I love this suitcase. It is too big (my bad) I should have ordered one size smaller. Once it is full, it is too heavy for airline weight restrictions! There are handles everywhere which are great for lifting and hauling.

We have the salsa air models and, while nice and light, they are a pain in the hotel room. They open in half so they take up a ton of space. My wife has the same and, between the two of us, it was impossible. They also have a netting in them so you can't just jump in and grab something. So, we bought these. We love them. We just did a couple major international trips and they worked great for us. The 1/3 - 2/3 is the way to go. The smaller lid makes it easy to prop up against the wall while you live out of the 2/3 bottom section. They are super light and easy to maneuver after being packed full to 75 lbs. Enjoy!

Purchased large trunk to move son across country to college. Worked well for the dorm stuff. However for vacation travel, I will likely buy a similar trunk but the next size down.

Excellent suitcase. Has an unusual format but is great for odd things that normally is very hard to fit in normal cases...I will purchase the second one soon!
