adore them! Thank you Nike and Zappos!

I tried these on in a store. In my opinion, they get worse with every remake. The original is still the best so far. The original TR Fit ran 1/2 size larger than true, had excellent arch support but needed a little more lateral support. It was fine for all machines at the gym and basic fitness classes, but not the more advanced exercises. The TR Fit2, was a wash for me. It was a full size smaller than the previous version. I tried several sizes, for a while I thought I got a defective pair. All attempts at wearing the TR fit 2 left me with foot, shin or knee pain. The latest version is pear shaped, wide at the ball of the foot and slightly narrower at the toes. They are perfect for my slightly wider than average feet. When I looked and felt inside, I could not find much arch support. When I put them on, the result was the same...not much arch support. The left arch support seemed to be cut in half or in the wrong place. I think I will skip this one.

I think these shoes are great for a training shoe. I use them for crossfit and have been quite satisfied. I do bring a pair of running shoes alongside just in case there is running incorporated in the workout. For me, I didn't find these shoes good for running but then again I didn't buy them for running and they are not advertising them as a "running shoe" so I knew what I was getting into.
I like these shoes because they seem to have a wider, flatter sole. I don't want something wobbly for crossfit. They are lightweight, have a flexible sole, and very comfortable.
I am normally and 8.5 or a 9 and went with a size 9 and they fit perfectly. Plenty of room for my toes to move around but not too much. In the free run, I am an 8.5.

I really like these shoes. I ordered a pair of the red in my normal size of 10 and they fit perfectly. I've got a really low arch and prefer shoes without a ton of arch support. This shoe has just the right amount of support and cushion. It is very lightweight. I don't wear these for training -- I've got a different pair of running shoes for hardcore training, but I have worn them dancing and walking around town. I wear them with jeans or just out and about. I've worn them on Fridays to the office and people love them. I ordered a second pair to have when these get worn out, which is something I never do.

This Nike sneaker not only looks good it feels perfect and is light as a feather. Works great for me working out at the gym and just running around. Would not recommend for long power walks or jogging it does not have that kind of support.

Apparently Nike has changed the sizing of this shoe. I've worn and enjoyed two size 7's in the past, reordered this shoe in a 7, and it's too small. Take that into account when ordering.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Runs SmallRuns Large
I ordered these nike's two years ago in a size 6.5 and had no problem with the sizing was true to size. I found these shoes very light and stylish but of course that meant a little less support than others. I would recommend them for training/gym activities or light running. After some rigorous hiking, the mesh on the toe area started fraying, but it was to be expected. I'd buy these again!

These shoes are lightweight, functional and cute! Great with jeans or yoga pants and workouts have been a dream in these shoes. I do circuit training so these shoes fit the needs of the wide range of workouts I do. Great shoe!

Love my new Nike Free shoes! I am just starting to get back to serious exercise after another bout with a chronic bulging disc and these shoes are perfect. I alternate between intense cardio and weight lifting and so far no back pain at all. Not even a slight twinge, and that is truly amazing. I usually wear a 6 1/2 but in Nikes I always order half a size up to give my toes room to spread out and really grip the floor. Totally worth the investment. Plus, the purple color makes me happy!

I use it for my fitness classes, Zumba and Cardio resistance training. It is pretty comfortable. My toes are a little wide, so I just loosened the shoelaces a little and that seemed to work.

I love these shoes! I supinate -- i.e., I walk on the outsides of my feet instead of pronating. Arch supports just make this work, and these are the first shoes I have ever had that didn't have them. For the first time I can exercise without my knees hurting. Yay!

It's very hard for me to find a good fitting shoe, and I'm normal a 6 or 6 1/2. I ordered these in a 6 1/2 and they fit perfect. I'm a college student that walks everywhere and they are perfect for that, comfortable and I really didn't need to break them in.

These shoes are super cute but also really comfortable. I wear them for weight lifting and kickboxing, though I probably wouldn't try them for serious running unless you're really into the barefoot thing.

I started working out a couple of years ago and then added running (ok, walking & running) once I plateaued on my weight loss. I was wearing some New Balance walking shoes that I bought at a discount store. They were white and probably more suited for someone in the nursing profession, LOL! Anyway, my husband bought me running shoes for Christmas 2012; partly, because I was so committed to working out, and also because he felt my current shoes equated to "mom jeans" (to my horror, but my husband knows I have a little vanity streak)! Although it took me some getting used to my Saucony Progrid 10s, I did and they were the best thing for me and trying to run. However, I found that they were becoming cumbersome during outdoor boot camp and my resistance/cardio training for gym-type exercises. After trying on countless pairs of shoes at local big-box stores that were billed as "crossfit" or "cross training" shoes (because Fleet Feet only carries running shoes), I finally settled on the Nike Free TR Fit 3. I then compared prices online and found the best prices here at Zappos. It has been the best thing for my boot camp workouts--whether outside, indoors on a concrete floor, or on a gym floor. They give me great traction while allowing me to move more freely due to the lighter weight and, I guess, the treads on the soles (from what I've read). It's much easier for me to do side-to-side, jumping, and backwards movements--everything you DON'T do when running. I normally wear a 9.5 or 10 in pretty much all kinds of shoes and boots. I have a 10 in both my Sauconys and these Nikes. I plan on ordering 1-2 more pairs of these as we do light weather with boot camp and I imagine my shoes will take a beating over the next 1-2 years. I'd like to get additional pairs when colors I like are on sale! I don't think you can go wrong with these unless they're just not a comfortable fit in some way. I also have come to the "present" by wearing ankle socks with them instead of my folded-down socks, if that matters, haha!

Love these shoes. Not only are they pretty and girl but they are super light weight. You almost feel like you are walking barefoot. Good for Crossfit kind of training but would not recommend for running or jumping. Love the leopard laces that come with them along with bright pink backup laces. Would recommend these awesome shoes any day! Arrived promptly by Zappos too!

I was looking for a pair of shoes to wear to the gym for various fitness classes (aerobics, cardio kickboxing, etc.) and to do various training around the weight room on the machines and bikes. Although I'm not a runner and cannot vouch for the shoes in that capacity, they are the most comfortable gym shoes I've ever owned. They seem to conform perfectly to the shape of your foot with the flexible material they're made of, which makes it harder to trip over your own feet and fall if you're generally uncoordinated like me. They seem to breathe very well, which will be important in the long run. Also, they are pretty nice looking, which definitely doesn't hurt.

Great, comfortable shoe and very cute! Definitely a lightweight shoe, so it's not a good shoe if you need support.

Stylish and comfortable for the gym and on short runs. Love the pink and cheetah print laces! For Nike frees I usually have to size up a half size (my free run 5s, I am a 36.5) whereas these are true to size at a 36.

Love these shoes! Great for workouts, but so cute I wear them all the time. My first pair of 'barefoot' type shoes, but so far, I am fan! Not much support, but I think that is kinda the point of this type of shoes. I do wear them for running too even though they are not marketed for that.

The shoes were amazing! they fit so well well true to size and Zappos was the best site to get them from. They were here in a flash and at a better price than I could get them at a footlocker or footaction.
