These are valuable shoes in a world of less than valuable shoes. My perspective - I have had both of my knees completely replaced and have had 16 vertebrae surgically fused with the full array of screws and harrington rods. What these shoes do right - they have a modified rocker sole which takes pressure off the knees, they are wide and deep enough to accompany orthotics, they are comfortable for medium distance walking (2-3 miles), and if you polish them up, they are presentable with twills and chinos in a business casual office setting. My feet and ankles do not hurt after a full day. What could be improved - if you wear these shoes every day, they will last about six months or so and the wear will show up in the sole that supports the ball of the foot. They could also be more stylish. Like most comfort shoes, they look like robusto cigars. I could not live without the Drew Toledos. I work full-time and have been referred to as a 'high functioning' person with disabilities ... so that is what they call working a 55 hour week.

This shoe looks pretty good for a comfort shoe and mostly, it is indeed comfortable. It makes the bottoms of my feet feel great. However, the upper part of the shoe cuts into my ankle at multiple points. If I take a long walk in these shoes, they draw blood. Finally, these shoes have a hugely noisy squeak. It is really spectacular. These shoes are expensive, so I am taking them down to three stars.

Are really pleased. Husband has hard time finding nice looking shoes that will fit any more. We were able to get him a really nice pair of dress shoes and another pair of nice looking shoes he can wear either for for dress or dressy casual. It was challenging, but the customer service representatives were absolutely tops. Thank you!

Bought these for my husband who has had both knees replaced and wide (4E) feet. He objected to price but they have been so good for him, we'll buy again. They can be polished and do fine for work but also go more casual. He's happy with them in all respects.

I ordered them for my husband who wears a size 15 wide shoe. The shoe is long enough, but not wide. I will return them.

Fit great out of box, no break in needed, wearing them for about a year now.

The shoe appears to be of good quality, however, I found it to be too narrow for me.

They look good. They feel good--I have to use orthotics in any shoe. But just walking in dewy grass made them soak up water like a sponge. Totally wet socks and feet. It's almost like the soles aren't fully attached. I am coating them with weatherproofer now. If that works, then they will have been worth it. Right now, I'm kind of shocked at the issues for nearly $200.

These are very nice looking shoes and I purchased the brown nubuck version of them. However, they are very squeaky and I don't think I could walk down the halls at work without people noticing this. While just walking around my house with them on, I found this pretty annoying. Another person who reviewed this shoe said the same thing, and I am writing this message to corroborate it. I don't know why the quality control people at Drew didn't identify this issue as it is so obvious. I want this company to stay in business as I like the kind of market they are catering to, but I don't want people buying shoes like this either, hence this review.

This shoe is poorly constructed. They are still like new because they are a real problem to wear. Does not fit at all, not comfortable to wear. Had not worn them until recently. Now, I have blisters on my right foot from the whole throat area of the shoe and the vamp section. It also wears a blister on my foot in the heel counter area. The left shoe seems to have similar issues in the throat area. Do not recommend this brand of shoe. I would like to return them.

I had these shoes since October 2017, that's 9 months. I've only worn them to my desk job in the office and the bottom sole has busted out today.
