This Max-support is almost identical to the total-support. The only difference is you get more wiggle room in your toe area than the max. With the max it's a little less room to move your foot around. Both are outstanding and I recommend highly. Either one will bring you thousands of pain free miles.

As others stated the arch support was a little further towards the heel than I was used to with my custom orthotics. It did not take long to get used to this. Good substitute while waiting to get my custom orthotics refurbished.

I was introduced to Spenco products a year ago by a friend who has Plantar fasciitis and I'm eternally grateful. The Total Support Max relieves my nagging heel pain that has plagued me for years. I have tried many different OTC insoles that cost twice the price and all have failed within a month. The Spenco line is without a doubt head and shoulders above the competition.

I was disappointed with this insole as I was hoping they would have as much support as the slipper and slip on shoe. They don't and my foot still hurt so they are being returned.

Simply put, if you have plantar fasciitis, give these a try. I have a pair for all of my shoes and couldn't imagine walking without them. They have changed my life from a person who couldn't walk a few blocks to someone who can walk all day long. They last quite a long time and are worth every penny.

So I was doubtful because I have spent so much money on insoles it ain’t even funny! So for starters I work as a picker at Amazon. We are walking 10+ hours on the daily… but after trying these I was in heaven! From the moment I tried them on til a month later while writing this review! My only problem is after your 10 hours shift my heel feels drier than normal and idk if this is blocking my breathing room or what but it only occurs when wearing the shoes with this insole but overall I’m so happy with them!

They are great insoles and add arch support and relief from my Plantar fasciitis. Wish heel cup was deeper and arch was more pronounced. Also use Sole Ultra which has a higher arch.

We get these for our son. He wears an 8 or an 8.5 depending on the shoe. The size 2 inserts fit perfectly. The size 3 inserts are too large. If in doubt, I would go a size smaller. Without these insoles, my son's feet bother him when he is on them, like when playing sports or working. With these insoles, the pain goes away. They were recommended by his doctor and are well worth the money.

I have been using Spenco Total Support Max for three years and love the insole, finding I need to replace them annually! On my daily walks, I was experiencing leg fatigue,knee,ankle and hip pain. All I needed was a good supporting insole to help relieve the stress my 'wobbling' foot was causing to the leg. Zappo has product fairly priced and you cannot beat the free shipping and speedy delivery.

I purchased this to help with my plantar fasciitis that got substantially worse while training for and running a marathon. I have stopped running for now and am wearing these inserts in all my shoes. I stopped running before purchasing this product and used other shoe inserts but really didn't see all that much improvement. With this product, I have experienced accelerated improvement. How much of the improvement is due to just these insoles is hard to say. I was able to go on an extensive hike this weekend with these inserts placed in my hiking boots. I can't wait to try them out in my running shoes when I am physically able to do so. So far, I'm a believer!

My podiatrist recommended Spenco insoles several years ago. The difference with and without them in my shoes is night and day. They give my sneakers the custom fit and stability I need as an active person who is always on their feet. Off the rack shoes usually have cheap insoles with no support.Great Product.

These have been a godsend for me. I have a bought a set of them for my personal trainer. And he thanks me constantly for buying them for him. I have one flat foot and one high arch foot. And short of custom orthotics, I will be buying them for every shoe that I own. I have to trim a little bit of the top. But that is a minor complaint. If you never have had shoes with true arch support, it may take a day. But your feet (and the rest of your body) will thank you!

These are great! My foot pain was returning and these nipped it in the bud! Have to be very diligent and wear them always but I have success. They have a good stiff arch and I have a high arch. Would absolutely recommend these for high arch people with foot pain.
