These boots were really cute on but they do run 1/2 size large. I ordered the 7 (which I wear) and they were way too big! Order down a half size for sure. Also, the leather is not a soft supple leather like some other boots. The leather is stiffer but not in a cheap way. They stretch and form within a day or so of wearing. I ended up keeping the size 6.5 which felt tight initially but formed to me foot and was quite comfy after a short period wearing them around. These are also really cute with a tiered skirt and cardigan but I like them with skinny jeans best! Oh, one other thing, I get A LOT of compliments on them and people ask me where I got them all the time. They are so unique and stylish. Don't be discouraged by the initial "tightness".

LOVE these booties, however...take note... I am a true size 9 and sometimes even a 9.5 and had to send these back for a size 8.5. In the half size smaller they feel just a tiny bit more narrow but nothing so uncomfy my foot won't stand to break in. These boots are so light and fashionable and will so adorable with sundresses as well. I also wear extremely thin socks if any at all. They are so stylish and "rustically" feminine. I have tried them with my skinny jeans both neatly rolled just an inch above the hem of the boot and tucked in and it looks great both ways!

I do not usually write reviews on Zappos, but wanted to let shoppers know ahead of time that although these shoes are fabulous, they do run large. I just received my shipment today, and although I normally wear a size 8, I was dismayed to find that these were way too big for me. I will have to return these, and was lucky enough to snag the last pair of 7½. Fingers crossed that they will be a better fit!

These boots are super cute. They go really well with very skinny jeans or leggings. The leather is very soft. No need to break in these boots. I did put an arch/heel support insert in the boot as I have high arches and this boot had NO arch support. With the insert, I was able to stand/walk in them for 7 hours straight with no problem.

These shoes run small so even though I normally wear a 7.5 or 8, I ordered a 7 and they were perfect. The brown wrap around strap hooks onto a spoke-like thing. The spoke on both shoes can twist off and has on both shoes, but luckily I have noticed when it has fallen off and screwed it back on. Besides that flaw, these shoes look great and feel great. They look like they might be heavy in the pictures, but they are relatively light weight and great casual boots.

Great service as always from Zappos, however this is the second time I am sending these boots back. :( Same buckle breaks first time you wear them. Super cute, super comfy but definitely an issue with the buckles. So disappointed. Will not try AGAIN with same boot or even Caterpillar brand.

I bought these boots for my daughter, she has wear them three different times, and I just notice today that her straps were loose, as I was about to button them/tighten the straps I realized that the tiny button was gone! It was attached to the boot with a screw the inside part is there, but the top was gone in both boots! I certainly, did not expected this from this boot. They look really good quality and was happy with it otherwise. Now, I feel very upset, for the price paid I was expecting better quality. They are practically new, but they look really bad with the straps unbuttoned. Now, I am just stuck with a pair of boots with loose straps. I do not recommend this product at all. I will try to post some pictures so you can better see what I mean.

These booties are awesome and I can honestly say I received many compliments on them. However, the buckle broke on my 4th outing with them. Returning them for a new pair in the hopes this was just a fluke - they're worth a 2nd chance!

I love these. They are pricey, but I'm keeping them. Seem to be super comfortable. My orthotics fit in them as well. I love the combo of the black with brown heel and strap. The black is more of a gray black. These look cute with rolled jeans, skinny jeans, or with my boot cuts over them.

My size 5's felt like 6's. Great style, I had so many compliments on these shoes (honey gold).

I love them, but they do run big... I wear a 6 1/2 to a 7...bought a 6 and I can wear a thick sock. They answered my quest for a winter shoe to wear with skinny jeans. Very comfortable too.

Great looking with any type of clothing or occasion. They're also more comfortable than I was expecting. Would order them again. Size was perfect for my long toes!

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn!! After the first wear they are perfectly broken in. Well worth the price. They do run big, I wear a 10, so ordered a 9.5 and I feel like those are a bit big too, but I kept them and love them.

Very cute ankle boots and surprisingly comfortable right out of the box. I didn't need any time to "break them in" and actually wore them to work all day after I got them. Good for people with narrow feet and has moderate all around support.

These are the most expensive shoes I have ever bought, and they are totally worth it! They were comfortable right out of the box. The day I received them I walked around downtown Boston for three hours and my feet were cozy and comfy the whole time. They work with dresses and jeans. I usually wear a 6.5-7 and I got these in a 6.5. I think they might be a little big if I were wearing them barefoot or with just tights, but with socks they are perfect.

Love this boot. I am a casual dresser and this fits the bill. I love it with jeans, leggings, skirts, and dresses. Some reviewers said that the boot is true to size but it is not. I usually wear a 8 to 8 1/2 so I ordered the 8 and had to exchange to a 7 1/2. I have a wide foot but ordered medium and it is not tight.

I love wearing boots but it seems to be difficult to find boots that are comfortable and stylish. These boots are both. They didn't have to be broken in and fell comfortable. The soles are quiet and nonslip. I have received a lot of compliments on them since I purchased them and feel like a bad@$$ when I wear them! :)

I normally wear a 9.5 or 10. I ordered 9.5 and found they were a bit large -- especially in the space for the toes. I could poke the toe area on the boot and it stayed "dented." I ordered a size 9 and kept that size. So I would agree that these boots run 1/2 size larger than normal.

I love this boot. It is exactly what I have been looking for. This fit me perfectly true to size, and is very comfortable. The slouch is just so hip and looks great with skinny jeans. I got the espresso color which is rich and gorgeous. This boot is so well made and will only look better with wear. Great purchase. Love Zappos!

These are super cute little boots. I am glad that I heeded the advice to order down half a size. I typically wear a 6½, and the 6 in these fits perfectly. They also run a little narrow, which I like, having narrow feet myself. I am looking forward to stomping about in them all summer with skirts and pairing them with skinny jeans come fall.

These boots are fabulous. I love them with jeans, shorts and skirts...the funky style compliments anything! I have a very wide foot and was worried about the width, but as usual the shoe stretch product I put on them before wearing for the first time did the trick. Great boot!

I love these boots. They look even better "in person." The size is true, so I'm glad I didn't have to try to anticipate variations in manufacturing. I've been wearing them with jeans and also with leggings and tunics. I intend to continue wearing them all summer...I think they'll look funky with a casual linen dress.

I ordered this size and one a half size smaller because the last pair of Caterpillar boots I bought ran large. I thought these would run large too but they are actually truer to size. I will say that they are a bit narrower feeling across the top of the foot between the ankles but I think that helps to keep my foot from slipping. I have noticed that a lot of low ankle boots are designed like that to help keep the boot on and these are no different. Since they are real leather, I expect them to stretch to my foot. I am keeping these until the other pair I ordered (half size up) comes so that I can compare them. I returned the ones that I ordered that were one half size down. I really love the style and they are really cute in skinny jeans or with a casual dress. The leather is a bit stiff but they are the kind of boots that last forever! I am anxious for the other pair to get to me so I can decide which ones fit best and start wearing them...Hurry, Zappos. Hurry.

This boot is so dang cute! Unfortunately it is also too dang small! I really love the look of this boot. It is super cute with the skinny jeans I tried them on with but they are just a bit too small. I ordered CAT brand boots before and they ran a bit large but these run true to size. Overall, I really love the style. I am returning these for a larger pair! I gave this item 3 stars for comfort because they are too small and therefore not too comfy. When I get the other pair, I'll be able to give it a better rating, I'm sure.
