This is the latest of several Dale sweaters I have given my wife for Christmas over the years, and as always it is the best present under the tree for her. However, while all Dale of Norway sweaters are wonderful, this one was exquisite. As my wife happily declared, "this isn't apparel... this is a work of art!" Expensive? Yes. I was going to get her one that was roughly half the price, and another by Kuhl, Prana, Patagonia, etc. But once I looked at this one online, I decided not to pass it up, and not get a second. (Of course, I later ordered a second sweater and some earrings on Dec 23rd anyway, because you can't have only one present for your wife on Christmas, and of course, Zappos had it to me on Christmas Eve.) The fit, styling, and attention to manufacturing detail is astonishing on this sweater... it takes your breath away. Dale sweaters remain fashionable for years, perhaps decades, and this one will eventually be inherited... but by whom? We'll see who treats us the best in our declining years.

What a stunning sweater! An extravagant gift to myself, I do not regret it. It fit me very well, too. I was surprised since I wear a petite and the sleeves/length in most sweaters are too long. A great risk, I am pleased these fit well. As others noted, the detail is fine and unique. Functionally, this is extremely warm!

I bought this sweater in Norway in the Spring. This is one of the most beautiful sweaters I have ever owned. The fit and style is very flattering, and the wool is fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about this sweater.

Likes: Classic design, fitted & not baggy, not itchy, can be layered & worn like a jacket or zipped up & worn by itself. Both colors (red & blue) are gorgeous but only had red at the time of purchase. Just my opinion, make your own, I think the red seems a little matronly but the blue appears to be a younger look. Dislikes: maybe a tad short so if you have a long torso, maybe too short. Little expensive but I lucked out & purchased on sale. Overall: A keeper!!

This is a beautiful sweater. The style is so flattering. I bought it in the ruby red and it is gorgeous. Warm and well made. It is expensive but I bought it on sale which helped a lot!
