My husband bought these for me as a surprise and I love them. Their sizing runs a bit 'off' from the other traditional sheepskin Ugg's so when he ordered the 6 they were a little small. Fortunately, the return policy with Zappos is amazing and he was able to exchange them for a 6.5 which fit perfectly (I wear anything from a 5.5 to 7, depending on the manufacturer). I'm trying to make outfits just so that I can wear these boots. I will say that the first day I wore them, my left pinkie toe was a bit sore but I haven't had a problem since then (and is why I gave it a 4 for comfort instead of a 5). They are stylish and so fun. Only the inside bottom has the sheepskin so your toes will stay warm which means these boots will be wearable in the fall, spring, and winter since they don't have the lining all the way up the inside. I highly recommend these boots as they are quickly becoming my go-to pair.

I have what they politely call "athletic calves" and was sick of looking at "wide calf" boots that would still look cute over leggings or skinny jeans. So, I was thrilled to find these leather beauties from Ugg that hit just where I want, and solve my tall boot problem. The furry bottom is great, but I always wear them with socks. They are comfortable as can be from the first wear on, and I know I will be wearing them for years to come. Definitely worth the price for the style and comfort.

I love these boots! I don't understand the reviews about stiff heels. These are so comfortable. Only the footbed has the puffy lining so I wear mine with socks. Because of that, I did not order a size down like I do with typical Uggs. I sometimes have trouble with fitting my calves because I'm so short. These are perfect and hit just below the calf. Perfect with dresses and skinny jeans. Love these boots!

Awesome! I wear a true 8.5 and that's what I ordered - fits perfect! Comfy shoe, great grey color! Nice leather, sturdy ankle support and nice grippy sole (I was originally worried it would be slick). Love! Wish I had money for another pair in brown!

I was expecting a more uncomfortable and clunky shoe after extensively reading reviews on this boot. I'm happy to report that i had no trouble breaking it in. It is stiff leather, as opposed to buttery soft, but I love that it has more of a rugged feel. It is a super stylish, rough yet awesome boot. I got in Black. Couldn't decide between black or charcoal, but they were so close in person, that I just went with black.

I have been waiting for these boots for months! They are gorgeous! I love the adjustable buckle so you can make the calf diameter larger or smaller. Beautiful wood heel and nice rubber sole. I wear a 6.5, ordered a 6.5, and fit into the 6.5, so as far as I am concerned, true to size. They are a little stiff, but I am sure they will loosen up with use.

Not a good choice if you have small calves. Even adjusting them doesn't bring them in much. Yes, it's a beautiful, comfortable boot, for sure. But the other reviewers who love this boot all mention they have wider calves or are shorter women, so take note. I have slim legs and am 5'7", and wow, these were huge on me. My legs were absolutely swimming in them, so they went back.

So disappointed that they run narrower! These boots are so pretty, fashionable and high quality. They just run so narrow. I wish they came in a wide, for I would immediately buy one. Unfortunately, they have to go back.

This boot has the Ugg fluffy bottom which is like giving your feet a hug. It is super comfortable and cute but it does slip in the heel as many super comfortable shoes do. I wanted a boot I could throw on but still look great and think these are it. One small complaint is that a small amount of lug on the sole would make it much more versatile but that's not a deal-breaker.

I was looking for a boot that was "edgy" and modern, but still a classic and had that riding boot style and comfort. Problem was, I already have too many pairs of riding boots and wanted something shorter. I found exactly what I wanted in this boot. I really like this boot overall. My only complaint about the boot itself is that it does seem to run a half size larger. I am a true 9.5 and read every single review about this boot, and did not find the leather to be stiff at all. My only other complaint is that right after I bought this boot at full price at Zappos, it went on sale! :-(

Love the look of the boot but it does feel narrow. It isn't something I would say is comfortable to wear all day and a little bummed that there isn't the normal Ugg lining, you have to wear socks with these. Feel like they are overpriced!

Nice style, perfect mid-calf length. Seem to be well made. My only complaint is that the heel is a bit wide. Not bothersome enough to return, but still mildly annoying.

This is a high quality boot but is not as comfortable as I hoped. I definitely think it runs a little small. I almost always wear a size 8 (or 7.5) and the 8 seemed just a little too short. Ordered the charcoal and it is very pretty but almost black in color.

Let me say, I love the look of these boots! Bought the 11s and they went on a vacation with me the next day. I typically wear a 10.5, so they felt a little large, as they should've. The leather softened up within a few days. The boots were comfortable (no blisters!) through five days of museum strolls and street walking. One disappointment however, the rubber layer of the sole began to separate at the toe, just a few days into my vacation. Sure, I can glue it back together but for the cost I expected a bit better.

I've been looking for a new pair of harness boots since my old Fryes are finally showing their age. I would have ordered the same Frye boot that I'm trying to replace, but the style no longer exists. I have a couple pair of winter Uggs that I love, so decided to try the Gillespie. They're not a true harness boot, but the style is pretty darn cute. I have to send the boots back because they are a half size too small. I normally wear a 7 in Uggs and Fryes, but these ran small. Because I have to send the boots back anyway because of the size, I had to decide whether to exchange them for a larger size or exchange them for another style or brand of boot. It came down to the stiffness of the leather and the boot in general as the reason I finally made the decision to exchange them for a pair of tried and true Fryes. You absolutely cannot beat the workmanship and comfort of Fryes.

Nice looking boot that is very well made. But the leather is extremely stiff and it feels so uncomfortable! These will probably go back.

Great looking boot, however, not very comfortable. I usually wear a Size 8 in Ugg, but may have been able to wear a Size 7.5 in this style. In the Size 8, my heel slid around and probably would have caused blistering. Not in "love" with it. Narrow at the ankle, difficult to get my foot in even though the boot was too big. Going to have to return this one.

These are super cute, but unfortunately they were also super uncomfortable. They felt a half size smaller (easily) than marked. They might have broken in or stretched over time, but I was skeptical since the leather was SO stiff, and frankly they're too expensive to run that risk. No comparison between these and the Gentle Souls and Fryes I bought at the same time to try out, so these went back immediately.

If you plan on wearing thicker socks, they'll feel a tad tight. Might stretch, but pretty hefty leather. These were an almost win. Zappos out of the black, so tried the brown. Wish they were a bit more chocolate.

Took awhile to break in. Received as a gift 2012 Xmas. The right foot's zipper broke today. Kind of spendy for amount of actual hours that they were worn - bummed!

I'm normally a 5 1/2 but these boots were really tight. Also the leather is very stiff which made them uncomfortable... so back they go!! :(

So disappointed when I got these boots. I have tons of Uggs, these are so uncomfortable. Love the look/style, but did not like how loose they are around calf.
