This was the fourth time I bought these shoes or ones very similar. They are well-made and comfortable. However, I have learned to purchase a full size larger than my usual shoe size. They are also very narrow, but the leather stretches with wear. When I did not buy the larger size holes on the seams occurred much sooner.

My daughter's dance teacher recommended these and they do not disappoint. My daughter loves how they feel on her feet and they fit her well. So comfortable! She has a wide foot and we went with an 8.5, she normally wears an 8 or 8.5 in sneakers.

After reading the reviews, I ordered a full size larger than I wear in street shoes and they fit perfectly. The leather is soft as butter, and the suede sole on the ball of the foot is perfect for spinning. I can feel the outline of that sole on the bottom of the ball of my foot and suspect that if I don't break them in slowly I could develop hotspots. I wear jazz shoes for contra dancing, sometimes for 9+ hours a day at certain events (an average dance is 3 hours long) so comfort is a big deal.

I am a size 9.5 in women’s shoes and I ordered a size 10 (half size larger) and my shoe fits perfectly. Can’t wait to try them in dance class soon!

These are garbage. I just get them a few weeks ago. I never wore them outside. I just used them for 30 min each day.

These are true to size and width - comfortable from the start.

These are perfect jazz shoes. Very soft leather, and they slip on & off easily. True to size. What I like most is the suede split soles--not easy to find since most jazz shoes now have synthetic plastic-type bottoms. Suede doesn't stick to the floor and is much easier to dance & turn in. Zappos is the only place I can still find these, so I ordered a couple of pairs. Thanks, Zappos!

I am a size 9 and went with the 9.5. The shape is very comfortable to dance in and I love suede front sole.

My daughter uses these for both a practice show and a competition shoe and loves them!

My shoe size is a true 7 wide. I ordered the 8 and they fit as a dance shoe should, very snug. They are very attractive on, really showing the shape of your foot and barely noticable for shoes. However I'm not 100% sure yet about them because I can feel the suede sole through the shoe. That's what I don't like about ballet slippers. Other than that, they are very nice.

For a really snug fit I would recommend ordering your street size. Problem with the tight fit is that the toes will probably wear through faster. I am an adult size 6.5 and ordered a 7. Still a good fit, but toe area is not stretched out as much as with the 6.5. Have used these for recital only and they already show considerable wear and spots where it looks like the color is fading, but no holes.

These shoes run very small. My true size is a 10, and reviews indicated that they run true to size. I ordered a 10 and it was much too small. I returned the pair and ordered 11.5, which is as high as these shoes run. The fit was still too snug; I probably needed a 12. I returned the second pair as well - I guess I need to find a local dance supply store instead.

Good, fit. Feels good as soon as you put it on. After wearing in class twice the sole on the toe began to shred and become rough. Itnow sticks to the floor. Not greet.

All I had to do was put my foot in the shoe to know it would never work. The lining had ridges that were very bothersome.

I was so excited to get these, but wound up returning them. I bought them for use in barre3 class and they are far too slippery on the studio's cork laminate flooring. The soles are a soft suede, and due to sizing issues even if they weren't too slippery, I couldn't find a fit for the small amount of padding on the ball of my foot to align correctly. The nude color is really awesome, although if you can find the right fit the black ones would be very sleek. Hope you have better luck than I did. FYI I have skinny feet and plantar fasciitis.
