This slip is awful, and I'm baffled by the positive reviews. the main problem is the built-in panty. Buyer beware -- it creates a panty line! Isn't this what a slip like this is supposed to eliminate?! This is probably my last Spanx purchase. Spanx has been so overrated for so long in the media, that people just assume it's a great product. The reality is, so many of their products are just weird and subpar. I'd love to discover another shapewear company that actually delivers, and isn't completely overpriced, either!

I bought this because I purchased the cami before and loved it. I wore under a dress I purchased on here for a wedding. I love it, it's comfortable and does the job of shaping me and smoothing some problem areas, it also helps with my back and posture. I think it was worth spending the money. I find that the Spanx brand of shape wear is the best! I'm a size 10-12 and I bought the medium, and it fits fine. I'm bigger on top and smaller in the bottom so I had no problem wearing the medium size.

Wow, made me look fabulous and smooth in the dress I wore to a wedding recently! Was relatively comfortable over the day/evening (given that I was wearing a compression garment). My only complaint is that there is a nifty panty inside the slip, but it's super hard to position it after using the bathroom, and also it hooks with tiny hook/eyes which are almost impossible to attach without major contortionist escapades.

This slip would be excellent except the built in panty shows panty lines. Because of this, I will be returning. If they can make it without the built in panty, I would rate it 5 stars.

I really like the style of this slip, as I only want smoothing control around the midriff, but hate hate hate having lumps above or below my midriff caused by shorter control tops. This slip does the trick for me. Also I'm a chesty girl and when the material covers my breasts it can be difficult to breathe! So this slip is great and perfect for low cut dresses as well. The only problem is that awful built in panty, it just does not work at all. You can't wear pantyhose or tights because of it, which irritates me a lot. I am 5'9", 160lb, 36DD, size 10. I got a medium and it fits perfectly.

I was looking for a full slip to create a smooth look under a jersey knit dress. This was not the shape-wear for me. Two major problems, there's a built in panty not sure why it's a slip so I could see the panty lines through the slip and my dress. Second problem the straps were set too far out on my shoulders and dug into my underarm. Poor design.

I had read reviews about with others complaining of the built in panties showing lines. I had the same issue when I tried it on. I thought I would be able to just cut it out, but it would not have worked since the whole inner lining is like a body suit. I was super disappointed with that. I wished it could have been body suit optional.

I love this line, your clothes slide over them and they do the job well in sucking you in. The slip is great because you can go to the bathroom in it, and still be able to get it back on by yourself.

The sizing is off. I have worn an 8/10 for years. I could not get the medium on at all. I would say purchase one size larger than you think you should...plus the panty thing looked like it was going to be a drawback.

6'1", 200lbs, size 14 The panty is uncomfortable and the whole contraption hurts my back but it does the job. Expensive.
