These shoes are really cute, and I ordered them in my regular size, so I was disappointed they were just a tiny bit too small. Thank goodness Zappos came through though, and the very next day, I had a pair one size larger (European size 39 too small size 40 perfect). They are wide in the ball of the foot, where I need the width, and so comfortable I have been wearing them all afternoon.

I wear my regular size (39) in this shoe and have a high arch. This shoe is very unique in style, but immediately comfortable. I have a very active lifestyle and am hard on my shoes and these look cute, but are also very sturdy. They look good with a variety of casual outfits and, in a pinch, can be "dressy enough".

Very unique and very comfortable. Had to order a full size up, run short. At first one of the ankles was very stiff and rubbed me the wrong way, so I wore them around the house for an evening and now they are quite comfortable. They do not have any arch support so I have to put an insert in, which also helps for my narrow feet. I do wish they would make these in a shoe rather than this low boot, or as a boot in a midcalf length.

i had purchased a pair of Riekers similar to this shoe boot and really liked them so bought these. They are very comfortable and as the foot bed comes out I replaced it with an insert with more support. I am happy with them, I own a number of Remonte/ Rieker shoes and would recommend them to a friend. I will also continue to buy this brand.

I have already reviewed but asked to do it again. So here goes. Rieker boots are the best boots I've ever had. These are the 3rd pair I have purchased. However, sadly, they just don't look good on my big feet and with my skinny legs. I looked like Olive Oyl. So have returned them and waiting for another style which is on back order, so looking forward to getting them.

This is my second pair of Rieker Simon shoes. I also bought the blue/black with fou zipper trim. I absolutely love them and get complimented all the time. Although I have a medium width foot, my foot is a little chunky. These are comfortable and roomy ..might be too roomy for a more slender foot. I love wearing them!

I am SO BUMMED :-( These shoes are so awesome looking and so well made, but they don't fit my feet. It seems like they run a wee bit short, also a wee bit wide in the heel. I tried going up (from a 39 to a 40), but that didn't work either. Such a shame -- I really really wanted them to fit.

This shoe is awesome! It is cute and fits me like a dream. I have really bad feet with bunions but it is shaped in such a way that the shoe fits great. I normally wear an 8 1/2 wide in flats and a 9 wide in running shoes and the 40 fits me perfectly.

My second pair of these types of shoes, this brand. I love my denim blue high top booties so much, I got this pair. They appear wider than the narrow booties but fit the same. True quality brings comfort and longevity. Worth the investment. A new favorite brand.

These were the most comfortable shoes, right out of the box. They don't look clunky on, more like cute clogs. The leather is soft and as is the lining. I loved that they were warm and moisture resistant. The toe bed is wide enough for my 9 M feet. They just fit perfectly. I couldn't ask for more...except that, due to a bad big toe, I need a firm soled shoe and the soles on these are very flexible. I'm so disappointed that I have to send them back.

These booties are great. Quirky, stylish, very comfortable. They fit exactly as they should. Not too big or small. I purchased them because I was looking for something a little different in a black boot. They have a certain edge that I love and they add a little interest to my usual black winter outfits. Definitely worth the money.

I love these boots - funky yet functional. I wore them on a recent trip to Iceland, and my feet stayed nice and warm the whole time. So comfortable, too. I did a LOT of walking on my trip, and my feet felt just fine. They didn't even bother my bunions.

I love these boots - they're very comfortable and look great with skirts. I wish they'd had a style without the red so it was a little more neutral, but oh well. Very pleased overall.

These are very interesting, fun, and very comfortable shoes. Fits well and aren't hot to wear in a FL winter.

I love this boot so much! The style is so unique. Very warm and comfy and true to size. However, I wore them for the first time on a trip to Mi last week and when I arrived I noticed that one of the buttons had come off during my trip. It is the top button and isn't noticed unless you see the other boot at the same time. I'm keeping them since I love them for their great features.

These boots are the best in every way! The style is fun and cool, the quality is excellent. Best of all is the fact that these boots are incredibly comfortable. I have wide feet and a bunion on one of my large toes so I find it very difficult to find nice looking footwear that also feels good. I would highly recommend these boots.

I love Rieker shoes and have a number of pairs. This one looked so cute online, and when I got it, cute in and out of the box. However, when I tried it on, I knew right away it was a titch too big for my foot, particularly my heel. So regretfully, I must return it so someone else may enjoy this shoe.

Instantly comfortable - I did not want to take them off once I had them on, but they are so wide and clunky looking, I really looked like I was wearing a pair of old lady orthopedic shoes, and since I am an old lady, that just wouldn't do. I can always depend on Rieker for comfort and style though, so on to the next pair..

These shoes are SO cute and fun, and they fit me well--I have a foot with wide toes and a narrow heel. I was disappointed to have to return them because there is not enough arch support for me.

I liked the book of these but when i tried them on they looked clunky awkward and boxy. They do seem well made, which I have to say is something unique this season. Wow these other shoemakers are skimping on quality!! But this shoe/boot is classy in a way. Its just too much like maybe a mans boot on a woman would look. This style in a more fitted feminine shape would be great. And why not give a color selection? sending them back and looking at other Riekers.

Really liked the look of these boots and they are well made. I have a foot that runs narrow to medium so they were too wide for me. Also I had to order a size larger because my normal size was too small. Still the arch in my foot didn't quite match where the arch is placed in the foot bed of the boot. I think these would be great for someone with a more standard foot. Sorry I had to return them.

I ordered these boots in a 9M for an upcoming trip that requires a lot of city walking. At first I thought they were a little snug. The width was fine the length seemed a little short. The more I wore them the more I liked them. Now they almost feel like I have slippers on. The leather is soft and while they are a little difficult to get on with my high arch once my foot is in they feel great. I considered going up a size and suggest that you do that if you need to use a footbed or orthotics.

Nice looking. Made well with high quality products. A little wide, but I have extremely narrow feet. Very comfy.

I have no idea how they fit. I could never get my foot into the boot while wearing socks. They have a sort of felt and pull at your sock. They had to go back.
