It's hard to get my husband to go shopping, including shopping for shoes. He's had foot surgery for bunions (at least on his most severely disfigured foot), so his old shoes no longer fit. He also wears orthotics, but has a narrow foot. He was convinced that no shoe (particularly mail order) could fit. We did order Eccos previously and he didn't find they worked for him (chalk up one "I told you so"). Another meeting passed where he didn't have proper dress shoes to go with his intended slacks and jacket combination and I felt compelled to try another order (thank goodness for Zappos' return policy). Naots is on his podiatrist's list of recommended brands. This one was a success. My husband even felt the inserts that came with the Naots were almost more comfortable than his orthotics. Yay!

These were super comfortable right out of the box. For someone that struggles with feet issues and has to wear inserts in most shoes, I'm able to wear these all day long without issue. That said, the quality of the shoe is poor. The first pair I had to send back within 2 months because the stitching came out. The second pair, which I've worn about 18 months on a daily basis, are literally falling apart. The soles are very worn down, the support in the bottom has nearly completely flattened out and the stitching again is starting to come apart in places. I don't expect perfection, but I would expect a shoe in this range to last 2+ years before replacement.

The problem with these shoes is in the style. Too many women at work were left with tingling stomachs, which led to much unwanted attention. To the designers of this shoe, we had to put up wet floor signs around the office, hire an additional janitor to man another mop and it got way, way out of hand with the hormones floating around. I have since returned mine, I cannot live with the pressure and hype that comes with such a stellar design.

The material is very comfortable and flexes as you walk. Perfect for jeans and for business casual. Love the shoes

Fit was excellent. Have received many complements for these as well. My first pair of Naots and this will be a go-to brand from now on. Was a little reluctant to try these at first but my wife loved them on me. Have been wearing them daily to the office and they have held up exceptionally well.

Very comfortable. Great looking casual shoes. Heel contrast upscales the shoe a little. Very comfortable. a wide looking toe box. very for somewhat dressy-side of casual or with jeans. Sure there are cheaper / less expensive options for this, but fit the bill for me.

Great looking shoe, build quality seems good as well. Really like the gray suede with worn leather accents. Goes well with a blazer and blue jeans. Actually ordered the black and the gray. The black was a stiffer leather and was slightly narrower although the toe box was probably bigger than a normal medium. I normally wear a wide shoe so they were just a bit too narrow. The gray were much softer and wide enough to fit. Would not recommend these for narrow feet.

These looked great and felt good but they make an annoying creaky sound with every step so unfortunately I had to return them.

Loved these pair of shoes at first. They looked great but they fell apart quickly. First the stitching on the front and then the rubber on the heel wore down super fast. Such a shame but I would not recommend these as every day shoes.

Love the look BUT They Squeak when I walk in them! I sound like a total moron when I walk in my office. I have to send them back, this is completely ridiculous. Seriously how can anyone spend this kind of money for shoes that make this kind of noise.

These are so very comfortable and dressy. I have both colors. Best shoes I have worn in many years. Top notch.

My husband loves these shoes. The color is beautiful, and they have been comfortable enough to wear all day.

Comfortable shoe for long days. Wears well and ages gracefully. My 4th pair (different colors) over the years!

Like another reviewer, I have husband with a messed up foot: fused large toe joint and a shattered heel that's been put together with screws. He has a very hard time finding comfortable shoes that don't bother his feet after wearing for a short period. He does have to wear a thin sock for him to have enough room in the ball of the foot but once the shoes stretch he may have a little more room. After wearing around the house for a few hours we went ahead and ordered them in a second color. The soles have a nice grippy feel which is always a plus when you're not a spring chicken.

It took a day for these handsome shura & me feet to fall in love. Perfect combo of support & comfort.

It’s hard to say if they are true to size, as I wear a 13 W in U.S. sizing. This is the 2nd pair of Naots i’ve Purchased and had t buy a 14 in each as the 13 was too small. Toe box a little roomy, but very comfortable and supportive. I can’t walk around barfoot without pain so it is great to have comfortable supportive classy shoes!

Awesome shoes, glad my wife suggested buying Naot. These feel great. Better than using my custom orthotics and the Protalus which feel better than my custom orthotics, but not as good as the Naot. A very nice looking shoe!

Second pair of these shoes in a different for. Love my Naots. Very comfortable, and supportive, with a great insert. Ofc, I remove their great insert for my custom orthotics, cos my orthotics are tailored for my feet. Anyway, it's a very nice looking shoe that can be worn with jeans or on a casual work day. Very roomy. Well made shoe.

I wear a men's size 13 in almost every shoe - Johnston & Murphy, etc. For this shoe, I ordered size 47 (men's size 14 according to this site), and it just fits. If I could get a bit larger, I would as one of my big toes is hitting the end. But, that said, awesome shoe. First day I wore them I received three compliments. Either they look like clown shoes and people were being nice or (as I prefer to believe), they look damn good! Very comfortable - likely will add additional pairs of Naots to my closet!

Comfortable, sharp mix of traditional/new style, good for walking.
