Great bootie. Super comfortable - wore all day out of the box. Looks great. Heel high enough and low enough, but does not look "frumpy." Just discovered Ara - my second purchase.

I'm in love! These are so comfortable that it doesn't feel like wearing heels and they are really cute. I like the v-cut in the front because it looks sleeker when wearing them with skirts/dresses.

This shoe is just as beautiful in person as it is in the picture. However, it was half a size to a full size larger even with socks on, so these are going back. Too bad they've sold out of the smaller size.

I bought these boots for my mom's birthday. Her feet are swollen on many days- still the boots are way too big- the toe box fits fine but the she is way too roomy to be safe for an 89 year old hipster to wear! Too bad- they are adorable! Great Arch support sewn in.

I so wanted these shoes to work! The first time I sent them back was my fault because I wasn't looking at the UK sizing correctly. The second time I sent them back is because it felt like 2 sizes larger than my usual 6.5. This third around I'm sending them back because there's still way too much room in the counter part of the shoe though my toes fit fine. Too bad because I love the cleft and the height of the heel and the black suede had a beautiful napped surface.

These boots are beautiful. I like everything about them. Before I ordered, I read the reviews concerning the sizing. I wear a size 8.5 usually but I ordered the 8 according to what the reviews stated about them running large. The 8 fits me perfectly. I would recommend these to anyone.

They ROCK! I have never written a review before but I had to about these shoes and Zappos customer service. Very cool and soft and so worth the pennies you have to save up to get to get them. They are super comfortable for being that high and look like a star in them. Exactly how they look on the picture is how they look in person. Once again, Zappos got them to me in the next business day! I LOVE THAT! It really makes the excitement linger when you get them so fast and they are perfectly detailed on the web. Thanks again ZAPPOS!

These booties are amazing. I get compliments from both men and women whenever I wear them. They are super comfortable from day one. I love the retro look of the red.

Shame on me for not realizing exactly just HOW metallic these boots are! They seem like they will be comfortable, when I get the correct size. Based on reviews I read, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than my normal 8. Big mistake. They are too tight and short in the toe box. Hopefully the snake print in size 8 will be perfect! Will keep you posted.

The opening was too large that I could slip on the boots without using the zipper. They did not feel like theywould stay put because of this problem. There is not much arch support, but you can put in some orthotics (you cannot remove the insole, though). I do like the style and suede, though. I returned them and bought Munro American Robyn instead. Same design but without the flaws.

ara Tricia in Cotton Snake Print size UK4 (I usually wear size 6.5 US) - I was very surprised at how shiny the snake print was in person -- way too disco for me. When I took it out of the box I thought it looked more like a US 8 and wondered if maybe the wrong size was sent. I can't really say how comfortable it would be to walk in since it didn't fit right. Good grippy sole, but not the look I was hoping for. Disappointing, since I liked the way the front of the bootie is cut with the v to visually lengthen the leg. Zappos is great for returns thankfully.

I wanted to love these boots because they looked gorgeous on the website and out of the box. I ordered a size 8 (I'm a US size 10). However, once I put them on, they were extremely large around my ankles. This might not be an issue if you plan to wear these with pants or jeans, but I'm looking for booties to wear with dresses and skirts -- so the ankle gaping was an issue for me.

I was really looking forward to trying this shoe and brand, but it did not work for me. As other reviewers said, it runs large. I needed a full size down. I also was surprised at how thin the soles were for a comfort brand. I could practically feel my apartment floor through the shoes. Lastly, I thought the "v" in the front would make booties less chunky, but it was too deep and didn't look good on me. Unfortunately, it seems like I have to go to the next price range to get what I want. Aquatalia's here I come!
