Perfect easy on easy off boot for me in the winter here in Minnesota. Love the style and practicality.

Living in Chicago, winters can be brutal. Functionality usually trumps fashion, but I could not stand uggs nor heavy, bulky sorels. Having lived in Dr. Martens for years, I found that to be the middle ground between warmth, comfort, and fashion. Unfortunately Dr. Martens don’t really cut it in terms of comfortable warmth because my toes always got cold and the soles were no good on ice. I researched this pair of boots and decided that these still look fashionable as well as much warmer than docs because of the thinsulate and shearling footbed. I was nervous that they’d look too big on me because after measuring my foot and going onto the blundstone website to see which size I should get, it recommended the bigger size out of the two sizes I usually fit between (size 8US/5AU). My feet are long but narrow so it’s difficult to find shoes that fit (either they’re good in width but my toes get crunches or they’re good in length but my feet have a lot of room on the sides). In comparison to docs, I’ve tried their regular and flora Chelsea boots in a size 8US/6UK but unfortunately they looked huge on my feet and the ankles were too wide. If i sized down my toes would have been crunched. I wanted to buy the docs that have fur inside but after reading the reviews the fur does not cover the sole or toes of your foot. When I finally got these in the mail they did look huge on me but after awhile i got used to the look; now they look fine, just a tad bit wide but in reality they fit perfectly. They’re not as sleek as the regular 500 blundstones but they are still lovely and I’m happy with getting the correct size. I feel like I’m walking on a warm cloud. The sole seems well cushioned, the footbed is incredible warm and comfortable, and the ankles fit mine perfectly. These boots feel great, fit great and look great and i know I’ll finally look good and still be warm this winter. They also feel lighter than docs. Please give these a try!

These run HUGE! Purchased for my son. Every shoe in his closet is size 12. Ordered the US 12/AUS 11. Sent back. Ordered US 11/ AUS10. Sent back. Now trying the US 10. I'll update if it fits. Good looking boot, light, well made, comes with 2 insoles- shearling and regular. Thanks to Zappos awesome shipping/return service, customers have the luxury of finding the right fit.

Second pair! Hubby wanted a pair for work and a pair for dress. Indestructible.

I love these boots but you have to wear the right kind of socks with them. I have to wear a thicker sock, thicker than athletic socks, for it not to rub a blister on my heal. Once I found the right sock it was perfect, I was able to walk 10+ miles a day in NYC with no issues at all.

This boot is very comfortable and the lining is very warm! The fact that it is removable is also a nice option.

Love, love, love!!! I've had these boots for two weeks now. I have worn them nearly every day. I wear a women's 8 and ordered the AU 5. They were perfect right out of the box!

I absolutely love my new Blundstones! They are super comfortable and after a foot surgery, I have a foot that is a bit picky. I did remove the lambswool inserts as they made it a tight fit but if they loosen up after breaking them in, I would put them back in. I put in a pair from my running shoes and they are great.

These are my 3rd.pair of Blundstones,these BL584's are the best,they come with a plush inner-sole that makes your feet feel great & snug within the boots.I also like the distressed finish,all my Blundstones look & feel better distressed & broke-in. I want to say that they feel great & fit great right out of the box,that's why I buy them, they seem to be the only boot that needs no breaking-in. Buy a pair, you won't be disappointed.

I have ordered three pairs of shoes from Zappos. I have been satisfied with all three and the shipments are timely, and I have always received my order without any hitch whatsoever.

As promised by other reviews, these boots are very comfortable. Great for walking and hiking. They look terrific and need no break in.

I love these boots so much. I live in Chicago and it has been a particularly cold and snowy winter. I wear these out in just about any weather condition and they have not failed me yet. My feet have been snug and warm and dry. Pros: utilitarian trendy, able to withstand any weather conditions, long-lasting, warm. Cons: the boot is a little heavy (but aren't all snow boots?), some blisters when wearing them in but nothing too serious. I'd highly recommend these. I know I will be wearing them for years to come.

These are great boots until about four years when the sole starts to disintegrate. Seriously, the uppers wear great and look great, however the sole will start to come off in huge pieces and breakdown and become very sticky. This has happened to two pairs that I have owned and to two pairs that a friend bought after I recommended them to. Due to how Blundstone manufacturers the boots, your local shoe repair place cannot repair them. I found a place in Salem, Oregon (I live in Chicago) that will do it and appears to be the only place in the US that does it. These boots were bought around 2002 or 2003 so I do not know if Blundstone has addressed this issue. If you search on line you will find large amounts of comments about this issue and even Blundstone addresses it on their website. They seam to have updated / upgraded their warranty / guarantee as well.

I finally found the boots I've been wanting for...well, for quite some time. These boots are awesome, even with the bunion the size of a mountain on my left foot, the boot feels great. I love them and highly recommend. I ordered a women's size 7, which is the size I most normally wear, depending on that nasty bunion! I also want to give a major shout out to Zappos for the speedy delivery. I have been ordering from them for years and have never been disappointed. Ordered these boots and received them the next day! How do they do that?!

I love these shoes. I was looking for a casual winter shoe with a thick sole and this is perfect. They keep my feet warm if I'm outside in the cold for a while. They look good. I have wide feet so getting them on is not always quick BUT I will say the more I wear them the easier they are to slip on.

Awesome boot. I have a hard time finding comfortable, but sturdy work boots, but was able to wear these walking and working all day the first day I had them without any painful repercussions. The soles are springy and the shoes are light enough that these boots are easy on the back, hips, and knees. The sheepskin insole feels fantastic. They fit snugly around the ankle. The warmth is good, but not too hot to wear anytime for me. I like them so well I wear them to town, too, even though I bought them for outdoor farm work. If you want to keep the color, find some leather dressing besides oil or beeswax cream...these will darken the leather substantially. Really glad to have found these totally comfortable work boots!

On the advice of one of the reviewers, I bought these shoes 1/2 size down and because my size (5 Australian for size 7 American) was unavailable. The size 4.5 was way too small. I think size 5 would have fit perfectly even with thick wool socks. By the way, I am a standard size 7 and have narrow feet. Since the shoe was so tight, I cannot accurately comment on the comfort (I indicated 3 stars just because the the computer system requires a rating before a review can be submitted). I'm hoping Zappos will have my size soon.

Loving my "Blunnies!" I just finished a trip to Portland OR. The boats were perfectly waterproof, and still fit with my business attire. They are comfortable and the leather has required no maintenance so far- just a wipe down here and there. Sizing felt true (I wear a 10.5).

Well made and super comfortable. They do run a bit big, at least by one half US size. The loops to help pull the boots on are hard to grip and nearly impossible to put a finger in. Maybe over time this will wear into better functionality.

Perfect classic boots. Excellent for weekends in the northwest. I was afraid they would flop around on my foot since they're slip-on, but they have a nice snug fit through the ankle. The fur lining is a great touch and easily removed for warmer weather. Very high-quality feel overall, even at the somewhat high price. Bought these for myself and I usually wear a 7.5/8 woman's, but ended up in a 4.5 in these. Tough to size, but highly recommended.

These are beautiful boots. They just didn’t fit me correctly. They were a lot narrower than I would expect of a unisex shoe, and even though I checked the suggested size carefully, were quite a bit too long.

I usually wear a women’s size 8W. I ordered the size indicated by the chart. (Women’s 8/ men’s AU 5). I thought that a unisex size would be perfect for my wide toes. The shoes were way too long, and much narrower than I expected in the toe area. The leather quality is very nice. If the length had been correct, I might have tried having them stretched.

I really wanted to keep these boots, but had to return. Once I got them on I didn’t want to take them off, but because of the difficulty getting them on and off they had to go. I needed another person to help me get them off! My feet are small as are my ankles. I shouldn’t of had that problem. I suggest maybe a zipper or better design might help. I sized up 1/2 shoe size which should have helped..
