Wide enough for my wide'ish foot, but half to full size too long. I wear 7.5-8 and the 8 feels like a 9.

This shoe will not keep your feet warm in cold conditions. Wore it in NYC January conditions, 30 degrees plus and Vermont, 10 degrees plus and my toes have never been so numb. I am so bummed because these are the most COMFORTABLE shoes I have ever worn. Gave a low comfort rating because my toes went numb. Traction is also great. But - they let the cold in from the bottom. I even bought wool socks but they made no difference. Very very disappointed. Also love the way that they look. Going Utah this weekend and can’t trust these to see me through - leaving them at home.

I was really hoping to like these boots but they felt like Zero arch support to me. Even putting in my orthotics didn’t help much. I had to send them back.

These are really comfortable considering they’re hiking boots. I wore them in the snow and at a lake. They’re truly waterproof and held up well during my activities. And super cute too, I got a few compliments.

These boots are extremely comfortable and were easy to take long walks in right away, like sneakers. I do feel like they are a tiny bit too warm for walking long distances over 40 degrees, but are comfortable at any lower temperature. The boots did seem to big in the toe initially but that hasn't really bothered me once I started using them.
I'd also recommend:

I got a little bamboozled by all the reviews saying these run large and ordered a pair that was too small at first. I wear a 6 in both Ecco and Converse, and the 6.5 was perfect for me in these. So I guess it depends what brands you usually wear etc. Once I got the right size though these were amazing. Super light and grippy, comfy straight out of the box, and strangely stylish for hiking boots. I keep wearing them around the house because I don't want to take them off!

Loved this boot. Had to return the black and purchase a different color since a smaller size was sold out. I recommend ordering at least a half size to possibly a whole size smaller.

These are warm, comfortable, and true to fit. The moderate arch support is also true. These cannot double as hiking boots. The soles are too pliable.

Took these newbies out on a 5 mile difficult level hike and they were fantastic. I brought a back up pair of shoes in my pack just in case I needed them at some point but they stayed tucked away. I was crossing a creek on logs and slipped in a bit. Water just rolled off and my feet stayed dry. In regular athletic shoes my feet would have been soaked. Very happy with these and can't wait to hit the next trail in them.

Normally, I buy 10W or 10.5 but this brand does not have W. Hint to North Face - please make wide shoes! I ordered 10 and 10.5 and kept 10 because I have a feeling that these shoes run rather large. I give 5 stars because the shoes look awesome, they are very comfortable and well made.

Great boots! They were a last minute purchase for a trip to Red Rock State Park where I climbed a mountain. The boots were super comfy - and didn't require the comfort heal support I usually need. They are also durable and stylish enough - not a fan of the two-tone shoe strings but you get an extra pair in black. During the same trip, we encountered heavy rain and light snow and the boots held up beautifully. I recommend them and would order another pair in a different color.

My daughter liked these but said they ran small. Felt more like a sneaker than most hiking boots. Very cute.

Originally I got my normal shoe size of 8.5 but had to return for an 8. Other than that, these are great hiking boots and very stylish!!!!

This shoe felt comfortable right out of the box, even while wearing thicker wool socks. Waterproof and insulated. Good tread, too. Just what I needed for upcoming snow and ice travel.

Hmm, will such cool styling ever come in the mens version I wonder. Awesome color schemes, eyelet-less lacing. Women got it nailed this one, so jelly!!

Great for my daily hikes in Tilden Park in Berkeley ( also love the name of these!) Recommend wearing these with thicker ankle socks for comfort and support. Bringing these with me this summer when I hike the Great Wall of China!

These boots are amazing! I'm always on my feet all day and the ortholite in these boots makes my feet very happy! Not bulky, super cute and stylish!

Love these boots! Stylish and comfortable. They are waterproof and offer some insulation. Not great for arch support but then neither are a lot of shoes - if you need extra arch support I recommend buying insoles. Low-top ankle that does offer a fair amount of ankle support as well. Good for casual wear or light walking/hiking. Not a true 'hiking' boot, though, so don't go trying to wear these out on the Appalachian Trail or anything like that! I'm confused by some of the previous reviews and saddened that apparently those reviewers were misinformed or didn't even ask, re: returns. I used to work for the company (haven't in about a year and a half) and the return policy didn't require that you have a receipt to return an item (however, without one you were only given store credit) and we didn't have a 60 day time limit on returns (there was NO time limit) however if they were very worn/used then obviously we wouldn't take them back because we can't resell used shoes (I used to always recommend to customers to walk with them around the store, in their house, indoors, etc) for a few days. This keeps the soles much more protected from getting worn and gives you a chance to feel the shoes, break them in a bit, and decide if they truly are right for you. If you buy them and get them muddy and the soles scraped up and then try to return them then yeah...you're out of luck.

These boots are warm and comfortable for walking around town in the winter, and where I live it snows quite a bit and it's often in the 20s (and sometimes well below that). With a pair of wool socks, I expect to be fine all winter with these. They do not offer a ton of support, so I don't recommend walking far in them. But it does mean that they are pretty lightweight.
