Wow, these things are small. I ordered a half size up and barely got my foot in. It was cutting off my circulation. Guess that’s why all the larger sizes are sold out.

Was really excited to receive my boots ordered a size up based on reviews and I was wrong they are true to the size you would wear but if you have wide feet I would suggest something else and even though I ordered a size up it was a struggle getting them on

I needed these for a specific purpose. I'm planning a trip to Iceland and anticipate a fair amount of walking through a variety of conditions. I'm looking for a pair that might allow me a bit more freedom of movement. Otherwise, it's a serviceable, well constructed boot.

Felt a bit snug.

Not comfortable around ankle -- even with heavy sox.

Attractive boot, but had reservations before ordering it due to size/fit reviews. And, so unfortunately, these were very accurate, and I'm sending these back. Length wasn't an issue - I'm usually around 11 1/2 so I ordered a 12. That was fine, but talk about cramped! The height and width at the front of the boot was way too tight!

I am a size 13, and my left foot is actually about a size smaller. I bought these boots in a 14 (because all of the reviews attested, correctly, that these boots run small). Strangely, the left boot was way too tight on my foot while my right was fine. I checked, and I had two 14s, so I guess the manufacturing is introducing a lot of variance. Either way, they were too uncomfortable to live with.

I think this is overall a good pair of winter boots. However, the size runs much smaller than it is. I am size 8 so considering that I am going to wear think socks I bought half size bigger, 8½. That fits but they are very tight in the toe area and I feel a lot of pressure. I regret that I did not read people's review on this before ordering and I found later that there are many complains about size. I should have gone for one size bigger. So if you want to get these boots, buy one size bigger and you will not regret it. These boots are very warm on the coldest day, though. And for this price these are the very best boots for the money.

These boot have padding in them and as a result, the are a very snug fit. Bought a 1/2 size larger based on the reviews which was necessary. They are very good when it comes to keeping my feet warm!

Was looking for a nice looking waterproof boot that looks a little nicer so I could wear with my dress clothes when making sales calls this winter. I have two a few pairs of North Face hiking boots and shoes - all fit great and were extremely comfortable from the time I put them on. I read some reviews on this boot and they said these fit small, so I ordered a 1/2 size bigger. Was hard to get them on with my dress socks (so boot socks probably wouldn't have worked). I had room in the toe, but the sides were really tight. Also, the part where the rubber toe meets the suede felt really tight on the top of my foot. I wore them around the house for 20 minutes and my foot started to really feel squeezed. Unlike dress shoes - if a boot doesn't feel great day 1 - I'm not interested. This is the second North Face boot (with the rubber/suede combo) that I've tried. Both did not fit right. Would recommend going with a different style if you want to stick with the North Face brand.

This shoe size runs really small and narrow. Buying them online is like a trial and error process. Don't buy them from a merchant that won't provide free return.

Order a size 12 couldn’t even put the boot on my entire food. Really small and narrow. Nice color and design but not as stylish. Couldn’t be tested for durability due to s being too small.

These are a solid size too small.

After 1 season of wearing these they started to squeak very loudly. It sounds like the rubber is cracking but I can’t see any damage. It’s unfortunate because these boots are warm, comfortable, and have great traction.

Now I understand all the reviews about this shoes being very undersized. Normally wear 10. I ordered a pair of 10's and also a pair of 10.5 hoping to get a good fit some how. Could not even get my foot into the size 10. (feels like 9 or 9.5) The 10.5 right side boot fits perfectly. So I try on the LEFT side 10.5 and it feels the same as the waay undersized 10. Three overlapping issues here. Too small over all sizes. Irregular jumps between sizes. Left side does not match the right side. I really wanted to like this boot. The right side 10.5 was really comfy. I'm a big North Face fan since late 80's. But horrible QC here makes it seem like a crap shoot on the sizing issue. I'd have to order 6 sets at .5 to full size larger, and try to find a matched set and return the rest? No thanks!

Keep your feet too cold, too small maybe two sizes smaller and the bottom is made of some kind of plastic and won’t expand specially when is cold.

Very tight. I even sized up a half size. Highly insulated so it looks huge but inside the boot is too snug for me. I returned it.
