Cute boot and true to color, but I made the mistake of also trying a (much more costly) Aigle rain boot in the same order, and Chooka is simply nowhere near the top-notch feel, comfort and quality of the Aigle rain boot. If Chooka was the only boot out there, I would be very pleased to get it. It would be a good Wellie for gardening and being in the yard in the rain. But I'll be living in my rubber boots once the rains begin, walking a lot on mixed surfaces -- pavement, sidewalk, roadside edges with no sidewalk but a lot of mud and roots, plus the garden and yard in the rain. Aigle's insole was built up inside, softly lined, solid, and the shaft very soft, and it wiped the plain insole of Chooka from my options in a single step. Chooka is well priced for what it is and how charming the style -- for not much more than the Wellies at the feed store, you get as solid and durable a boot (and much cuter!). But the Aigles won in a walk. Sorry, Chooka, I did love the color.

As much as I love these rain boots for style and comfort, I am unhappy with the quality. It rains a fair amount here in the Pacific Northwest, I walk my dogs daily through the forest, where we do encounter puddles. After only a short time, my boots started leaking. Sorry but I cannot endorse these.

I love these rain boots! I have had them for a year and have not had any issues with them. Great for city living. I would suggest buying them a size smaller -- they fit pretty big.

These literally arrived about 10 mintues ago and I just pulled them out the box and tried them on. It's totally love at first sight! They fit great (I wear a 9.5 and ordered a 9). Boots that slip on over the calf can be risky for me; I have bigger calves and some boots don't fit, but these are adjustable. The plum color is wonderful, fun enough to brighten the day without being distracting or silly. They seem like the perfect rain boots to me.

Love this boot! Stylish and nice and wide/adjustable around calf. I would wear these to work they are so cute. Really I thought the kamik boots had better support but calf was too narrow. These are perfect

I love this boot! I walk my Golden Retriever over freshly water grass each morning and was tired of water-soaked shoes and socks. These boots are the best I've had. The sole is sturdy enough and the toe area roomy enough to put on some miles without thinking twice. Other boots I've gotten from a popular designer were poorly made and the sole broke down rapidly. I'm thinking of buying a second pair for if and when they finally have to go.

I bought these boots for the rainy weather we have in the pacific northwest, and mainly to go traipsing around at the dog park with the pooch. Great boots, both functional and fashionable! The only disclaimer, if you have muscular calves they may fit a little tight. Otherwise, great fit.

Very cute! I am always a size 9, but these size 9s seemed enormous, so I'm very glad I read a previous review and also ordered a size 8 (which fits perfectly).

Very nice rubber boot (olive is a nice colour) but I am usually a true size 9 and in these barefoot my toes were grazing the ends. With socks they would have been slightly too short. Close to a wide width though. Calf-wise I think they're perhaps just shy of the 16 in circumference they mention for the 9. Bare legged I could have worn them but again not with tights or any sort of tucked in pant leg. They seemed comfy otherwise and well made...the thin insoles could easily be replaced with something else or taken out to wash.

These didn't last even one season. Good looking and comfortable but they split down the back seem (the entire length of the boot) mid way through winter. Granted I wore them every day for dog walks but for this kind of money they should last longer.

After reading other reviews, maybe it is possible that I received a faulty pair, however these are the worst boots I have ever bought. I live in downtown Chicago and wanted a boot that was versatile in the rain and snow. Wearing these boots throughout the snowy winter was downright miserable. My feet were wet and cold constantly, as the boots don't have any sort of lining whatsoever. I thought with the price and the look that these boots would suffice, but I was wrong. Again, other people seem to be pleased but they did not meet the basic requirement of keeping my feet dry. Cold, wet feet=unhappy girl.

These look good and are comfortable, but after two months I noticed that there are inch-long tears in the rubber on both boots up by the toe box. It's been another month and I have now have a big tear along the line of thicker rubber that runs up the back of the heel. I can see my socks through the boots and have to be careful not to walk in deep puddles because my feet will get wet, which completely defeats the purpose of rain boots. I know these aren't a top-of-the-line brand, but I expected them to at least last a season. Would not buy again.

I bought these back in May and they were wonderful until today when they split on the instep on both boots. Thanks to the fine folks at Zappos, I am getting a new pair from another brand. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your money.

Super cute and great price. I’m nervous about the reviews saying the boots split, but I’m only planning on wearing these once or twice a year...mainly for the muddy corn maze on Halloween! I wonder if there’s some sort of rubber care kit to prevent them from drying out and splitting?

Love these boots! I ordered these and adorable hot pink Ugg rain boots but the pink were too tight on the calves (my girls vetoed them as too bright anyhow so all good). Needed these asap for my kids' college graduation outdoors in a deluge and ordered Thurs, got Fri, free shipping, free shipping return for the pink and these boots were absolutely perfect. So glad I got them! If you're like me and need shoe inserts, they fit great in here.

Great fitting boots. I have 16" diameter calves and they just fit me. Very comfortable boot.

I ordered these as a hopeful alternative to Hunter boots, & I've had them for about 2 weeks. The rubber seems to have stretched a few centimeters since I got them. I'm 5'4 & usually wear a shoe size 8, & I worried the shorter boot height would make my legs look even shorter. However, since I ended up ordering a 9 (so my large calves would fit), the boot height covers about 1/2 of my calf. (It's not perfect, but my large calves limit my tall boots options.) The ankle space looks a bit big/floppy, but it doesn't feel too big with thick/winter socks. I've worn these boots comfortably with both leggings & jeans. I've walked through light snow (up to 7in.), small creeks (covering the entire foot) and muddy/gravel soil, & the boots kept my feet dry & comfortable. They never needed to be readjusted or pulled up. I'm a fan!

The boots were as described; I am happy with my purchase. I am just a bit surpirised how easily they scuff.

I love these boots! I must have tried a dozen different styles before these and had almost lost hope of finding a pair that both fit well and looked great. These are roomy and probably wouldn't work for a narrow foot but are perfect for me. They have a bit of arch support and are so comfortable that I am able to wear them all day long. I love the height and they are wide enough for skinny jeans but still look slender. I am a bit concerned about the durability of the buckles based on other comments.

I absolutely love these boots. I have had them over a year now and still get compliments on them when I wear them. I love that they are not your traditional Hunter boots. I love the brown leather buckles at the top! They are very sturdy and comfortable and really keep out the water and rain. I can wear them with thick boot socks or just normal socks. I highly recommend these!

I absolutely love these rain boots! Not only was this my very first time buying something off the Internet, but I bought rain boots that are so hard to find that fit right. You mostly have to try rain boots on before you buy in my opinion. But I live in a very small town and the only boots around here are cowboy boots or fishing boots. I am a girl and want something cute, duh! My calves are a little bigger and I was worried that either I would pay for these boots and never get them or they would not fit. Nope! My boots were here the next day! And they are so comfortable! You can expand them with the buckle or make them tighter. They sell in only whole sizes. I wear an 8½ so I ordered a size 9, and they are perfect! I seriously wear them everyday. They go great with jean shorts, any leggings, and long jeans. They are very reliable and will not wear and tear out! I am so happy with my boots and the service by Zappos! This will not be my last purchase for sure! I Definitely give this five stars. Both the site and the boots!

I needed these boots so I could walk my dogs in the snow, they are great, not a drop of snow/water has gotten my feet wet! I think they will be great when I work in the garden in the spring too!
