Customer Reviews New Balance MX623v2

I've worn 6 pairs of the 623's in 134E size and they have all fit exactly the same. This is the first pair of 623v2's I've ordered and the 13 4e feels like a 12 D. They are visibly smaller as well. I'm hoping that this was just a miss-label at the factory, but have to send them back.

Bought these to replace New Balance MX623. New Balance made these cheaply and they started to fall apart in 2 months! They still felt great, but where I glued the toe piece back on looks crappy! Loved the old MX623, no quality here.

I have to agree with previous reviews that New Balance is on the way down. They are going in the wrong direction. For over 30 years I was able to count on New Balance shoes (regardless of the style) to be true to size and impeccably made. Things are the exact opposite now. Poorly constructed compared to prior years and inaccurately sized. Just overall terrible. Unfortunately this seems to be the case across the product line with the exception of their Professional Baseball and Umpire shoes. It seems since they got the MLB contract to provide footwear to Major League Baseball, they have totally concentrated there and let their retail product line go straight down the tubes.

Many shoes today are made for pronation. I have a problem with supination. I have found that many New Balance shoes have good support on the lateral side of the heel to help with supination. This shoe does that for me. I love these shoes!

These are nice comfortable shoes at a good price. They fit well and looked good out of the box but I returned them. The leather on these shoes is a split leather or suede like finish I figured they would look really bad in a very short time with normal daily use. I think the suede like finish will not wear well stain easily and would be difficult to clean and maintain com-paired to a smooth finished leather shoe. Because I bought these to be an everyday type of shoe and I care about my general appearance and the way my shoes look these were not a good choice for me. Zappos was absolutely wonderful and understanding about the return. Thank you, Zappos!

Ok so I recently started a job where you can wear jeans to work all week, I then get the great idea that what if I found a pair of sneakers that would look good with jeans and be able to pass for shoes? The Sneaker/Shoe idea was born! The NB 623 are those shoes comfortable and relaxed but no one knows I am in sneakers. These shoes changed my life!!!!

My husband wears a wide shoe and this style was a perfect fit for him. We are very happy with our purchase. He wore these shoes on vacation and was comfortable. These are a good value for the price.

Good shoe. I walk 10K to 15K steps a day to keep my blood sugar stable. I am currently TYD in Almaty, Kazakhstan which is a very hilly city. It handles the hills well. Zappos had this available a lot less than one other on-line shoe store I checked. Great service. Got delivery quickly as needed just before I had to leave the States.

My shopping experience with Zappos was new to me. I had the original New Balance 622 cross trainers but, like many successful items on the market, New Balance decided to replace it with the 623 and 624 models. The shoes are nice albeit not as nice as the original 622 model.

I have owned many pair of New Balance shoes. It seems to me that the sizing has become unreliable and the workmanship has slipped.

As a Long time New Balance fan, I was disappointed with this first and second pair of 623's. The Blue Sole came unglued from the bottom of the shoe. One pair...Maybe. But the second pair 8 months later, no way. Something went wrong in the making of this model. They are no longer made in the U.S. My 608v2 are still usable as are my 662's (old, scuffed but still favorite)from 12 yrs ago.

Very poor quality materials and construction. I have been wearing these shoes for 2 months and they are starting to fall apart. Wear holes inside, stitching coming apart outside. Large separation between outside of shoe and the rubber sole. Keep in mind that I work in an office, and am not subjecting these shoes to extreme conditions. Honestly maybe the cheapest quality shoes I have ever owned. I have worn New Balance for many years, but I'm telling you guys...this is it. These are not the shoes you remember. They're total crap.

Ordered 4 pairs of these shoes and am returning 3 pairs. Quality is awful - crooked tongues, misaligned toes, cheap materials, exposed stitching that irritated my feet as soon as I put them on. These were fairly decent shoes when they were made in China. Now they're made in Indonesia and Vietnam and quality is unacceptable. This is my last time I will order New Balance shoes.

Great shoe, I've been wearing these for years and this pair didn't disappoint as a replacement!

Out of all the 623 models this shoe fits my foot to the "T" love this shoe. I would highly recommend this shoe.

This is my second tome using Zappos and the customer service has been excellent every time. On my first order I made an error on my shoe size, but Zappos immediately mailed my correct size shoe to me, before I had returned the incorrect pair. I just don't see that kind of service and trust in any company I have ever dealt with online.

I purchased two pairs of these New Balance shoes, one for myself and one for my employee. My employee's pair was defective, ripping out of the top of both shoes. I called and they quickly sent a replacement pair at no charge, of course.

My husband has been wearing new balance for a few years. Great sneakers. They provide great support. I love Zappos, have been ordering through you for years.

Shoes are great, finally large enough and very comfortable. The customer service at Zappos is without a doubt the best I have ever dealt with.

I have nothing to say about Zappos except positive comments. You have accomplished the task of training a great customer service staff. I have told several friends about your internet site. You will have my business in the future.

I have been wearing the New Balance MX623 shoes for the last eight years. And they have worked out very good for my daily two mile walks. I change to new ones every six months.

I'm a big guy and need a solid shoe. Always fit comfortable from day one. I have been ordering this type of shoe for years and always satisfied.

Happy with New Balance. If someone has a hard to find address I suggest they opt for a signature upon delivery. Our order was left at a neighbors.

I have big feet 13 4E. I cannot get my size and style in any store. I do not often buy shoes, but when I do it is Zappos!
