I am in love. So I have been doing research the past week and looking for the right fringe boot. I am 5'10" with wider calves (16") when I measured. I was nervous because people were saying they were tight. They fit perfect. I am normally a 9.5 and I got a 10. I can wear my big fuzzy socks and fit my jeans in the boots. They have a zipper so be careful when you zip them up...they are hand made so there are errors. I found one when I zip up my boot they stopped at a certain point. After ruling out that it wasn't me...I did some closer looking and the stitching went a bit to far and was catching. Solved it with a pocket knife in about 30 seconds. Love the fringe and it all came protected. Better yet I ordered them yesterday and they were at my door at 2pm today. Crazy (I only paid for standard shipping). I might have to put my Dr Scholls in the bottoms but other than that I love them. I got dusty brown suede and they are a bit darker than the picture. Also they come up to my mid calf which is good considering how tall I am! Thanks Zappos!

Just got these boots the other day and I really love them. They are a fun alternative to Uggs. That being said, if you've never worn Minnetonka's before, they can be a tricky fit because many of their styles don't come in half sizes. I normally wear a 7 1/2 and I ordered these in a 7. They start out very snug and narrow, but will eventually conform to your foot for a perfect fit. The best thing to do is wear them around the house 2-3 days with a pair of thick socks. They will quickly give and become very comfortable. My foot is not narrow by any means and I was afraid with my first pair that they just did not fit. With the encouragement of a friend who was experienced with the brand, I kept them and continued to wear them in hopes that they would stretch. I'm so glad I did and I am happy to add these to my collection!

This is my second pair of Minnetonka boots. I absolutely love them. I wanted a taller pair and in black and this boot fit the bill. Same amazing comfort and durability as my other pair. Love to wear them camping, to festivals and concerts where comfort is king. As other reviews have said, they fit a little smug until you break them in. I wear thin socks. I recommend socks with the black ones because if you don't, your skin will be tinted black.

My daughter loved these. She doesn't really care about arch support, and we don't need really warm boots here in Florida? she has other Minnetonka styles and loves these. We have thick calves, but these fit great. The fringe is cute and the shaft height is good with skinny jeans or dresses. May have to get them in another color too!

These are some of the cutest boots I have ever owned! I love them and can't wait for the temperature to head down so I can pull them out of my closet. My only issue is with the sizing. I ordered a 9 and they were SO snug! My toes were literally bumping against the front toe seam. I know that is typically an issue with Minnetonka's but just don't see how these will stretch for me to wear the 9. So I have ordered the 10 and it is on it's way, I'm going to keep the 9 and then compare when I get the larger size to decide which one to keep. I have a pair of Minnetonka boots from last year and they were fabulous, I received so many compliments! I highly recommend this brand.

So disapointed. I love these boots but have worn them 3 times and the seams have already started to come apart!

The boots look great, i just wish they came in half sizes. I'm a True size-8.5 and I previously ordered a grey pair in a size 9, and they do stretch, so my 9's are actually quite big now. I ordered the 8 thinking i could stretch them out (because that's what I've done with the size 8 in the 5-layer fringe Minnetonka’s) but because the heel on the 2-layer fringe boot is reinforced, it's a very stiff heel and it hurts to wear (if the boot is too snug). If they didn’t hurt to wear, i would be able to wear them & stretch them out. But i can't walk in them, so I'll never be able to wear them long enough for them to stretch. so if you're a TRUE 8.5, the 8 might not work for you. If you don't mind boots being a bit loose, then i would go with the size 9. If you're a TRUE size 8, then I suggest ordering the 8, because they should fit perfectly. I’m giving it 5 stars because the product itself is fantastic. It’s just the lack of half-sizes that caused me to return it.

Please Minnetonka get your size charts right. I am size 7 in every other shoe company I wear. I could barely fit into this gorgeous boot. I hope a size 8 will be big enough.

Wow! These were a fun purchase. Love these boots. They may look narrow but fit like a glove and will mold to your fit. Very Happy with this purchase. I thought the calf measurement would be smaller but it fit perfect. I did get some Dr. Scholls to make the footbed a bit more cushioned. That's the only improvement that I would suggest.

Perfect! I love these boots. They seemed a bit snug when I first tried them on, my right foot is bigger than my left, so that seemed tight, so I put on thick socks, squeezed them on and walked around the house. They have stretched out perfectly in no time, and now are so comfy and cozy. So easy to slip on and off with the full zip...which is well constructed and sturdy. Great as an indoor...Town boot. Not lined, so my feet aren't sweating. Excellent service! I had ordered them late on a Friday night, and they were on my porch by Saturday.

Like other reviewers have said, that tassle in back does not stay tied. I might need to hot-glue it. With an arch-support insole stuck in, they were very comfortable. They fit snug, and I have a narrow foot, but I believe they will stretch out for wider feet. Super cute with jeans and skirts.

I usually wear a 9-10 so based on other reviews got the 10. That is perfect with thick socks and jeans or leggings, they would probably be a little loose with thin socks. They felt broken in and super comfortable the first time that I put them on. They look great!

I just love my Minnetonka fringe boots. I have bunions so these feel a bit narrow at first. This is my third pair of fringe boots over the years and I know from experience that they really stretch with wearing. As a matter of fact I have a pair that I purchased in a larger size that are now way too big and falling off of my feet. They are soft, very pretty while wearing, look great with leggings or jeans for very slender calves, and last a long time. My calves are more muscular so I just wear them with leggings. They also serve as a "house slipper" that can be worn outside in dry weather. If you can have the toe stretched or worn in then I recommend them to everyone including bunion sufferers!

Great boot -- my daughter's feet are a bit wide, but these stretch nicely once they're broken in. She loves them!

I love these boots! I have a black & brown pair. They run true to size & are very comfortable. I get compliments on them all the time.

I searched high and low for a moc boot that had a zipper. I have a high arch and a bit of a large calf and could not get my foot into the 3-layer fringe boot that doesn't have a zipper. These are absolutely perfect! They are the perfect height & plenty of calf room. The first day or two, they were snug, but they broke in nicely and I wear them several times per week. Super happy with them. :)

My 20 year old daughter loves these boots. They run small; we had to reorder a larger size. She wears them with sweater dresses and tights to work and she looks super cute.

Super cute! Stretches to fit your foot do not order a size bigger! Not uncomfortable at all; however, they aren't supportive, but that's not why I bought them.

My daughter loves these shoes. Her foot is 9 1/4" long and I ordered her a size nine since they run small. She does have almost an inch of growing room, but she is only nine and her feet are growing rapidly. Since it is cold, she wears wool hiking socks with the boots to keep her feet warm and fill the extra space. She says that the boots are a little on the narrow side. The boots do not offer any arch support but they are comfortable. She also said the boots don't rub or flop on her feet even though they are a little big on her. For an adult, you may need to size up on these. We were buying these in children's sizes, but they were always too small in my daughter's regular size so we had to order up. Now her feet are too long for the children's sizes. I intentionally ordered these boots a little too big for her. As much as they cost, and as fast as her feet grow, I wanted her to be able to wear them for a little while. She was able to wear her last pair almost a year and a half. Even as she was close to outgrowing them, they stretched a little so we were able to get a little more use out of them. The Minnetonka boots hold up very well and look great. Most of the time, I spray the boots with a waterproofing spray. It doesn't change the color of the boots. My daughter loves this brand of boot. They are so cute and she always gets compliments on them. The only complaint is that the company doesn't make an adult version of the kids three layer boot. The five layer is similar, but we would prefer three layers. Also, the ties on the back of the boots do come undone occasionally, but the more we tie them, the longer they will stay tied as the cords were a little stiff when they were brand new. When in doubt, buy the boots! I ordered these a few days before Christmas and they still arrived in time for Christmas. Zappos shipping is fast and it's free to return or exchange so it's easy to get what you need.

These are a cute comfortable alternative to Uggs. They can be dressed up or down. They mold to your feet and are an exceptional value. I do wish they come in half sizes though.

I almost didn't order them because of all the reviews that said they were so narrow; I have a very wide (EEE) foot. I decided to give them a try anyway, knowing leather stretches. And I did order up a half size (I usually wear 10, 10 1/2, or 11 and ordered an 11). When I tried them on they were very tight, but after wearing them 2 times, they stretched out. I think if they would have come any wider, by the time they stretched out they would have been too wide. I love these boots! Good quality! Look great! I will be adding more Minnetonka's colors/styles to my boot collection. So happy I ordered them!

Love these boots! I'm so glad they have been around for years; they form to your feet and are very comfortable. I did add a thin, lamb wool footbed to mine, and it helps keep my feet warm. Make sure you put a coat of waterproofing on them and they'll hold up nicely to the weather.
