I really love these boots and think they are incredibly comfortable. However, after only 4 months of use, one of the pull tabs on the back of the boot tore off. The pull tab is pretty essential to getting the boot on. I contacted Blundstone directly, and their response was that the tab isn't covered under warranty, and that I should just sew it back on myself. Blundstone did not care at all about backing up their product or helping me out. Thankfully, I bought the boots from Zappos and their customer service was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and immediately processed an exchange for me. If I hadn't bought the boots from Zappos, I would have been out of luck. So lesson learned, if you buy these, do not buy direct!!! Use Zappos. They are the best. Hopefully the next pair lasts a little longer.

After trying on numerous shoes in this brand and others of a like style, I finally was able to try on this shoe. I've still only worn them around the house, but they are very comfortable and warm. I have bunions, pronation, toes that go to sleep, etc and these shoes do not exaserbate any of these problems. Give 'em a go.

Best boots I’ve ever worn. Jog in them if you want, who cares, they deliver exceptional comfort. Have a job where you stand a lot? Slip these bad-boys on your feet and stand the day away. Don’t expect your feet to be tired or your back to hurt — not gonna happen. I’ve been wearing Blundstones exclusively for 10 years (since they were made in Australia). There is no better boot. I currently own 3 pair: original 500s, a pair of the square-toe (pictured) and a pair of the leather-lined version. Great boots, great style, enjoy.

You'll live in these... if you get the sizing right. I'm so glad I bought through Zappo's--super helpful and easy returns. Found these 584s ran large. I'm usually a 8.5 US Women's and have a narrower foot so I purchased the 6 AU looking for a roomier boot. I have the non-insulated version of these (585) in 6 AU and those fit me. When comparing the insulated (blue tag) and non-insulated boots in the same size (6 AU), the insulated one is about 1/2 inch longer. These didn't come with an extra liner unlike the 585s but it shouldn't be a problem to put one under the shearling. Blundstone says their half sizes only affect the width of the shoe (not the length). Patience is key! Be prepared to try multiple pairs. But when it fits, it's a beautiful thing.

I liked these boots so much, I got them in black, too. They are very comfy, very durable, waterproof, warm, and roomy. They could be a tad too roomy, so I wear a thick sock. The roominess could be due to the fact that I got a half-size, and I see one reviewer says that Aussie half sizes are just wider. Anyway, the roominess works for me as it is no problem to remove the insert and fit my custom orthotic. These boots are replacing my timberland chelseas as the Blundstones are clearly a step up in comfort, build, and support (looks are about =). I wear these with jeans Fall, Winter and Spring. Love them.

I love these freaking boots. I want to buy five more pairs so I never have to wear anything else ever again. But seriously. Bought the 'rustic brown' style. Could not possibly be happier. I wear them with either my blue or black skinny jeans and they look great either way (I mean that objectively, not to toot my own horn). I use the shearling insoles on colder days when I'm working (playing) in the snow but most times I use some store bought inserts. I would not consider the shearling insoles a negative because they are very comfy and nice to have. Otherwise I have thick Carhartt socks that fit great with the boot or I typically wear crew length Nike support socks. That's another thing; it seems like my feet are a little thin compared to others so I might have just a centimeter more to spare than the average person as far as the width and interior room of the shoe is concerned. Seeing as this is meant to be a rugged work boot I really don't see anyone having trouble fitting a thicker sock (with store bought inserts) into these boots. That might be an issue with the default shearling insole, though, so be prepared to buy inserts to properly utilize the full potential of these shoes! You will not be disappointed.

Heavy duty boots. The thinsulate and included shearling insoles make these the heaviest, warmest option of Blundstones. I ultimately returned these for a lighter pair, just because I was looking for boots that would be comfortable for my winter commute (I walk about half an hour each way) but also for being indoors all day. I'd definitely consider these, though, for outdoor work (including just having solid, warm winter boots for shoveling or other outdoor chores.)

These seem great, I'm just not sold on the color. Kinda felt like I was going to work on the farm. I own the black 510 in a size 8 (5) and I ordered these in a size 7.5 (4.5)and they fit perfectly. I tried these in an 8 (5)and they were too big and too small in a 7 (4) You can see the comparison in the pics. Also the inside of the thermal rustic brown says 5.5 and the shearling insert says 5. I wear in 8 in bogs, teva, hoka bondi.

I ordered a 9 (6 AUS size) they were a little too big and bulky. Not the right size for me. They are warm though. They are great boots, comfy and warm- I wish they were a little more feminine though.

Beautiful and well made, but too narrow for my wide feet and Morton’s neuroma. Still searching for my boots.

These were so warm and comfy right out of the box. The footbed is a little wide but that's ok because I'll be wearing with thicker socks. I am between a 7.5 and an 8 and the AU size 5 fits perfectly. Love these. Can't wait to see how they work through the really cold months.

The best! Couldn’t design them any better! Toasty warm, super comfortable, and they truly are a multi purpose shoe (work boot/ wear out to dinner boot) whatever you’re into, this boot is awesome. Do yourself a fave, if you’re even slightly considering buying this boot, and you’re reading reviews to verify if its a good choice, DO IT. Thumbs up here!

Just got these boots for my time in New York during the snowy winter. The boots are super waterproof and have great grip for walking on snow and ice. Very warm!!

These are my everyday winter boots. They are easy to get on and off, no laces to mess with, warm in the snow, but not too warm indoors. They feel like I am wearing my bedroom slippers. The fit and finish looks like a quality product and I expect these shoes to last several years. The sole is well made in that they grip well on slippery surfaces but don't track in much mud. I will buy the uninsulated version of these boots for the summer. They aren't cheap but worth every penny.

Single best pair of shoes I've ever owned. I didn't know a pair of shoes could be so simple and effective for just about everything. I'm only two weeks in, but damn these things are comfy, convenient, and just utility enough to wear in the office and field. The shearling footbed is great for the snow, and can be swapped out when you don't need that warmth. A decent pair of socks (Darn Tough) and you don't have to think about your winter foot ware ever again. It's been -20 round these parts, but my feet are always warm and dry. Grippy too. Definitely err on the smaller end of your size range. I fluctuate between a 8.5 and 9 depending on brand, and the 8.5 is sort of goldilocks with just a little extra space your toes to breathe. Really though, I don't really wear anything else now. Laces are for chumps.

Comfortable tough shoe I use nearly every day for the office and visiting construction sites. Picked up a few nicks but they've held the waterproofing and the sole is the toughest I've seen. Been through all kinds of weather too and while I was worried about overheating based on other reviews, I've not noticed any issues. Will probably buy a back up pair.

I normally wear 10.5 boots and shoes but ordered a women’s 11 in this boot because of past experience with Blundstones running small. They feel quite sloppy and require wearing a bulky sock or an additional insole under the wool insole to take up some room. I’m wearing them for chores in my sheep pens this winter and am pretty happy with the insulation, waterproof leather and ease of slipping them on and off so will put up with the sizing issue, but I wish Blundstone would offer real half sizes in their boots.

I have these in the dress boot and i love them. Needed the thermal pair for dog walking in michigan and these are fabulous. I got the same size in both. The thermal are a little more snug due to the thermal liner and footbed. Blundstone half sizes only make the shoe wider not longer so if you have a wide foot go with your normal whole size then add the .5. I have a wide foot like really wide and the 7.5Us size 4.5 Australian size is perfect.

They fit snugly. No problem there. I got them to have something to wear in cold weather, and they fit the bill. My only criticism is, the advertised Thinsulate^R layer covers only the vamp. Could have been extended higher.

Best purchase ever. I moved to mountain community and this is my first insulated casual boot. These are warm and comfortable in our cold winter climate here. Love the Sherpa lines foot bed. I ordered a size 12, but feels more like a 12.5. Plenty of room in the toe box for wider feet.

I typically wear a size 8, ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly! I love my Blundies! These are the most comfortable right out of the box. They are snug getting in however I believe that will get better with time!

So far, so good! These boots are a little snug around the ankle, but so have all my other Chelsea style boots until they break in. My toes have room to wiggle but the boot still feels secure. Im a size 8, ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly. I suspect if these boots didn’t have the fuzzy (removable) footbed they MIGHT be a little big. However, I got these to wear thick socks and keep my feet warm! I’m happy!
