While training for half-marathons, my running habit has me using zero drop shoes for runs 3 miles or less, Brooks for runs between 3 and 14, and a different pair of lightweight shoes for race day. I generally log about 25 miles, +- 3 every week from August until May. I was nervous about going from the GTS 11 to the 13. I'd read some reviews about the 12's that said they were not as good as the 11s, and 13s are supposed to be basically the same. The chief complaint seemed to be people who thought the 12s were too hard. For my style of running I thought this might actually work to my advantage. Rest easy. This is a great shoe. The 13's didn't feel *that* much different than the 11s. They may be a little bit less squishy, but I've got about 500 miles on my 11s so who knows if it's the new shoes being harder or the old ones just having worn out. Either way I prefer updated feel and have kept on running w/out any difficulties breaking in the new pair. The bottom line is that this is still a great running shoe. I run w/out pain in my heel or shins. The shoes have held up well for me in the past, no problems at all with the uppers and only reasonable wear on the soles. If I had a complaint with the 2013 model it would be a lack of very interesting colors. I got the white/lava and they're good looking but not terribly original.

This is quite simply the best running shoe I have ever owned and I can't recommend it enough to larger people, especially athletes. I am a huge guy, 6'5 and 290 lbs, and these shoes almost feel like they were designed with a larger person in mind. I have fairly flat feet and these provided very good arch support, which is important when you weigh as much as I do. The soles were padded extremely well and allow long cardio sessions with little discomfort. I was also impressed with how true to size and width they felt.

Unfortunately, I am disappointed with this product. I used in the past the Brooks Adrenaline 11 and was extremely happy with that product. I thought the updated version of 13 would be as good as or better. I found the 13 to be a very stiff shoe without much cushoning, I noticed after a run my knees started to hurt, which I attribute to these shoes. At night and early morning when I run, I always hear myself klomping down the street due to the stiffness. I would consider other running shoes.

I am a shoe hound. Its become almost a hobby. After getting tired of foot pain and doing research i really got into my shoe addiction. It is rare these days I don't meet a shoe sales guy who I don't have more knowledge and usually they are wearing the wrong shoes for their type of feet which is really what it comes down to AND how you run. If you don't know those two things you are just throwing 100.00 darts hoping to hit a bullseye. Most people buy their running shoes off the marketing(my vaunted Nike air max I destroyed in 3 weeks uugh)Never again will I pay for commercials and endorsements in exchange for shoddy, cheap but pretty on the outside shoes. First I was on New Balance(quality iffy), then to Asics(good), then to Saucony(better) and now I have found this! I run everyday, all day and get paid to do it. I deliver your christmas presents in a brown truck and this shoe for me(over pronator and 6'1 200) is the perfect combination of support and guidance. Your feet affect everything else on your body- your legs, hips, back, shoulders even your neck. The brooks website even has a really cool interactive test to tell you those 2 things- it doesnt cost anything and you don't have to buy anything to take it. I still get all my stuff from Zappos. This shoe has a good support feel but if you are used to mushy like my asics were at first it will feel stiff but then after like 2 days put your asics back on and its like running in sand!And my shin splints came back! I have 3 different styles of Brooks now- this is work(needed all black yes) and I have a Ghost 6 that is a better version of my Asics to wear around daily and to run on weekends the glycerine is out of this world. That glycerine is a big chunk of cash but run in it and they could probably charge me what I paid for those crappy Nikes and I would still be happy. I'm 52 and have been running for since junior high. However, I have flat feet,and over-pronate. Because of this, I've rolled my ankle a few times in the past. I've tried lighter shoes with less support, but have found the GTS series is the best for remaining injury free, for me. These are the best running shoes I've owned. Very well made too, like all Brooks products.

Nice shoes with good support. Seemed to star off a little snug in the metatarsul region but after a few runs are comfortable.

I used to be a "heel runner" - I am making a conscious effort to stop that and these shoes help. It is a good mix between a comfortable shoe, but not bulky either. Quick note about the width: I need wide shoes so I was happy to see that this brand sells them in a wide; they are a little narrow for my feet so I could have benefited from getting a 2x wide (4E) instead of a wide (E).

Great running shoe for someone that pronates. Definitely order a half size larger than normal. They run small. Good for someone with a bunion or wide toe box.

These shoes provide excellent support and durability. I suffer from plantar fasciitus and have found these to be the most comfortable shoes for mr to wear. I just wish I could wear them with dress pants!

I get these for my son, 2 pair, different colors. He alternates for XC. Great shoes! I rated the style, but he finds it irrelevant.

I kind of become a creature of habit when I find a shoe I like. This is my 10th pair of this exact same style of Brooks. I have horrible knees and bad arches, but these allow me to run distance without pain and without horrible shin splints later on. I went to a running store to get fitted for the first pair I bought and I've been buying them on Zappos ever since, saving each time. Ya can't beat that!

This is the shoe I go to for great support, and Zappos is the store I go to for great service.

Awesome shoe. Couldn't be more pleased. Zappos is the best. I had to return these and reorder a size larger. (they run maybe 1/2 size small in my opinion). Zappos completed the return and reorder efficiently and flawlessly.

Terrific shoes, very comfortable with good arch support, I wear these for work, home and sports after 4 months holding up very well. I would definitely buy them again.

This was my first order from Zappos.com and I must say I am very impressed. I was unsure as sizing so I called Zappos. The customer service rep was extremely pleasant, very helpful and quite reassuring that should the size I order not be quite right, Zappos would happily exchange it. Anyway, she was spot on in her size recommendation and I couldn't be happier with these Adrenalines. I certainly will order from Zappos again!

This is the 8th pair of these shoes that my husband has worn. He loves them! Great support. He used to run marathons and now just wears them because they are the most comfortable shoes he can find!

I have relatively flat feet and they have been hurting a lot recently when working out so I decided to find a better supporting shoe. After reading all the reviews as well as going to a store to try them on, I settled on the Brooks GTS 13's. So far, they have been great. Perfect amount of support and cushioning while still being rather lightweight. I'd wear them all day if I could.

I've been wearing these shoes for almost six years and I've never had a problem. They're durable, comfortable, and provide a moderate amount of support. I'm an overpronator too.

I ordered my first pair of Brooks shoes here and have not been disappointed. They arrived promptly and fit better than I hoped. The sneakers themselves have helped me reduce my pronation and given me more support than I have gotten from any other running shoe.

I ordered 9 pairs of running shoes to try them on at home and see which fit best (Thanks for the amazing shipping/return policy Zappos! :) and these were the winners. They fit like a glove and I feel as if I'm running on air. The shoes that they are replacing, oddly enough, are the previous versions of the Adrenaline! I thought it was funny that out of 9 pairs that I tried out, the ones that I ended up picking were the same exact model as what I have worn for the previous two seasons. I'm a moderate over-pronator who prefers medium to high stability in a relatively light weight shoe. My profile: 5'11", medium build, run around 12 miles a week (unless training for next 1/2 marathon, put in 20-15/week). This shoe accommodates my narrow feet well also. This is a great shoe and Zappos provides the perfect shopping experience for someone who prefers to try out shoes in the comfort of his own home. Thanks!

This is my 5th pair of Brooks Adrenaline. I love the shoe because my foot is slightly wide and the EE is a perfect fit, when I first started wearing them I realized that my back felt better after long runs. I run about 20 miles a week and several half marathons a year in these shoes. I even run trails in these shoes and they work fine as long as its not wet and you don't mind the dirt. However, I do agree with some of the other reviews that they have changed the design on this current generation of GTS 13. I can't identify it yet, but the fit is not quite as contoured to the foot as it was in the previous generations.Also, they don't seem as tall. The change is slight and not so much negative as it is different. It is less noticeable after you break the shoes in with a long run or two. I still highly recommend these shoes, but kind of hope that Brooks goes back to the "Old Coke", even though the "New Coke" is still pretty good.

I first purchased these shoes after my husband had back surgery. They are the only shoes he likes to wear because his back doesn't hurt no matter how long he stands.
